I Turn Now Good Luck Everybody Else Michael Patterson 2026-06-04 | I was on my way home when I got stuck behind this Tesla from Delaware. When I first noticed it, it was straddling the center line, which didn't inspire confidence in going around. Then, as I got closer the driver randomly slowed down, so I gave a bit more room. Finally, as we get up to the intersection, they decide at the last second that they need to make a left turn, nearly taking out the person already in the left turn lane in the process. I think the Tesla might've been better off driving itself, if it wasn't already.
Sorry Did Not See Your Parked Truck There Michael Patterson 2026-06-04 | I was sitting in traffic on my way to take care of something at work when this lady making a left turn out of the gas station on the corner misjudges and crashes into a pickup truck parked across the street. The lady pulled over right away, and the owners of the truck happened to be there when the collision happened. It didn't appear as though there were any injuries, and things seemed cordial, so I did not stop.
The Best Way to U turn Michael Patterson 2026-03-27 | I was just driving down the street on my way to work when this driver decides that the best way to turn around is to pull to the right like they're going to park and then swing around and hope for the best. Gratefully I was paying attention to the road.

Honda Rear ends Minivan Michael Patterson 2026-03-25 | ***From November 2025***I was on my way to an eye appointment when I heard a crash. Initially I thought it was someone hitting my car at a very low speed. Then I noticed the minivan next to me was pulling over and in my side-view mirror saw the Honda that was behind it with some front-end damage also pulling over. Because I was running behind, and both parties pulled over and the State Police were basically right there, I did not stop.

Stupid Camaro Gets Chased Michael Patterson 2026-03-23 | This Camaro was just hanging out in the left lane doing about 45 in a 55 directly in front of a State Trooper. The Trooper pulls him over and life goes on...or so I think until a few minutes later where the SAME Camaro passes me doing well over 100 with Troopers hot on his tail. I know neither what the Camaro took off for nor the ultimate outcome of the pursuit, but it was definitely interesting to see.

Brake Checked by Camaro Driver Michael Patterson 2021-07-19 | Camaro driver brake checks me, then refuses to let me pass. Not sure why they did all that...just glad there wasn't an actual collision.***Additional Context, 5 years later***Once the two cars in front of me at the beginning of the video moved into the right lane, I sped up to pass the cars in the right lane. You can actually see the Camaro pass me on the right before the car in front of me moves over. The Camaro then moved to the left lane, presumably to pass the slower traffic they'd caught up to in the right lane. Once I caught up to the Camaro in the left lane, which had been going the same speed as me up until that point (which, admittedly was very fast, ~85-90), they decided, for whatever reason, to slow down from ~70mph to ~30mph. If I'd known they were going to slow down so abruptly, I'd have tried to pass on the right much sooner; however, because of the unexpected nature of their slowdown combined with the fact that traffic in the right lane was still doing 50-60mph, and the Camaro driver hugging the right side of the left lane, I had to just match the Camaro's speed in the left lane while hoping not to be hit from behind myself until a gap presented itself in the right lane. Once I was able to move to the right, the Camaro driver decided to speed up again (whether to prevent me from passing or to try to get back in front of me, I'm not sure), and I stayed as close as I felt safe to the car in front of me to prevent the Camaro from getting back in front of me and resuming the nonsense. ***The whole thing was very silly and certainly could've been handled better on my end. But I'm grateful there was no collision, and also to the driver training I'd received through work, and the dashcam videos of similar scenarios I'd seen on YouTube that helped vicariously prepare me for this. I haven't had to deal with a similar scenario in the intervening five years, thankfully.
