BBC Two Tent (Snow Mountain) Ident 2007 TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | February 2007 saw the launch of the third generation of BBC2's idents based on the familiar '2' symbol. The theme is looking at the world through the logo. This ident was part of a series of idents that showed different views from the unzipped opening of a tent flap. Here a view of snow mountains in the alps.
BBC Two Chase Ident 1 2007 TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | This ident was first introduced in February 2007, on the theme"looking at the world" Here a man escapes by fleeing through another 2-shaped hole and hiding. There were a number of variants that aired with this concept of chasing. All the chasing idents were removed from the current ident lineup in 2009
BBC Two Cappucino Ident 2007 TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | February 2007 saw the launch of the third generation of BBC2's idents based on the familiar '2' symbol. The theme is looking at the world through the logo. Many of the idents have variations - here, as the stencil is removed from the top of the cappuccino, you see sugar cubes dropping into the coffee. This ident was removed from circulation in 2009, other idents from the same batch are still airing presently.
BBC Two Break Water Ident 2007 TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | In this ident, we see a seascape composed of waves crashing through a 2-shaped hole in a wooden groyne. This ident was first introduced in February 2007, and was modified later in 2009 and is currently still in use.
Top of the Pops 2000s Opening Titles (2003-2006) TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | Friday 28th November 2003 saw the last revamp of the world's greatest music show. "Get Out Of That" by Tony Gibber made its return as the theme (in a slightly remixed form), and a brand new logo was created. For a while the show was re-named "All New Top Of The Pops", but this was soon dropped
Top of the Pops late 1990s Opening Titles (1998-2003) TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | 1st May 1998 brought another new look - Ben Chapman devised a new version of "Whole Lotta Love" as the theme tune and this colourful offering became the new logo!
Top of the Pops mid 1990s Opening Titles (1995-1998) TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | Thursday 2nd February 1995 saw yet another revamp of the show. Another new logo was introduced and Vince Clarke composed the new theme tune - "Red Hot Pop". This would make its last appearance on 24th April 1998!

Top of the Pops late 1980s Opening Titles (1989-1991) TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | On 5th January 1989 TOTP celebrated it's 1,300th show, and with it yet another new logo - "The Wizard" by Paul Hardcastle remained as the theme tume. This logo made its last appearance on 26th September 1991 (as did the "Wizzard" theme after 291 outings!)
Top of the Pops early 1980s Opening Titles (1981-1983) TV2Record1 2011-07-20 | Thursday 9th July 1981 saw the 900th edition of the show, and a live broadcast with the four original hosts. With this landmark came a regular title sequence for the first time in seven years, and the memorable "flying records" titles. With this came a revised version of the logo and a new theme tune by Phil Lynott - "Yellow Pearl". A revised version of the titles would appear from the 1,000th edition of the show on 5th May 1983! This iconic sign is still regarded by many as the logo.
