Even though I love saltwater aquariums, I've never been a fan of the bulky equipment. In this video, I demonstrate how easy reef keeping can be!Some may be skeptical about how this tank will perform in the long run. After two months of being set up, all the animals are thriving. I have yet to do a water change, and the only maintenance is topping off the water and feeding the corals. For this tank, I mostly used soft corals and LPS in order to keep maintenance to a minimum. It's great for small spaces and for people who are on a tight budget. If you are going to replicate this for yourself, DO NOT USE a fine grained sand like I did. The sand may be able to pass through the filter foam. This can damage the filter and significantly reduce its lifespan. Instead, use rocks or a LARGE gravel. How to build a Paludarium (Vivarium) Dr. Plants 2021-08-19 | This video is the first of a series where I plan on building up the levels of an ecosystem in this enclosure.
