It was intended to finish sometime earlier this year, before the cruise to New Zealand blew the schedule out of proportion. Only after I celebrated my 23rd birthday did I muster the courage and time to finally finish this poop, and coming back to it in record time. Hence the rather fitting title, also considering that it was months late for the show’s tenth birthday.I chose to make Horat’s ‘Mustang ranch’ line deliberately out of context, by including a modern-day Ford Mustang and Paul Newman’s ranch dressing in place of what was actually there.At the time, I opted to include a YouTube search engine of some Nutshack-related memes. It would’ve been timelier if it were made last year (especially considering YouTube’s recent update), but seeing Phil and Horat discover themselves on the internet would’ve seemed like a great joke to make in my mind. It would also, ironically, imitate life, as Jesse Hernandez and NUMP have both seen The Nutshack evolve into a meme, and are proud of it.In my mind, I actually had a Pokemon dancing or swaying to the stock music that The Nutshack had to offer. Fortunately, there was some Pokemon GO animation with a Clefairy that could make it work, and the rest is history.For Horat’s final line of dialogue, I decided to lower Horat’s voice just for the hell of it. It made me wonder why Jesse Hernandez didn’t use his own voice for this character. Sure, it wouldn’t have been a masterpiece, but it would’ve been light years ahead of the high-pitched grating.After learning YouTube changed for the umpteenth time (thank you HassanLechkar), I decided to end this poop abruptly on another call-back from a YouTube Poop called ‘The Fortune Symbol Club’; a character being shocked/dismayed over the key change, and Kagami responding with “it doesn’t work”. Thinking about it, this poop actually did break the fourth wall… more than once.With YouTube changing, this YTP is the first time I’ve opted to use the end screen, along with adding closed captions.

The song also makes an appearance at the end credits.A scene involving the box exploding wasn’t originally planned, but I decided to throw that joke into the video, mainly because I had the explosive ending from Death Wish 3 and that like to make things dark in a YouTube Poop every now and then. However, the joke almost immediately cuts to the group still alive and well, implying that Sakaki could either have an unstable mind, or is a questionable story-teller.Following Pikachu’s subliminal messaging, Sabrina calls him out by saying “You’re w(h)acked man. Fools…”, with an unseen voice saying “What’s the matter with you, man?” The lines were taken from the movie Breakin’.A joke involving Kadabra having a heart attack was intended to be worked into the video, although with a lack of ideas to work on, I settled with the final joke being placed after the end credits.

Jareth mentions it, then the baby, and it is heard one more time before the shoes are stomped on.The joke at 56 seconds in, was somewhat inspired from Hotel Mario, when one of the puppets of Jareth suddenly disappeared as the other was flung up to the air for a brief moment.The sound where Jareth violently sniffs his finger was actually taken from the infamous 'Inside Out' smoking PSA from (according to HelloImAPizza) the 'National Council Against Smoking' in South Africa. The original sound was in mono, and it featured the transformed (and ruined) woman.The scene where David Bowie covers his mouth with his hand gave me the excuse to put in Zelda's "You've got to be kidding" line.The end joke where Koyomi answers the phone, Jareth/David Bowie said "You remind me of Naru". He is referring to Naru Narusegawa (of Love Hina), and, barring some minor changes, the two do look strikingly similar.

Love Hina - The Greatest Hits Lord Smeargle 2012-11-27 | Plot Synopsis: After Naru gets accused of stealing Motoko's breasts, she sends her and Team Rocket up in the air. The former proceeds to hit the rooftop, and mimic Toyota's slogan. Naru then sees Naru and the former urges her to stop, until she learns about what the latter is. This, of course, confuses Naru, which gives Naru time to get Naru into the raccoon dog doll, despite being a tight fit. After that, the evil Naru announces that she will write everyone's epitaths, but then gets angry over Mitsune uttering a dirty phrase. Even when Motoko derobes evil Naru, she still grabs the letter, and then proceeds to glomp it. When evil Naru's cover is blown by Haruka, she reveals her identity, thus stunning the entire cast of Love Hina. When it looked like Motoko would ask a question, the credits roll over.All of a sudden, Kaolla and Mitsune have both watched the YouTube Poop that Lord Smeargle has uploaded, which Mitsune responds negatively to it.
