ES (Yes, I'm a very big fan but I don't really edit with it) and the finale killed me. It was so perfect and sad and nostalgic at the same time. Look at my babies, all grown up! -tears-I don't think many of you know this, but I dislike Haruka. I think he's selfish, cold and ungrateful most of the time, and everything seems to be perfect for him. That is until I watched Ep 9 of this season. It's my favorite episode ever and now I completely appreciate and understand Haru. He's under so much pressure and he can't seem to handle it, he actually has some faults and weaknesses. I'm really glad they included that this season otherwise I would still be glaring at him every time he showed up :')I absolutely loved the way the animators showed him cracking under pressure, with the water binding him underwater. My heart broke when he stopped swimming and just stood there as the other swimmers surpassed him; very well done. But I do think it's wrong to completely imitate someone else's video- the colors, fonts, songs, effects and the way they are used etc. because editors put time and effort into coming up with ideas and styles and it's not fair for people to steal them. (Sorry, just the way Hook says 'Alas' is adorableee!)I've been working on this for a while now, and let me just say, live action is so much more difficult to edit with than anime! :O I suddenly lost all my editing skills (?!) but I really really REALLY loved making this. Just squealing every time they came on. Seriously, the tension between these two is just PERFECTTTTT AJLSKAJA. I don't know why I decided to edit to this song, it just seemed to fit Hook so much. He's so desperate for love and the lyrics suited him perfectly.If you haven't already, please give Once Upon A Time a chance, it really is such an interesting and wonderful show, especially cause I'm a sucker for fantasy and fairy tales. The characters and the stiryline are just amazing! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! And if you're wondering why I haven't used scenes from the season finale; TOO SOON. '____________________________________________________( SPOILERS FOR BLEACH CHAPTERS 523-527! )And here is my entry for #TT14's Vice and Virtue Round (R2)! Thank you all for the wonderful support and encouragement on my previous entry; I passed the round and I'm happy to still be competing against such talented editors! :O :D Thank you all so much, hehe! :333This video was torture to make. ;~; I spent the first 2-3 weeks searching for a suitable song or footage, and by the time it was the original deadline for the entry, I hadn't even started on my video. For my first attempt at the entry, I tried to use clips from K Project and the HOMRA gang. It was pretty suitable because of the 'red means violence' thing, but I didn't really have any good idea's for it. So I scratched that and turned to Bleach and finally found something I could work on. And then I shifted over 5-6 different songs and ended up using this one. I'm not too proud of it, it looks very crummy, but it's as good as it's gonna get. :3For this round, I got the Vice of 'Wrath' : strong vengeful anger or indignation. Instead of using the exact definition of the word for my entry, I tried to show some of the emotions associated with 'wrath'. The story line in the video ( for those of you who haven't read 'Bleach' ) is that there are two Captain's fighting to the death. Both of them have an insatiable lust for blood and fighting, but while Zaraki's known of, Unohana has been concealing her's from everyone for over a decade. In the past, while she was searching for a worthy opponent, Unohana found a child Zaraki and fought him to her hearts content. She was the first ever 'Kenpachi'. Ever since then, she sealed off her lust for crossing blades, until they meet again and he challenges her to a fight to the death. I used the bright red and the monochrome effect to show the anger, violence and blood between the two. The color red also represents wrath and anger. :DIn the end, the anger, bloodlust and violence finally took over the both of them and it lead to Unohana's death. It was a 'vengeance or punishment as the consequence of anger'; an alternate meaning of the word 'Wrath'. The Garden of Words is so beautiful; I really love how it doesn't go very deep into their relationship, and how they are tied together by something as simple as the rain. The variety of shots and angles in this movie were brilliant. My favorite has to be the birds-eye-view of the garden and the two umbrella's. So beautiful. *sniff* That Tanka I included above made me love it even moreeee. Makes me wish it would rain more often over here. ;~; SO I CAN FALL IN LOVE IN THE RAIN AND BE A BOOTIFUL FLOWERRRRR.(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)As soon as I finished watching this movie (and replaying that confession scene a billion timesss) I really wanted to edit with it, and then this song came out the other day and I'm in love with the artist, so I decided to make it!
