Just Shapes & Beats - Till Its Over [Nohit]
updated
Over 80k attempts, 263 runs past 28%, 39 deaths past 55%
Here is the raw of this run for those who want it. I don't have the mental capacity left to deal with hackusations, so I'm just going to drop this here. drive.google.com/file/d/1bROr9ANlCZ3Nwa26ZFj0a2lg8Rp17VpB/view
This was a fluke from my 46% run, although I had gotten to the drop a ton after my 46 run.
I genuinely can beat the level.
I like, actually can beat the level
I don't even know how to process that.
Attempts: ~65k
Paused at the cube because I struggle a lot with long levels and taking a moment to cool my nerves down and wipe some gamer sweat off my palms mid-run helps a lot lol
Attempts so far: ~60,000
I have had like literally 3 dozen copies of this level and at least 80% of those are lost, so no I have no idea how many I actually have, my guess is in the 55k-65k range so I'm just saying its like 60k lol
Difficulty: This run on mouse is literally impossible for me and I have no clue how I did it lol. Probably between Forlorn and Umbral Sky
Worst deaths for this run: 28-81, 28-75x2, 28-74, 28-72x2
raw of my attempts on the level: youtube.com/watch?v=7qsGof5QXxI&ab_channel=BennyCocoPop
Attempts: 868
Time to complete: 22 minutes
Enjoyment: interesting gp lol, was pretty fun ig tho so like a 7 or 8
Also I started grinding this literally this morning lol, so this like literally took me 900 attempts to derust and then beat the level lol
This is also my hardest achievement with mouse so W
Attempts: (New) maybe 1200ish?
Attempts (Total): like 25k probably lol, I have lots of old
Hardest parts: 40 ship is hard to get consistent at but I spent a while doing a personal challenge to get consistent at it. 31% is by far the hardest part for me (mostly cuz I have 0 cps on mouse and double clicks are impossible on mouse so lol), and honestly that part carried this for me.
Luckily 44-100 plays itself so I was able to fluke from 46 lol
Personal Difficulty: Easier than Precipitance, but probably underrated since its super skillset and skillbased
Difficulty: Extreme Demon, idk what the gddp rating is, probably platinum like precipitance
Attempts: like 600 flat lol
I got pretty meh consistency so it took a second
Difficulty: idk its my skillset, it took literally 15 minutes lol (somewhere in bronze if anything ig? idk I haven't played a Bronze in a while, defo easier than most upper bronzes for me tho)
Its been over 26 months since I first verified old yey, or just yey at the time, and over the course of 2 years I've made almost half a dozen versions of it, whether it be buffs, nerfs, x2s, etc. But now, I can finally say that this is it.
Difficulty: Extreme Challenge, probably Gold tier on wave GDSR
Personal Difficulty: Harder than MIDNIGHT by a lot, easier than Umbral Sky by a lot. Probably pretty even with Diamond Dance difficulty in my experience
Enjoyment: 3/10 (The click pattern is fun. This version of the level is dumb, stupid and idiotically buffed so much its just unbearable. Also this is the unluckiest I've ever been with a level before sooo)
Forlorn Attempts: ~16000
Total yey click pattern attempts: somewhere in the 25000-30000 range
I never counted my deaths, I would be completely demoralized if I did (and would've lost consistency a ton taking breaks to count lol), but here are my estimates:
Deaths past 37%: Over 70 I'd guess
Deaths past 43%: probably about 35-40
Deaths past 50%: About 20
Worst Fail: 63%
This is probably fluke-able from like 40% lol
Attempts: 3070 i think
Enjoyment: no
Difficulty: Hard
ID: 91924547
Difficulty: harder than kadra and cyver is dancing, slightly easier than Midnight
Attempts: 1200 for x2, I have like 20k on this click pattern tho from other versions LOL
Enjoyment: 7.5/10, still a fun challenge imo
unsurprisingly, this sucks to play
Attempts: like 4700 but most of those are really old
Enjoyment: When doing runs its like 8/10, when playing from 0 its like a 3.5/10 at best, its really boring
Difficulty: insane demon lol. Its harder than malum because every attempt lasts an eternity
Attempts: 3900
Enjoyment: 3/10 (Would be 8/10 if it wasn't spam carried)
Difficulty: 15 star weekly challenge
Personal Difficulty: idk like a silver challenge, harder than Kadra and maybe like MIDNIGHT difficulty but its all from spam so idk and idc
first weekly challenge tho so that's cool ig
Initially this wasn't really anything special, I saw the initial PENUMBRA previews and thought the song would work great in a challenge level so I made this, but holy crap has it become so much more than that over the past few months.
