I thought I was hearing things but I analyzed it and now I cant un-hear the warbly high end. This sucks, especially for an "audio" centered Youtube channel. WTF, Davinci??

Ive seen a few folks have issues with training their NAM models due to having incorrect sample lengths on their Output.wav versus their V1_1_1.wav files. Both of these files need to be the EXACT same length. Using Audacity, it is easy to compare both files and export a perfect Output.wav file.
Bonus: Might as well also normalize it while youre at it! Normalizing affects how loud your NAM model will be. It doesnt affect the tonality and doesnt affect training. Its just a good practice in order to standardize your models volumes so they are all the same volume when you change from one model to another.
Other bonus: while youre training, if your ESR score is already really low and not improving after a couple hundred Epochs, you can perform a "graceful shutdown" of the training process by selecting the Anaconda GUI and hitting CTRL+C on your keyboard.NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) - BOSS HM2 - quick demoJason Zdora2023-03-04 | Im soloing between the real HM2 and the NAM version while listening to a DI track.

5- click "Open Plug-in Interface" to view SonoBus GUI
6- on SonoBus GUI - click "Connect"
7- create a Group Name and a Display Name
8- click "Connect to Group"
9- start up the SonoBus Windows desktop application
10 - click "Connect" on SonoBus GUI for Windows
11 - create a Group Name and a Display Name ***use the same Group Name as the one in OBS***
12 - click "Connect to Group"
13 - Play some audio from windows (Youtube, Audacity, etc.) or your DAW to verify that the audio is registering inside the OBS Media Source

6- Click on the folder icon (left side of screen under the spyglass and the "{x}" icons)
7- Drag and drop your audio files (V1.wav and output.wav) into the blank area at that opens up when you click on the folder icon
8- Scroll down to "Step 2: Installation" and click on the "[ ]" inside the darker box inside of the Step 2 area. Should see a bunch of script stuff fill the page. Scroll down.
9- Underneath "Step 3: Train!" find the 2nd darker box. If you want to increase the epochs, find where it says "run(epochs=100)" and type in whatever you want. "run(epochs=1000)" is great but remember that it takes about 8 seconds per-epoch so plan accordingly.
10- Click on the "[ ]" inside of Step 3 to begin running the training. If you see a red "play" button, find the error message below and report it on the user group. If its running correctly, you will see a loading bar filling up over and over with an Epoch number in front of it.
11- When its done, you will see a new folder in the folder section called "exported_models". Open up the sub-folder that has 6 different files in it. Right-click and download "config.json" and "weights.npy". Its a good idea to put them both inside a folder on your computer and name that folder after the hardware you modeled and the date you made the model or other details (easier reference if you make multiple versions).
13- Start up your DAW and load up NAM Snapshot (folder is called "Steve Atkinson" in your VST3 finder).
14- Click the "Choose Model" button on the GUI and find the folder with your config.json and weights.npy files.
15- Add an IR after the NAM Snapshot plugin
16- Enjoy

Thats the easiest way to say it.UAD Multiple Monitors with MIDI control and PluginsJason Zdora2022-12-07 | How to create multiple ALT outputs in UAD Console with independent fader control. This gives you the ability to switch between 4 or more sets of speakers as the Master Output of your Apollo. Can be done with just your mouse, the I/O Matrix page and Console but this works especially well with the 3rd party UA Midi Control software made by Radu Antonio Varga.
Basic premise: Whatever is assigned to I/O Matrix OUTPUTS 1 and 2 will always be considered your main output and any computer audio will always be routed to outputs 1/2. You can assign Virtual Channels to these outputs and then route those Virtual Channels to physical outputs in order to use those physical outputs for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc... set of speakers (only limited by the number of Virtual Channels and Physical Outputs of your rig). The fader on that Virtual Channel works just like an independent Master Volume for those speakers!
For larger Apollo devices, routing the output of a Virtual Channel to a physical output can be done directly on the Channel level but for smaller devices (twin, x4) you can utilize the Cue Outputs and set their source to CUE and then set Mirror To Output as a pair of physical outputs. +
Put your X16 (or whatever device you want to utilize the physical analog outputs with your studio monitors) as your primary device and the X4 as the secondary. This is important if you want to have this many faders and still have access to the ins and outs of the X4 on your desk. This also gives you 2 extra outputs on the X4 (monitor outputs are not used and can be repurposed in your DAW - headphone amp, maybe?).
Change the I/O Matrix output 1&2 to any pairs of Virtual Outputs when you want to route the audio to a different set of Physical Outputs. Set the Virtual Channels to "link" on the Console and name that channel after the speakers youre going to send the audio to. Be sure to "Save As" your I/O Preset and name it with your routing scheme so it makes sense later on when you want to manually swap speakers with your mouse.
For X16 you can route those Virtual Outputs to Physical Outputs on the X16. The fader for that Virtual Channel controls the volume of the physical output. For X4 you cannot route the Channel Faders of Virtual Channels to output to a Physical Output in the same manner as you can with the X16 so instead you have to utilize the Cue Fader on that Virtual Channel. Cue 3 and 4 are free to use since you are only using Cue 1 and 2 for headphones. Set that Cue to listen to its own Cue Source (and not the MIX Source) and then set the Mirror to Output to a pair of Physical Outputs on the X16. The Cue Fader in the Sends area of the Virtual Channel will control the volume of the Physical Outputs assigned to that Cue's Mirror to Output.+
With those audio routes saved as individual I/O Presets, you can now set up your MIDI controller with UA MIDI Control.
Set up your MIDI Controller with unique CC or Note values for each button/knob. Doesnt really matter what they are, so long as each one is unique. Set buttons to invoke each I/O Preset. Set faders to control volume output for each Physical Output. This is the UA MIDI Control setup:

