I think it’s time that we seriously approach this question from the left. Usually the right wing says “communism killed millions” and the left either stays silent or dismisses this as propaganda. But in this video we won’t do that. We are gonna look at the facts and the figures just as I did in the death toll of capitalism video. And in the end we will come to our own conclusion.Just for clarification I will operate just like in that video. If a death is the result of the mechanics of the economic system, it is a death I will count. That means if there is an imaginary system in which that death could be avoided it will be counted. Stuff like murder are not the fault of the economic system and won’t be counted. With that out of the way let’s start.So what we will do is find the highest number we can, which has sources behind it and see how legitimate those claims are. And without wasting any more time. The highest number there is with a source behind it is 100 Million. Yes there are extremely biased pages on the web that claim that Stalin alone killed 60 Million they reach that number by counting every natural death in the USSR and adding the deaths of the German soldiers that invaded the soviet union who where killed by the red army defending Russia. But the highest somewhat credible number is 100 Million, in total since 1917, worldwide. And to immediately disprove Jordan Peterson: No, that’s not the official estimate. Not even close to be honest. It’s the estimate of Stéphane Courtois. This guy. He is the is a director of research at the “Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS)” excuse the pronunciation. To be more exact it’s from his book which is called “The black book of communism” it was written by these guys. Courtois was the editor and in charge of many of the conclusions and suggestions of the book. Apparently the other authors didn’t enjoy what he did with their research and every single one of them spoke out against the conclusions Courtois made. One said that Courtois was "obsessed" with arriving at a total of 100 million killed which resulted in "sloppy and biased scholarship". We’ll see what he meant later.As a full disclaimer I did not actually read the full 900 Page book and only read the chapters that are concerned with the points I am talking about along with external summaries to help me navigate this book. Very basically 3 years ago I made a video which was be throwing around some thoughts I had about what society could be like if we abandoned capitalism in a way that adjusted for many of the issues of the USSR. It’s the way things could be if we worked hard to make them happen.So let’s do a magical thought experiment. Imagine you are transported into a vikiist future. You wake up either in a house or flat that you personally own or which is owned by your new best friend, the commune. If you can’t afford a place the commune will give you one for free. Not a good one but it will be free.But even the free flats come with free water, heating, power and internet access which are provided to everyone based on your fundamental rights assured by the federal government. Other rights include the right to free speech, the right to own a gun, the right to equal treatment under the law and so on.But it’s nearly 8 am so you have to leave your place of living to go to your place of employment. Regardless if you are a plumber, factory worker, lawyer or nurse the place you work in is run by you. Well partially. In vikiism all businesses are democratically controlled by all people they employ. This is why you left your flat at 8 instead of having to be at work at that time. Your workplace just decided to start working later by majority decision, the workers also get to decide how much everyone is paid. They can even decide to elect single leaders among themselves if they like. Because workers are running and owning the business they are under no threat of being fired for minor infractions or being forced to work overtime.Their workplace also won’t suddenly be replaced by a new factory in “insert poor country” and if chatGDP starts outworking the programmers it is an opportunity to give them fewer working hours at the same pay. With workers owning workplaces automation becomes a path to a future without work rather than a threat to your income.After doing your work for the day you take the commune subsidised public transport, which if you are lucky is a tram, to the library where you can lend books for little charge. On your way back you pass the community college and think for a second about whether you should fulfil your dream of going to law school. All education on all levels is paid for by the commune and students out of work are provided for so there is nothing stopping you form pursuing that dream.

