When flying a drone, one of the highly important aspects is to be aware and clear about the steps to be taken in case of emergencies. The operator must be ready to react and make sensible actions if these cases occur. The FIXAR has created the instruction that illustrates main scenarios and actions to be taken.

In this case, FIXAR 007 equipped with EAGLE EYE-10IE 10X EO/IR DUAL SENSOR CAMERA with YANGDA Videopass-N15 link, which is a long-range broadband video and data transmission module with a range of up to 15 km (9.32 mi).
Total area of 2 km2 (494.2 ac) was covered with an average flight speed of 70 km/h (43.5 mph). The flight was carried out in tough weather conditions, with light snowfall and gusts of wind up to 15 m/s (49.2 ft/s).
Using FIXAR 007 solution, it took drone operator just 9 minutes to cover area of 2 km2 (494.2 ac). Several buildings were inspected during the flight, which improves drone operator’s efficiency, as more data can be gathered in shorter amount of time.

This August Russian Federal Research Institute Of Fisheries and Oceanography carried out a survey in the territory of the Chukotka Region. To execute task, the researchers used a FIXAR 007 drone equipped with a Tarot Peeper camera on a three-axis gimbal with FullHD quality.
To control the camera the video downlink system was used to change the direction of view and broadcast the image in real time at a distance of up to 20 km. The maximum route was 30 km. The option to change the shooting angle helped researchers collect high-quality video materials even when moving against the sun.
Studies of the abundance, distribution of fish and spawning grounds are traditionally carried out using helicopters, however this monitoring method is costly as well as organizationally challenging. To make the task easier and to handle it faster unmanned aerial solution was chosen to carry out the mission.
FIXAR 007 for video monitoring has a comprehensive approach to the tasks facing the customer: ✔️ The equipment installed on board shoots video in Full HD with a 10x zoom; ✔️ An additional video downlink broadcasts the recording in a real time and allows customer to control the camera; ✔️ The FIXAR 007 aerodynamic design allows vertical take-off and landing with 1 m radius accuracy; ✔️ Control of the aircraft is simple and intuitive. ✔️ Flight preparation takes less than 5 minutes; ✔️ FIXAR xGroundControl supports flights at different altitudes and along any trajectory, allowing the customer to conduct video monitoring of the required terrain; ✔️ High resistance to wind (up to 18 m/s); ✔️ Dust and moisture protection IP54.
As a result of monitoring, crucial information on distribution and abundance of Pacific salmon was collected and is used for further research of spawning grounds.