This is the hardest challenge I plan on verifying. As in, I literally don't have any other challenges, out of the hundreds that I have made so far, that I think I will ever verify that's harder than this (Azure Dusk has been nerfed and is slightly easier than this, I will likely never verify unnerfed Azure Dusk because its like top 30 or 40 on the list lol).
I don't think I will even beat something of this caliber for probably a year or two to come. (Like 76-100 on EN and Sonic Wave are like the only two things I've been working on at all that are harder than this)
So yeah, this is it, my new hardest for another indefinite period of time.
Level ID: 91587242
Song (NONG): ΔXIUS LIИK - Iwillnǝvǝrlǝ†yøugø
youtu.be/WYi6wb9OJkY
Difficulty: no clue lol
Personal Difficulty: This is the hardest thing I've ever done by orders of magnitude, nothing I've ever done gets even within miles of this.
Attempts: 30,000 + ~3k lost attempts
Deaths past 50% (The first 50% is the utterly absurd part of the level so): 86%, 85%, 79%, 73%, 72%, 64%, 63%, 61%, 60%x10, 59%, 52%, 50%
Enjoyment: 6.5/10, absolutely brutal but gets disgustingly consistent at times, and the level is a blast to play when it is consistent so. The countless 60% deaths definitely hurt tho lol
I DIED AT 60% FIVE MORE TIMES AFTER MY 59.94% DEATH, THEN I JUST GET THIS RUN LOL
Attempts: 27000 + ~3k lost attempts
Difficulty: My hardest accomplishment and it isn't close
Enjoyment: 6 60% deaths make me want die
but at least I've kinda got god consistency now ig?
I got bored and decided to play the first insane demon that came to mind and this was it. I happened to get 70% as a fluke from 9% so I thought I might as well open obs and get content in while I'm at it
this was pathetically easy lol
attempts: idk I had like 100-200 old attempts from an ancient practice run so I'm just going to assume this took like 450 attempts because I wasn't counting lol
difficulty: literally auto
hardest part: 48-64 ufo by orders of magnitude that was literally 90% of the difficulty of the level, the rest of the difficulty was just learning the memory lol
enjoyment: 8/10 most I've enjoyed a level over 1 minute in length in actually probably a year LOL
This is Aqua Dance by Nucleus x3 / Cyver Dance by Nucleus x1.5 lol
attempts: probably about 5000 if you count all my aqua dance attempts
difficulty: easier than Midnight, harder than cCc, probably like Kadra difficulty?
worst deaths: 81, 83
enjoyment: 5/10, annoying but playable
id: 91178731
attempts: at least 2400, ik I have some lost attempts but i don't have a clue how many
difficulty: idk, hard to judge since all it is is just getting the click pattern down and boom you beat it lol
worst deaths: 78x1, 63x2
enjoyment: like 7/10, surprisingly fun and gets super consistent somehow
id: 91177307
60% is the hardest thing I've ever done.
I did the 32-100 a few months back so the run is outdated a bit, its probably slightly harder now but idc
Sorry about video quality, this level devours bitrate and I don't feel like recording with a million bitrate and obliterating my fps to do so lol
Attempts: 23500 + ~3k lost attempts
Difficulty: The 60% run is probably diamond dance difficulty, if not harder honestly
Full level is an Emerald Challenge, it is significantly harder than Acro Challenge based on my few thousand attempts of that.
Enjoyment: help/10 this is so ungodly brutal its hard to find it too much fun, consistency is lost literally instantly the moment you aren't playing a part and its pretty annoying. Nonetheless it feels so good to actually play the level when you aren't sucking so I guess it probably deserves like a 5/10 at least for that so far.