When humanity first founded modern cities that necessitates transporting workers from cheap houses to unsafe factories they built trams, and though they have been ignored recently as the fads called the “car” and “bus” have taken over the streets I am confident that long after all oil is burned and all lithium is extracted and individual cars fall by the wayside, trams will still train supreme!In a well designed city such as Vienna trams arrive at stations every 3 to 10 minutes depending on demand and stations are 5 minute walks apart. Trams have their own lanes which allow them to overtake stinky car owners. They are safer than cars because they are small trains and they win in every collision. Tram lanes also allow emergency vehicles, some of the only acceptable forms of non-tracked vehicles to bypass all those idiots standing at a stop sign not letting the fire truck past.Tram tickets cost 1€ 60 cents per transit. Unless you get a monthly ticket for 50 bucks or a yearly pass for 365€. Incidentally, if you buy the yearly ticket for 10 years in a row you could almost afford the cheapest used car on the market. Not the fuel or maintenance or anything but you could have a car. In a city like Vienna which has over 1000 tram stations cars don’t make economic sense. Not for the consumer to buy, and not for the city to support. It’s also way better ergonomically. One tram can fit 200 people in a 50 metre long wheelchair friendly vehicle, while transporting 200 people in individual cars would cause a small traffic jam. Yes it’s true that the trams of Vienna only average 15 kilometres per hour at peak times while cars manage an incredible 22 kilometres per hour. But consider: on the tram you can do whatever you like, you can do knitting, you can write a novel, you can read a book, watch a viki1999 video or eat a good Austrian leberkaassemmel.While you drive a car you can’t even be on the phone or be drunk. And being drunk is the main reason people take trams, not to mention how cars keep killing people, on a daily basis while the last time a tram was involved in a deadly accident was 4 months ago and it was because the 70 year old guy was walking on the tracks without checking if there is a tram coming. Obviously my heart goes out to the family of the victim but you know. Trams are still WAY safer, cheaper, more ergonomic and environmentally friendly than cars could ever be.So, now the rant is over and I can say, hello everybody and welcome to a new video. So yes we need to talk about what that means. It’s like in the UK. The official leader of everything is the prime minister, they negotiate with the opposition, they hold campaign speeches and lead parties. The president on the other hand is responsible for things like foreign policy, the army and making enemies die suspiciously. When Yeltsin eventually had enough of ruling Russia and fucked things up enough he resigned and left the post of president to Putin in 1999. The year I was born. Yes he has been in power for longer than half of you lived. But he was given the role of acting president. Which basically means he was the replacement president not the real president so he never got all the power.Naturally this would not do so he won the next election and became real president just a few months later. Since then he ruled Russia. The country was pretty fucked after Gorbachev and Yeltsin and Putin helped re-build. He helped reducing the power of the mafia, stabilized the economy and helped people feel more optimistic. That’s why he and his party United Russia are so popular. So now that we know the basics, what happens once he dies? Well that is hard to answer. Authoritarian countries often have stable times under some rulers only to fall to chaos once that leader dies so all bets are off the table. I have collected the most likely sources for a successor and will tell you a bit about the potential future presidents. And once he dies and you hear about the new guy I hope that that guy was at least in this video. And yes it will be a man, come on Russia is not that progressive. So let us come to the most obvious source of a new Russian president. His cabinet. As said before the party is incredibly popular they own 72% of the seats in the current Russian parliament. It marks the day on which the democratically elected president of Chile was overthrown by the far right regime of Augusto Pinochet which would go on to brutally kill and torture tens of thousands of people while being supported by the United States of America.Now you may wonder why America during the cold war would support overthrowing a democratically elected leader in Latin America. No you don’t, it’s because he was a Marxist that’s the reason. The people elected a leftist so the Americans supported a coup by a man who would commit incredible crimes against humanity.We will talk about the government of Salvador Allende, the coup on the 11th of September, the regime of Pinochet and it’s crimes. But first: a shockingly short summary of the history of Chile. The area that would become Chile was populated ever since 10,000 years ago and there were many native peoples living in the area.Sadly in the grand tradition of white Europeans talking about history they will be entirely ignored today. Around 1500 the Spanish conquistadors began taking over parts of the American continent. Even though there was no gold to be found in Chile they still set up a regime because of the rich agricultural land in the region and later they found copper as well. From this onward Chile was a colony, like all of the Americas was. Eventually by 1818 Chile gained it’s independence, and Spain was no longer able to resist because the Iberian peninsular was conquered and occupied by a Frenchman who was average height for the time. Chile would then go through many governments and even fought a war to get larger. Eventually by 1925 there was reform towards a presidential system which means that the president leads the country.Which of course lead to the eventual election that put Salvador Allende into power. He was leading the Popular unity movement which united socialists, communists and social democrats. Because the election was a 3 way race Allende won with 36% of the popular vote. Of course, the two largest candidates had another election to reach a candidate who gets the actual majority, that was of course the Popular unity movement. Allende announced the country would take “The Chilean Way to Socialism”, this tells us that he was not strictly a Soviet socialist and relied more on adapting to the conditions of his country, similar to Mao and other 3rd wordlist ideologies. His platform included many interesting things like for example nationalising the vital copper industry along with state critical industries which had been owned by American businesspeople before. He also nationalised the healthcare system to provide care for everyone and engaged in some exciting land reform. Taking land from landowners and giving it to the farmers that actually farm the land. Of course there was opposition to this, notably by the landowners, the far right and some people in the middle class, but broadly the government was supported by most. Allende at his core was a reformist who wanted to use the democratic system to reach socialism. This was criticised by the Marxist Leninists who wanted to abolish the democracy in favour of a democratic centralist system similar to the USSR and from the other side many radical socialists wanted to just destroy capitalism.

