First Flight Russell Smith 2015-08-31 | First time out with a decent camera strapped onto my quad.One of many taken while camping for the weekend at Emberton Country park.I still need to get the camera settings dialled in and have made changes to the settings since this was taken.Its an SJ5000+ wifi - it was filmed at 1080x60fps (only uploaded at 30fps).settings were Auto white balance and +0.3 EV. (now set to datlight and +1.5 after reading others comments about this camera)
Simple Quad Crash Russell Smith 2015-04-26 | After learning not to rely on someone elses assembly and setup of a quad, I stripped and rebuilt The F330, and then reset and setup the APM 2.5 controller. This was its first proper outing with its new settings and after a few good initial tests I was returning from a nice high stable flight...Lessons 4 - 64 - Don't cut throttle to zero (don't disable your idle-function on your FC)5 - Always watch your orientation (I was trying to correct the left drift with more right - not noticing that the quad is now facing me)6 - Don't panic - If I had of let go of the sticks - it would have self leveled... or perhaps I should have just flicked the return to home switch - DOH.Only a new arm needed.