Also yes I'm rounding 59.94% up to 60%, its literally a frame difference idc lol
It was made I want to say either around or a bit before Malum and would've been by far my hardest challenge. Buuuuut I nerfed it a bit because it was stupid and dumb and ungodly annoying.
Ironically this is easier than Yuul sprint, another 1-2 second long challenge, but this was made long before I thought I could ever even begin to think I could play even a second of Yul gameplay lol
Attempts: like 350-400 maybe? few thousand on the old unnerfed tho from years back
no clue how hard this is, probably free tho especially since I nerfed the most annoying clicks lol
id:90813130
puts a lot of emphasis on low cps and timing rather than most gdsr challenges which usually have really annoying spam
I was dying to the 70s a ton for some reason and I thought for a moment to nerf it (which is why I was in the editor at the beginning of the vid), but then decided against it and reverted the changes. Then of course I 1 attempt it out of nowhere right after that because idk lol
attempts: 1400
difficulty: bronze challenge (probably low-mid end but idk)
enjoyment: idk like 7/10
id: 90688646
I accidently beat it in noclip accuracy today out of nowhere so I opened obs and rebeat it quick
Attempts: 1800 for noclip accuracy completion (add way more if you want to count actual attempts on this part from Unnerfed Yul), then + 300 for rebeat, so like 2100ish
idk how hard this is, its 4 120 frame perfects at pretty high cps in a funky click pattern
prob one of my harder challenges but idk where I'd put it
id:90687735
I forgot to record game audio so enjoy ORDER lol
This did not take long at all and I have no idea how lol
Ruthless Cage is a unique impossible level that features gameplay intended to only be beatable on 60fps. Similar to Kugel's Death Corridor, playing on higher fps results in most clicks becoming hrr frame perfects.
Unfortunately, the current version of the level has a few bugs that make it physically impossible (as obviously shown by the death counter) although I'm sure they will be ironed out eventually.
Was very surprised by the structure of the level compared to P-1
overall it was a interesting experience with some exceptionally difficult rooms, most notably the stalker room which was by far the hardest room besides Sisyphus himself for me
I made an error at the 2nd 60fps frame perfect as that click is physically impossible on 60fps but it did not highlight red.
This isn't related to Midnight or Azure Dusk in any way but it does follow the naming scheme
I don't know how hard this is but its way harder than Diamond Dance lol
Also the run I did (36%-86%) literally has like double the frame perfects of Midnight in its entirety LOL

youtube.com/c/LeTim
This run is harder than MIDNIGHT
This level is miles harder than Diamond Dance
Attempts: ~20k iirc
Wanted to get 36-100 since 85-100 is like auto gp by comparison but I need content lol
0-15 is auto, but 20-35 is hard enough where I don't consider this that close to beating the level despite basically having 36-100, so don't expect a completion any time soon
this is a parody level making fun of most GDSR challenges I've played lol
This is intentionally terrible in case it wasn't obvious
Enjoyment: 4.5/10 like basically all GDSR challenges, parts of it are super fun, but are littered with absolutely stupid gameplay randomly in between
Attempts: like 2400ish if you don't count the rebeat and all (I died to a bug at 84 that I patched out in the uploaded version)
Deaths past 55 (56 is the stupid chokepoint LOL): 56x6, 58, 65, 84 (technically 84 is beating it, since that death was due to a bug lol)
Difficulty: idk harder than most bronze ig but almost definitely not silver lol
Song: (nong) Edge of the World (NG song: catalyze), just go to like the Edge of the World extreme demon verification video it has the version of the song used
Also i forgot I had my mic's noise suppression on so it didn't pick up clicks LOL
Hopefully pretty soon I can return to some GD content but I've been struggling to do much stuff recently
Also as I said I accidently punched Minos with the Knuckleblaster at the start of the Minos Prime fight but I don't think it would have changed much about the rest of the fight
This was an incredibly fun challenge and if you are willing to grind out some attempts and really perfect some attack patterns I'd definitely recommend it
First half of the Minos Prime fight was really rough and Flesh Prison could have been a tiny bit cleaner but besides that this was a pretty good clear
Also I was in a call with my friends so that's why it sounds like I'm talking to people lol
For the types of games and experiences I enjoy playing the most, ULTRAKILL is essentially the perfect shooter for me. It's brutally challenging, extremely fast paced and has a quick and user friendly death system that doesn't push you out of the action for anymore than even a second.