I eat meat so of course I had a look, and I quickly learned that It’s a movie that tries to get people to think about their meat consumption to nudge people to become vegan. This fascinated me and I quickly learned that there are multiple movies like it. And within my research I learned that there are 7 movies which are credited with making people vegan. List after list and website after website feature the same 7 movies. So, I figured I will watch them all, together they are about 12 hours of footage and I figured I could make a video having a look at those.Just so you know, I was not vegan when I started watching these, I am not trying to make you vegan, I am just telling you the things I learned, as well as the parts where I disagree with the documentaries. Am I still a meat eater after so much vegan content? Well, you will know by the end of the video so stay tuned.Because some of those movies show animal slaughter in really graphic ways I decided not to show you clips from them but I will show non graphic images. However, I will not shy back from describing the graphic things I learned and saw while watching this. It’s an animation I made where I explain Lenin as a children’s story and I took it down ages ago so this is your only chance to watch it. One last note. With 7 movies on similar subjects there are a lot of overlaps. I decided only to explain everything once and to balance it so I talk for the same amount of time every section, because of this it can happen that I discuss things that do not happen in that movie but rather another one. This is because in my mind everything started mixing together. So if you watch one of these movies and don’t see the things I mentioned, they are in one of the others. That being said let’s finally start.The 7 movies all have different approaches to making you vegan, the first one called Earthlings is mostly based on showing the horrible conditions farm animals live in nowadays. It starts off explaining how humans are not the only ones on earth, we share the planet with animals who are also earthlings, hence the title. The movie has lots of emphasis on the fact that animals and humans should be equal, and if you disagree you are a speciesist who discriminates based on species.

Basically they were settled by the Celtic people before written history, Britain was then invaded and settled by many groups while Ireland remained mostly Celtic, this does not mean they were behind, they had the written word, nobles that spoke latin and Christianity like the rest of Europe throughout the middle ages, but they were independent and spoke Irish at this point.But nothing lasts forever I am afraid and eventually once the English were unified and had taken Wales they turned their eyes to the island to their west. A series of English monarchs slowly took over more and more of the Irish island. And because Ireland had no united monarch they could not fight back effectively. So, Ireland came under English control, the official language was English now and Irish cultural practices were often supressed and banned. This makes Ireland the first nation that England ever Colonized; some historians even propose that the experience in Ireland was what taught the English how to colonize a place, divide and conquer.Eventually the European continent had a whole thing about the pope and some list or something and eventually the English king decided that England would be independent from the pope and made his own religion in which he is the boss, still got Jesus though.The Irish told the English to fuck off and barely any of them converted to Protestantism, then 300 years later England, Scotland and Ireland were officially united into the United Kingdom, yes, I called it England on purpose for now. The movie is about a family of superheroes who are forced to remain undercover and not use their powers, until they encounter their rival syndrome. It may seem like a generics early 2000s children’s superhero movie. Anyways I am going to force it into a leftist framework and you cannot stop me.At the start of the movie, we see superheroes like the main character mr incredible doing superhero things like murdering a criminal who is driving. This takes place before the heroes were made to go undercover. We are introduced to a character who calls himself incrediboy and who wants to be Mr Incredibles sidekick. Mr incredible is visibly annoyed at this, he says that he recognises the kid from the fan club, says “I’ve been nice, I stood for photos” and then fucking ejector seats the kid out of the vehicle, which if you ask me is child abuse. This is because the kid is not a superhero, he has no superpowers, he is just a kid who admires a hero. And that hero rewards him by being so cruel.This is the first instance of the movie making parallels to reality. We see that the so-called heroes consider themselves more important than the average citizen, they don’t even want to associate with them at fan meetings, they consider themselves a superior group, or as a Marxist would say, a separate class.And that is a class that has more power than the rest of the population, a minority with such abilities and no respect for the majority. It is obvious that the superheroes represent the capitalist ruling class. Mr incredible continues to do hero things, he fights someone called “bomb voyage” which is a pun that did not work out when I watched this in German as a kid.Incrediboy shows up again with his rocket boots but is immediately dismissed by Mr incredible. I see this as continued elitism, even when incrediboy has the ability to rise above the masses and become stronger than most he is still dismissed. This may be a reference to the fact that many self-made rich people are belittled by those who were born rich because they don’t know the made-up social rules rich people use.In the end Mr incredible blows up a train track and injures many. Of course he blames incrediboy, And he delivers the kid to the police.
