Its great that this paddle still retains the stability, forgiveness, and large sweet spot size that original J2 shape was known for. In terms of power, pop, spin, control, and swee spot I could not notice hardly any differences between the Long Handle and Short Handle models. The only real difference I could notice was a slight decrease in stability and a more whippy feel from the Long Handle version.

Gearbox GX2 First Impressions #pickleball Pickleball Pursuit 2025-03-20 | FINALLY Gearbox has made a very good paddle that can be modified to perform at high levels of stability, forgiveness, and sweetspot size. I gravitated to the Hyper shape which comes out May or June. The Elongated and Integra XL will drop early April! These will be the best gearbox paddles in my opinion! #pickleball