P-1 Soul Survivor is the hardest level in the game by far due to having two of the hardest bosses in the game back to back and getting a P-Rank on the level is extra challenging as dying means a restart of the whole level, so you must beat both bosses back to back else you will fail to obtain P-rank. P-Ranking also requires you to complete the level in a fast and stylish manner, promoting constant weapon swapping and great performance in order to gain enough style points.
All in all, this was a great challenge and has cemented ULTRAKILL as probably one of my favorite games ever.
Yeah uh, I severely underrated this when I said "almost definitely harder than Diamond Dance" so uh, yeah this is probably like top 50 on the challenge list or something LOL

its like a hard challenge or something idk lol
This version is like superbuffed from older versions of the level so I might upload a nerfed version on my account so that its way more accessible and actually fun lol
Attempts: like 2900ish, its in the video lol
Those are across a lot of iterations of the level tho, but ultimately I verified probably the hardest version I had made, but also one of the most consistent
Enjoyment: 7/10, surprisingly fun, but consistency fluctuates aaallll over the place while playing it, sometimes you can just get past 50% every attempt or can't get past 20% in like 30 attempts lol
Difficulty: Honestly harder than Malum tbh
ID: 83328106
ID for nerfed version: 83328355
Its been a minute since I've played a Diamond Dance style challenge, mostly because I've not had as much fun with them more recently cuz they take a large toll on my hand when using the up-arrow key (which for me is essentially a requirement to use for DD style challenges) but this wasn't too bad despite the obvious insane chokepoint at the end of the level lol
Enjoyment: 6/10, never really got upset at it so it was alright ig lol
Difficulty: Decently difficult, definitely easier than Beginner Wave Challe by Elitetitan and stuff like that but I'd say its harder than Deadlocked Wave Buff by me
Attempts: 668 (definitely flukeable, just wasn't lucky at all and died at the end a lot lol, but in all fairness the last 2 clicks are like over half the difficulty so its not like I was expecting a fluke lol)
ID: 83297967
Probably going to improve this run sometime, like 85-100 (which would be the whole wave prior to this, but its really consistent so it shouldn't be tooooo bad), but improving it from there is gonna be VERY difficult as even adding another percent or so after that I think adds a 120 ship frame perfect soooo yeah
My goal is eventually to do 77-100 but that run is almost definitely harder than Ethereal Artifice soooooo lol
Attempts: probably around 10000 on this run (hard to tell since I have several copies of EN and have a lot of lost attempts, and I also play most parts of EN on this copy so my attempt count is really heavily skewed)
Difficulty: Hardest accomplishment uploaded on my channel (harder than Midnight and Precipitance)
A large majority of the inputs in this are 60 frame perfects (including all ship inputs, which I think are all frame perfect in this part of the level), with even a few 120 frame perfects or at the very least VERY close to 120
For my skillset specifically this might be harder or at least comparable to Diamond Dance (which I have a 0 death noclip accuracy run on, so I've sorta technically beaten it) and its also either slightly easier or comparable to 33-76 on Ethereal Artifice which is currently my best accomplishment (I never uploaded it though cuz I intended to improve on that run but never managed to)
Deaths 86-95x3 I think, maybe x4 (first ship frame perfect)
Enjoyment so far: 10/10 | This is the best level in the game
Yul is a very old project of mine that I've been trying to keep alive for as long as possible and I will be essentially remaking in 2.2.
This however, is the oldest copy I have of Yul (It's a version that exists between Preview 2 and 3) and is what I consider to be the official "Unnerfed" version, it has horrible gameplay, is incredibly imbalanced, and is borderline humanly impossible in difficulty!
So in the eternal wait for 2.2 I have chosen to begin decoration of the totally unnerfed version of Yul (with a 1.9-esque style) as I know I will never alter the gameplay of that version and I will be attempting to turn it into an ILL level.