Full detailed instructions/notes:
Wrote all of this out for a video Im going to make soon on how to get DAW and Windows audio into OBS then get OBS audio and video into Skype/Zoom/OBS.ninja (video conferencing software)
Figured Id post it here in case anyone is nerdy enough to read it. Also so I have a backup if I somehow lose it or forget the steps some day. Programs you will need
-Your DAW
-OBS
-Skype/Zoom/OBS.Ninja/ other video conferencing software
-Reaper ReaPlugs VST FX Suite - ReaStream Standalone Install the .dll file in Program Files/VST Plugins (and if needed) copy that .dll into the plugin folder specified by your DAW
-VB Audio - Virtual Cable installs itself, shows up in Windows Audio settings. No special setup needed here.
------------------------------------------
Windows Audio Setup
1- Right-click your speaker icon on the bottom right-hand side of your computer (in the windows toolbar)
2- Select "Open Sound Settings"
3- On the Sound Settings page, look on the far right and select "Sound Control Panel"
Disable and hide everything else except for:
PLAYBACK TAB Speakers (your sound card) - set to Default Device CABLE Input - enabled but NOT set to Default Device
RECORDING TAB Stereo Mix - enabled but NOT set to Default Device CABLE Output - set to Default Device
Add Source/ Audio Output Capture - set to "Speakers" so it only captures windows audio and doesnt duplicate your vocal.
Protip: make a scene with both of these then NEST this scene into your other functional scenes. This way you dont have to add both of them to every scene, just add the single "audio" Scene as a nested scene. If you dont understand this, just ignore it and repeat the steps above for every new scene you create.
-Set your Audio Buffer size low (512 or lower if possible without audio crackles)
-Disable "Delay Compensation" or select "Reduce Latency When Monitoring" for low latency microphone audio
-Plug your microphone and instruments into your soundcard, create inputs on your DAW and mix these to your liking. (add plugins like Bertom Denoiser, Compressor, EQ, etc.)
-Add the ReaPlugs VST Plugin "reastream-standalone" to the Master Output at the end of its signal chain. You need to change some parameters on the plugin so that it "sends" audio to the other reastream-standalone plugin thats inside OBS
reastream-standalone Settings:
Identifier = default Enabled = checked Send audio/MIDI = checked Set to *local broadcast
Remember that your Master Fader does NOT control the volume of your DAW inside OBS. Leave your Master Fader at 0db so you know exactly how loud your audio is going to be inside OBS/Zoom/Skype/etc.
Protip: Add a gain control directly before reastream-standalone OR group all of your audio channels into a single bus, send that bus to the Master and use that fader as your pseudo master fader. This gives you control over how loud your entire DAW is on the other applications.

Finally got OBS to hear my Ableton audio with Voxengo Recorder. Use whatever sample rate and bit depth you like inside Ableton. No need to match it up with the 48khz/16bit that OBS uses.
There is one more step: getting the video and the audio synced up. You will have to enter a negative integer into the Advanced Settings menu for the audio channel (little gear on the mixer). Its going to be something like -60. There are demo's that show you how to do this but you can also just use an 808 hihat and check your audio transient vs your Ableton fader display. Use a video editing software to measure the difference on a video you export out of OBS. Make an adjustment to the OBS Advanced Settings, re-record that 808 hat, check it again, re-adjust... until you got it down.
