That's right this is a third party game for Sega's famous arcade hardware by Tecmo! For best results view at 1080p60fps. Marvel as I take you on a whizz bang tour through one of the best fighting games on the system that may have been a bit overshadowed by a tremendous amount of boob bounce. Despite that, this game is great and the version Tecmo brought to the Saturn is incredible and I highly suggest everyone give this a watch!

Inglebard Gaming 2024-06-30 | Look at this, a three way comparison of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3! Check out the arcade vs the Genesis / Mega Drive and SNES versions! See a complete playthrough, a few full screen comparison videos, a few full screen comparison screenshots and see the arcade right up against the Genesis, up against the SNES and at the end, SNES vs Genesis. This one has it all folks, except for everything that it doesn't!

A few notes on this one: I couldn't include EVERYTHING that's different or show every character because I wanted to keep this at about 25 minutes and that would have made this hours long. I think I hit most of the important points, maybe you'll disagree. If you do, that's fine, just say your piece nicely (please) in the comments.

Also, yes, I do know about the various hacks for the SNES and Genesis versions that restore a lot of the missing stuff (and add stuff that was never in the original!) but this was about comparing the actual commercial releases of each version of the game.

Valis III TurboGrafx aka PC Engine vs Genesis aka Mega Drive

Here's a full gameplay comparison of Valis III (Valis 3) on the Turbografx-16 CD aka PC Engine CD and the Sega Genesis aka Mega Drive. There are quite a few differences between the two versions in this one so it's interesting to take a look at. Whie I show you the complete game in this video, I only show SOME of the cutscenes and I do that at the end when I do the wrap up / summary. I also let you know my opinion on which version of Valis III is the best one... or do I? Hmmm.

Some bonus stuff I didn't point out during the comparison: I ran a bunch of screenshots from both through color counting software. Typically, the Turbo CD version of the game shows about 5 to 10 more colors onscreen at any given moment than the Genesis version with a few exceptions. So even though the Turbo is capable in theory of showing much more onscreen color... it usually doesn't.

This is a long play or let's play style video that includes a complete playthrough of both versions of the game at the same time with commentary throughout. What a miracle technology is.

Inglebard Gaming 2023-08-01 | For brest results view at 1080p60fps. Hey all, welcome to the first installment of my Shining Force retrospective series! Shining Force was one of the console SRPG pioneers and it's a shame the series isn't around anymore. But instead of being bummed there hasn't been a legitimate NEW entry since 1998 (the 2004 GBA game was a remake), how about we celebrate what we DID get? Yeah, lets do that.

This video covers what the series will be like, release schedule, format, and a retrospective of the whole first game, filled with all the plot points and spoilers. It's not a 100% run, I didn't get all the characters because I just forgot where a few of them were since I haven't played this version in about 25 years. Oh well, I'll try and do that stuff when I get to the remake!

Virtua Fighter Arcade Vs 32X | Utterly Pointless Comparisons

Inglebard Gaming 2023-07-22 | For best results view at 1080p60fps. Here's an utterly pointless comparison of the arcade and 32X versions of Virtua Fighter! Because of some emulation problems with each, hey this is even more pointless than normal! Check out a complete game playthrough of both versions with commentary and see just how Sega handled bringing the arcade model 1 title home to the Frankenstein's Monster of a 32bit add on, the 32X!

Some bonus stuff IU didn't point out during the comparison: the color behind the timer is different on the 32X version vs the arcade original. The timer is also a lot bigger on the 32X version in the UI. Finally, there was an audio issue with my 32X version audio recording that added a little extra background noise, sorry about that, ran out of time to rerecord and it's so minor I didn't think it was worth delaying the video.
