I figured this out a few months ago and I wanted to try it a few times to make sure it didn't mess anything up before sharing it with you. I have tried it on multiple surfaces and seems to work great every time!Watch the video all the way to the end. It's like magic! For each of my tutorials I provide a line drawing for my students to trace to follow along with the videos. When you use the graphite transfer paper to trace the image, it makes a mess no matter what you do. The Difference Between Watercolor & Gouache Lynn D. Pratt 2022-01-24 | Here is a quick tutorial showing you what the difference is between watercolor paint and gouache paint. Both are considered water soluble, which means you can wet them and spread them with water. Testing New Watercolor Paint Colors Lynn D. Pratt 2020-08-03 | Here is a short video where I walk you through the steps I use when I get new watercolor paint colors. It is very important to know all the qualities of the paint you are using before you start adding it into a painting.Some colors mix differently than others or have very different qualities. If you are painting a clear blue sky with no clouds you might want a nice smooth wash where if you are painting a stormy sky you might want your colors to naturally granulate. You can find out these things by doing simple tests with each color before you use them in a painting.
