How odd!This theme means a lot to me; it may not be the best recreation, and it may be pretty patchy in places, but I've been working on this for quite a few months now, and due to the sheer amount of time and effort I put into it, I'd have to say this is possibly my favourite creation on this channel so far.I've always loved the Distant J theme (Or "Doctor Where", as I hear it is called), and I wanted to learn some techniques and processes for me to apply in future themes, so this theme was a brilliant educational opportunity for me as well :) I made the theme using Audacity and Garageband.Huge thanks to Simon Bowser for all his invaluable help along the way. Doctor Who - The Nostalgia mix Gavrick Sawyer 2018-06-01 | Yeah, a bit of a weird one. It's an attempt to reminisce over my childhood, where I used to watch a lot of McCoy stories, particularly "Remembrance of The Daleks". There's something about Keff McCulloch's arrangement of the theme that's so melancholic, and really feels like the end of an era. Yeah, I'm not very good at the whole Schedule thing :PAnyway, having watched Twice Upon a Time yesterday, I cried a tonne, then re-watched Jodie's first scene a few thousand times, and now I'm super excited to see what the future of the show will be! These titles were made rather hurriedly, and the incorporation of the skull was rather shoddy (although nicely subtle, in my humble opinion), and is essentially a knock-off version of those old "What if 30th Anniversary" and "What if Season 28" titles, even going as far as me stealing the Distant J theme straight from the latter video. This video is incredibly unoriginal, so make of it what you will :PDoctor Who, The TARDIS, and all other names associated with the Doctor Who brand belong to the BBC.
