So many have requested for me to do a remake of Birdman and several other Pilot Wings 64 tracks. Sorry that it has taken so long for me to get to it! This is just a little teaser of Birdman, keeping it pretty close to the original with a little more organic approach starting in the Electric Piano section. I want to do so much more with this track, so many directions to take. So, I started a Patreon page for creating more music like this and to connect more closely with fans of the music.

Dan Hess 2011-11-19 | This was a happy accident created just before beginning work on Pilot Wings 64. The sequence was used to demonstrate my company's sound library at the time as the Rhodes electic piano, Hammond B3, bass and drums were all our sounds. For any Pilot Wings 64 fans out there, this should remind you of many tracks in the game.

The track has timing issues because it was built from a randomly recorded sequence of me playing the Rhodes patch with no tempo set and I had to build the whole thing around it. Everything you hear was played from the keyboard. There are no loops used. And yeah, that's me in the pics which were taken in a session last year.

Dan Hess 2011-11-15 | I submitted tracks to the Spy Hunter design team at Paradigm just after completing F-1 World Grand Prix. I ended up working on other projects at the time, but some of the tracks popped up in an old backup folder so I'll post a few. It would have been a blast working on the game since I played so much of the original arcade game way back in the day.
All the demos were sequences within my Kurzweil K2500 but some of the synth sounds were sampled from my Memorymoog synth. That thing is a beast.

Dan Hess 2011-11-15 | This was one of the sequences I created before beginning the track work on PilotWings 64. It eventually became the Rocket Pack theme. The sequence itself was written to demonstrate a sound library that my company created called Sounds of the Seventies by Sonic Arts. The library was released for Emu Systems and Kurzweil users. For you musicians and composers out there, the entire track was just a sequence in my Kurzweil K2500.
