I was wild wtf ππ¦ Pretty sure 2015 was the year I started getting into celebrity crushes.... I mean I did MEP parts for both Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch's birthdays π wow okay. I also started playing with more texts and effects... a lot of "dodge" and overlays hahaπ¦ 2015 was also when I started thinking about switching channels... and then my uncle found @iamacutePikaTu π so KitsuKitx was born and everything worked out ππ¦ 2016 was the year everything changed... and by that I mean Zootopia came out π₯° oh and I started doing a lot of still-image editing so there's that. Guess I was really into that one black backdrop with the little emblems on it????π¦ I started doing a lot of "aesthetic" experiments in 2017... I didn't edit much cause of college but I think a lot of stuff I tried are still with me today (I see you ink reveals)π¦ 2018 is the year I did a ton of canon editing with maskings, I also did those text shots that I hand-tracked cause for some reason I was crazy enough to do them π€§ they look great thoπ¦ 2019 was a dead year. But dang the edits I managed to pump out that year still slap βοΈπ¦ Imo my editing puberty hit during 2020, as if something happened that year that got me a lot of time to just edit what I want when I want π€ ngl I miss getting into all these AE tutorials and just playing with the program. I also had a training arc that sped up my editing process πͺ thank you 2020 Carrieπ¦ So many all-nighter edits during 2021... the normalization of Carrie's 5 am uploads π really grateful that this was the year a lot of ppl found my channel! I really liked the movie but lost inspiration after having 85% of the clips and voiceovers all laid out.Anyways, my grandpa passed away last Tues. (6/8) and it hit me pretty hard. This was the first time someone close to me passed, and what hit me harder was me not being there for him. He passed away in Taiwan, thankfully surrounded by my other family there. We were planning on visiting him last year because he was getting weaker and we knew he was leaving soon. The last time I talked to him was during my last trip to Taiwan, I wasn't the best then but he still smiled at me and I think that was enough.