Credit to LeTim [GD] for the frame perfect counter concept, go watch his videos, they're cool! youtube.com/c/LeTim
of course after completing the key maze once I got addicted to playing the part at faster speeds and finally got this run
I beat this at like 1.5x speed and 1.85x speed before trying 2x
Attempts: ~500 total (including attempts to the initially learn the key maze, and learn how to play it at progressively faster speeds, it really didn't take all that long surprisingly)
enjoyment: 8/10
difficulty: no clue lol, not comparable to most challenges I do
Also enjoy my reaction of me playing Acu for hours on end and getting far over and over again only to die at a part I was desperately hoping I wouldn't die at :D
Attempts: ~7500 (Actually really good since my last extreme was like 20k, although I could've definitely of had a shot at fluking this from like 6500)
Enjoyment: Uhhhhh, very very mixed
I wanted to upload this since I was going on a trip and knew I couldn't finish it for a few more days and I desperately need to upload some content
When I get back I'll try and beat this and get it out of the way, might do another extreme like Azurite or Cataclysm next
I never uploaded anything but I dumped nearly 30k attempts into Ethereal Artifice and got very close to some godly runs on it but never felt like they were good enough to upload, so if I go back to that sometime soon expect a crazy run on it or something that will probably dwarf all my other achievements by orders of magnitudes lol
Also considering going for Sakupen Hell sometime as a lot of it is kind of in my skillset the only issue is that it's atrocious to play so
i beat labor guys lets go
This is complete filler, I did this in like 30 minutes or something, and a lot of that was making the level work properly lol. I'm desperately trying to get a run on a level I've been practicing but due to its absurd difficulty I haven't been able to get the run I want yet and I don't want to upload anything on it until I get the run so lol
attempts: i have no idea lol, I spent so many attempts fixing issues with the level and testing really dumb stuff with the robot at the end (which is apparently borderline impossible on mouse for some reason, so I had to use arrow key for this, despite getting 77% on the ldm version with mouse looong before I actually beat the level)
I have probably over 1k, but if you don't count the times where I was messing around with how the robot worked at the end of the level its probably like 500 or 600 lol
difficulty: Probably like Exercise difficulty, mostly due to the robot lol, i'd say its definitely easier otherwise
enjoyment: like 7.5/10 or something, fun wave, but robot part lol
ID: 80335538
My big reaction is due to how unexpected getting that far was, my previous best on the level was a lucky 25% and getting any form of progress on this, even just an input or two, always kind of shocks me cuz getting past really anything in it just feels impossible
Sadly, 30% is kind of a wall in terms of progress and I don't think it will be anytime soon where I break it because of how ridiculously inconsistent this gameplay is due to its sheer difficulty.
As for the level itself, this is a 'prequel' to MIDNIGHT, and is planned to be my next biggest achievement in terms of challenges (But expect some non-challenge stuff pretty soon cuz I'm working on another list demon :D)
As for this level's difficulty, it is almost definitely harder than Diamond Dance, and is probably like MIDNIGHT x2 difficulty
Almost every click in the level is frame perfect on 60fps and it has a couple 120fps frame perfects as well
Attempts: ~11000 total (a large majority of those are from older and easier versions however)
Song: NONG: Azure of the Horizon by Fractal Dreamers
attempts: like 500ish relatively new attempts, but several thousand on this wave in total across several versions of it
worst fails: 55, 57, 60
enjoyment: 5.5/10 ig, very neutral on it
difficulty: idk, could be an insane challenge, not sure, probably like very hard challenge tho, I'd say its definitely a lot harder than when I buffed deadlocked slightly
ID: 79993978
This really wasn't that hard I just spent way too long learning the click pattern and got super duper unlucky
I had a death at the last click within 500 attempts of playing this (which could've been even lower tbh), and just got unlucky and spent another 500 attempts only to get 7 or so more deaths at the last click before finally beating it
This is very flukable tbh, I just got unlucky because its me lol
