The 6th graders at H.B. Lee Middle School are currently working through the Genetics Unit. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I take the students on a trip down memory lane by discussing my love for genetics since high school, my work study job in college at a biology lab, and showing them my college dorm room. Then, I introduce the Traits Inventory activity by explaining how to identify each observable trait in yourself. In the next video, we will be graphing the data compiled from the inventory survey.
