There's a theory in my mind about using a faster setup on the 2nd player to get more speed so I can surf the ramp to the right of where I end, but I dunno if I can even do it.Ima try that later tho, this is really fun.If you don't understand what's happening here, basically I'm airblasting people up and then fall on them, and the game treats it like I'm on a moving platform for a frame. The game then adds the speed that I airblast him (or technically his current velocity) to my current velocity w/o applying friction because it's basically no time spent on the ground (his head), but enough to register that I was on him. This means you go really fast, really quickly.

Infinite ft range in a pub lol KenonArtulii 2018-01-16 | Before Jungle Inferno, flames inherited the velocity of the pyro, which means the flames would go in a direction to where you were moving.Post Jungle Inferno, flames inherit the speed of the pyro, so they'll go towards where you're aiming with the speed you're going at. (This makes aiming the flamethrower like 500x easier than it was even w/o the new damage detection method)So that means nowadays, if you use a tele trap and damage to increase your velocity to ridiculous amounts, you can aim a super long range flamethrower at people. You could do this in the past, but it was more trouble than it was worth speaking that you could only aim in one direction and the flames were invisible so it was hard to tell what direction it was unless you set it up beforehand w/ very specific angles.Sorry about the noises I make, I make em while I play and am concentrating.
A Flare Jump KenonArtulii 2017-12-18 | So right now in tf2 there is this silly bug where if you spawn a flare inside of a wall, it acts as a detonator shot immediately. This has like, no practical consequences aside from pyro being able to kinda build uber and giving you a way to trip people out mid fight as you fling your corpse at them and make them wonder if he was using flare or detonator. This is because the angles you gotta use are stupid for jumping. This is one of those stupid jumps that you can potentially maybe somehow actually use once in a million games, or until they fix it in a year. Thanks to VAVLIE for telling me about this.

Didn't fit the flow of the video well enough.I'm kinda biased towards this update because I'm fairly flamethrower heavy as a pyro naturally, but I really have been enjoying the way the flamethrower changes have changed the dynamic of pyro.In the sense that they actually didn't change the dynamic of pyro much, they just made the flamethrower feel stronger. And that makes pyro overall way stronger. Not so much against scouts, but against literally anything else, hell yeah.Combos are still more efficient than burning and totally necessary against good players, but burning itself is very very strong when you can actually do it.EDIT: Oh and like every single optimized combo except for vs 125 is basically a faster kill now even with the weapon switch being slightly slower who knew

This is one of my favorite loadouts and the buff to the det jump for self jumps is just perfect for this. It makes this kind of stuff super good and more importantly, super flashy.And in the end this looks way more impressive than a degreaser into flare, and that's all that matters.
