The Pain is such an inspiring piece by Mateus Asato and it works really well on the classical guitar. Obviously I am not using the capo for this one :-) At the same time I have taken some freedom in the song as I repeat a few extra things because I just don't want it to end so quickly. Also the last chord on the outro is played a bit differently.
Hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as I have enjoyed playing it!

Hello, fellow guitar enthusiasts!
Welcome back to the second part of our Tommy Emmanuel guitar lesson series, where we'll continue to unravel the secrets behind Tommy's mesmerizing rendition of 'Imagine' by John Lennon.
As we delve into the latter portion of the song, make sure your guitar is tuned to drop D, following Tommy's unique style. Consider using a thumbpick to capture that signature Emmanuel magic.
While the majority of this 'Imagine' arrangement remains intermediate-friendly, brace yourself for the challenge of the bewitching cascading harmonics towards the end. Don't be discouraged; remember that Tommy has performed 'Imagine' without these harmonics, providing you with options – either skip them or take on the challenge head-on! ;-) If you enjoy these tutorial videos, don't forget to hit the 'subscribe' button and give the video a 'like.'

I recorded the full tune I believe in 2014 or 2015, just before I left the Netherlands to go and live in Canada. In the full version there's also a percussionist who's called Ruben Gouman. He's a friend of mine and we both taught at a large music school in the Netherlands.
Playing the song sure brings back some good memories :-)
