Solo kings fall from patrol (Destiny) G5XD 2023-06-23 | This was a painful one. The IRB’s are pretty tight with where you die and if you fail you basically have to start from fresh. A lot of just flying, climbing, walking, and figuring stuff out.Special thanks to: youtu.be/8-rN4LFJLo8An IRB (interdimensional rez breach) is only possible in some locations. If you set your ghost in one of these locations in one loadzone by killing yourself there naturally via anything (touch of malice here.) then it will cause that location to essentially be remembered until you NATURALLY die again. If you cause what is called a true death (most notable from having no HUD after dying) then if you are revived via an auto rez mechanic (such as an encounter finishing), another teammate in the location, or self rez, you will respawn wherever your ghost WAS even if it is completely outside of the map as long as it is somewhere you’re physically able to stand on. In this case my rez first is set in an area where even though there is nothing i am setting my ghost’s theoretical coordinates to be where there’s a large tangible platform fully below trenchway. This one is performed just to allow me to get to a second spot which is the TRUE irb. The second one is the same idea — setting my ghost in a specific location then dying. The area you get teleported to when entering the portal in KF is still in the hall of souls loadzone, so since i set my imaginary ghost at the location of where that very specific area after the portal is even in a different loadzone, when i truedeath via PDR my ghost remembers and since i self rez it revives me there.
