How to Make a Paper Art from Mad Max Light Box Life 2024-06-13 | Hey guys. Today I'm showing you guys how to make a papercut lightbox from the movie mad max, inspired by the new movie furiosa. I was first going to make the scene of max standing next to his car but I thought it would be cool to make a car chase scene with a cool perspective. I made a detailed sketch and started on the background. I made the road out of sketching paper and the sky with faint distant clouds. I made the war rig by cutting every piece out individually and assembling it like a puzzle. I used foam board for spacers. I made the bandits truck which was really simple. I made a base of the truck and glued spikes all over it. To make it look like the cars are moving I added dust clouds under the tires. Then I made furiosa and a war boy and glued them in place. I used an orange light to match the movie.

I've always loved animation so I wanted to give it a try. I thought my lightbox style would look cool. I spent 6 months on this project and put a lot of work into it. I decided to depict a scene of a cyborg collecting gears in a post apocalyptic world and getting eaten by a bird. There were 156 frames of the cyborg moving and even more of the bird. I made this lightbox 3 times as big as my usual ones to add more details. I filmed for 2 nights straight, edited out the tape and added music and sound effects. Enjoy!

I haven't been uploading lately because I've been working on this project for the past 6 months. I'm going to be making a long video showing all the details a week from today. This was a lot of work. I had to make 156 cyborgs, 50 or 60 birds, and a whole stationary environment. Filming it was a bit difficult, having to switch out everything with each frame. It was very tiring but worth it. Once I filmed everything I had to edit out all the tape and add music and sound effects.

Creating A Dune Inspired Papercraft Diorama. Light Box Life 2024-03-18 | Hello everyone, welcome back toa new video. Today I made a papercut lightbox inspired by the new movie, Dune part 2. I loved the story and the world of dune so I made a scene depicting a fremen riding on a sandworm. I created the sand dunes out of cardstock and used sketching paper to create a highlighted and shaded side. I made 3 layers of sand dunes and moved onto the worm. I created the body in a half circle tube with a flat back. Then I cut individual strips of scaled to wrap around. The scales are uneven to look more natural. I created a mouthpiece with some details cut in and glued it onto the mouth. I created a fremen to ride on the worm and cut it out in individual pieces and glued them together. The good thing about creating the scales this way was that I could pry up individual scales to put the hooks in and it looks more realistic. I glued the whole worm onto two layers and created some details. I made two waves of sand as the worm moves and some dust clouds getting kicked up. I do my best to place them in an appealing way and then create a few more layers of dunes. For the sky I use sketching paper and add the two moons of arrakis. They are called arvon and krelln. I use sketching paper to add details to the moons and glue it in place. Then I add my orange led and it's done. Enjoy!

I had this idea for a long time to make a 3d project where the paper comes up out of the project. more like a diorama than a lightbox. I used foam board to build the layers. i build the tree using cardstock. i spent days attaching leaves and filling out the crown of the tree. I loved cresting the little spirit playing the harp by the water. It has a mask and cloak. I created a little dragon the same way as the tree and I decided to thread some fsiry lights into its belly to light it up. I create a water effect like in some animes. I pick some blue purple lights. This project was super fun to make and it turned out great. Hope you enjoy!