Enjoyment: 6/10 (I hate having to use my up arrow for challenge levels cuz it starts to hurts my fingers sometimes but hey, at least this got relatively consistent)
Deaths: 43x5 or 6, 48x2 or 3, 49x3 or 4, 52x2 (Yeah I don't remember most of my deaths and I don't feel like looking through my 15 minutes of footage and counting XD, I know it was around 8 deaths at the last click tho)
Difficulty: easier than any bronzes, old yey difficulty probably, totally different skillset tho
Attempts: ~764,800
Difficulty: Hardest achievement by far, harder than a top 10 demon for sure
Enjoyment: Happy April Fools :)
yes this is literally just 8 seconds of AoD gameplay lol
attempts: 590 attempts ig, some were spent on building the level and making sure it worked right lol
difficulty: idk, a hard challenge? new yey difficulty probably, way easier than Transient? This fit my skillset super well actually so idk about even that lol
Deaths: 50x2, 70 (in noclip accuracy)
yeah I literally did 1 attempt in noclip and got 70 immediately lol
ID: 79008925
difficulty: hard challenge, easier than new yey probably
attempts: like 450ish ig
challenge I made cuz I saw a buffed deadlocked wave recently and was curious how much I could buff it until I couldn't beat it anymore
That lead to me creating this, going through the struggles with nerfing, buffing and balancing this, and then finally realizing that the ending to this level is stupidly insane from 0 for some reason and is a crime against humanity
Attempts: probably ~6000 or more, several thousand more if you count all decode wave attempts lol
Difficulty: Shoot me (might be harder than Malum but that might be experience + skillset talking rather than objective difficulty rating lol)
Enjoyment: 1.5/10
Deaths: probably about 50 past 60%, around 30 past 70% (unluckiest I've ever been on probably any level in the game lol)
This has been nerfed and buffed a ton, so my difficulty rating and enjoyment are heavily skewed, this version is probably a bit easier than the hardest version of this I've ever had but this level is way to stupid for me to verify some stupid 'harder than kadra' spam inconsistency based trash so lol
I'm really glad I did this today tho for decode day lol
ID for suffering: 78717481
Attempts: 750 (I was expecting it to take like 400, but ending chokepoints screwed me over some)
Difficulty: Rock GDSR
My Difficulty: in between new and old yey difficulty, probably slightly easier than Cyver Challenge
Enjoyment: 9/10, ending has a ton of chokepoints but this is such a fun challenge
Worst Deaths: 65x2, 78 (2nd last click), 79 (last click)
I cannot believe I managed to pull this off, I honestly didn't expect it at all but once I beat AA in like 10 minutes and then beat Turska not to long later I decided why not beat a 3rd one, so I did, and then later that night I got bored and grinded Kadra, and somehow someway beat it
I have videos of each of these individually where I have my attempts and thoughts on each level, so watch those while your at it

Bronze challenges can be found here:

Also I haven't really asked for subs or likes before but I plan on doing these kind of things a lot more often now and if you'd like to see more please subscribe, I want to hit 500 subs hopefully sometime this year so lets see if we can pull that off.
9 bronze challenges done! I have the bronze title thing now technically!
Also another fun fact, I technically in a way beat Diamond Dance today as well, although I forgot to record it and thus only have a quick 30 second clip of me getting a 0 death noclip run that lacks clicks, so I don't really count it nor does it really feel uploadable tbh (probably going to beat a buffed version later)
Attempts: 2200, spent about 600ish before today learning the level, grinded it out tonight and beat it
Difficulty: Bronze GDSR, Legacy List Challenge
My Difficulty: My 2nd hardest challenge, I got insanely lucky with this. This is probably only slightly easier than MIDNIGHT and it is a miracle I did it in so few attempts, that also means I can confidently say MIDNIGHT is low legacy list
Enjoyment: 8/10 actually really great challenge, fit my skillset well and I got stupid lucky on the ball, this could've gone way more south if I got unlucky
Worst Deaths: 62, 68, yeah insanely lucky
Difficulty: Bronze GDSR
My Difficulty: idk easier than AA and Turska, probably like Challenge EX difficulty or something
Enjoyment: 6/10, pretty meh, but didn't suck so I guess I won't trash it at all, but yeah
