1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Restoration : Americas First Production Front Wheel Drive Car! Gregs Restorations 2024-01-31 | Hey viewers! Thanks for watching the restoration of this 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado V8 restoration. This was Americas first production front wheel drive automobile as the predecessor of the Cord 810/812 that was built back in the late 1930s but was not a production car. Factory red metallic paint with a red on red interior. The vehicle is sporting a Oldsmobile Rocket 425ci V8 with GM Turbo - Hydromatic automatic transmission with about 385hp. The vehicle was famous for its trans axle front wheel drive, unique styling points, and its 7 shock absorbers. One of my favorite things about this car is the the unique built in floor liner tray. The restoration consisted of a full frame off restoration due to how badly rotted the frame was which took just over a year to restore. Toyota always had frame issues especially up here in the north east "New England" where salt roads and wet/ snow are present. The project consisted of exterior paint overhaul, full drivetrain restoration, new donor frame, stainless brake lines, brand new engine, transmission and t/case and so much more. The car was a true New England Barn find in Massachusetts with only 23k miles on the vehicle when found. The mice had gotten the best of this car but was able to repair everything but was very challenging. This project consisted of brake repair, engine repair, powder coating, exhaust repair, interior cleaning, interior restoration, new wheels and tires, heating / cooling system repair and so much more This 3000Gt vr4 had been sitting in the garage off the road since 1993 but is a special limited edition car because of the twin turbo option and active aero system which made it a true track car that you could buy new from the factory. This vehicle came from the factory with a citrus poly green "high-vis" paint with reflective decals, upgraded high-output alternator, factory Meyers 8 foot plow with optional tailgate sander, all time 4 wheel drive, front power disc brakes, aux lighting, 360 V8 with automatic transmission, mud & snow tires, and much more. What's so rare about this truck is its a factory step side bed w150, most sno-commanders were 3/4 tons and 1 ton trucks. We did not do a full restoration on this truck but enough preventive maintenance and rust prevention work to keep the truck up and running so the customer can enjoy using it as a truck, towing trailers, putting wood in the bed, plowing snow, etc... AMF 508 Pedal Car Tow Truck Restoration Gregs Restorations 2023-01-12 | Thanks for viewing our restoration on this 1963 AMF 508 Pedal car fire truck restoration that we converted into a vintage Tow truck wrecker. This vehicle was a 1960s pedal car toy that was sold for children to ride around there yard with and have fun before modern technology. The restoration took just over 2 weeks to complete and was a lot of fun to restore. Everything that was beyond repair was purchased new such as the windshield, wheels, rubber tires, bell, steering components and wrecker tow truck boom. Most of the parts were purchased from Pedalcar.com. It was painted vintage white and hand pinstriped G&R towing after our shop mascot the 1934 ford BB tow truck. We raffled off the toy at our spring annual car show / swap meet in Barre Massachusetts as a door prize.

The vehicle is sporting a set of Shredder Black Rhino Wheels, Toyo Open Country M/T, GM Performance 430 HP LS3 V8 engine with advanced adaptors bellhousing mated to a H55F factory Toyota 5 speed transmission with electric emergency brake. The vehicle has been fully customized with Vintage Air Air Conditioning, Dakota Digital Gauge Cluster, Duel stainless exhaust, Warn Locking hubs, Retro Manufacturing sound system called retro sound with hidden speakers, Cool Cruisers of Texas Tub and Front Bumper paired with a Warn 8274 Warn winch, KC HiliTis LED fog lights as well as rear search lights. The headlights are also modern LED 6" universal lights offered for many vehicles. The suspension is a 4" suspension lift with Bilstein shocks from Cool Cruisers of Texas as well. The body was painted with Sherwin Williams Ultra series basecoat and clearcoat with raptor lined floor. The rear bumper is an aftermarket tire carrier from Kaymar. 1996 Ford Bronco Restoration Gregs Restorations 2022-12-12 | Thanks for viewing our video on this 1996 Ford Bronco restoration. The Ford Bronco lived most of its life in the salt belt of New England (Massachusetts) and was very rusty. The restoration underwent a 1+ year restoration with many of new parts such as rocker panels, quarter panels, front fenders and chrome bumpers. The interior was restored with brown leather and a custom sound system was installed along with a soft topper soft top and roll cage for added safety. The Bronco is stock height due to height restrictions in the family's garage but its setup on a set of oversized BFgoodrich all terrain tires on American racing wheels. 1971 SNO JET SS 396 SNOWMOBILE RESTORATION Gregs Restorations 2022-12-06 | Hey everyone, Winter is here at Greg's Restorations! Thanks for viewing the restoration of this "barn find" 1971 SnoJet SS 396 Snowmobile restoration we have just completed. The restoration took about 1 year to complete on & off and was overall a cool project. The entire snowmobile was taken down to the bare chassis, sandblasted, bodyworked and painted with Sherwin Williams Automotive single stage paint. The fuel tank had to be repaired due to rust on the inside was the hardest challenge of the project. We did not rebuild the original Hurth engine due to customer request but it ran beautiful with no issues. The Snowmobile was purchased new by the owners grandfather back in the 1970s and is still in the family to this day in Wisconsin. One of a kind 1971 Toyota Landcruiser FJ55 Gregs Restorations 2022-12-05 | Thanks for viewing the 1971 Toyota Landcruiser V8 swapped FJ55 restoration on this Martha's Vineyard summer vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a Chevrolet Performance 327 V8 out of an older muscle car that was swapped in before we did any work to the vehicle. We did not fully restore this vehicle but the FJ55 is a true survivor and very rare to see an old piggy like this one that is not in a junkyard. 1971 Custom Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 Restoration Gregs Restorations 2022-11-02 | Thanks for viewing the restoration of this Custom Toyota Landcruiser FJ-40 resto mod. The FJ40 restoration took over 3000 hours to build within 3 years time. The vehicle is sporting a Chevrolet Performance LS3 V8 swap with advanced adapters kit mated to a H55F factory Toyota 5 speed transmission. The Landcruiser has tons of custom subtle features that make it unique and its own from the custom cold air intake, custom ceramic coated exhaust headers, Stainless Steel duel exhaust system, Warn 8274 winch, CCOT front winch bumper, Karmar rear bumper, Custom machined Black rhino wheels with OEM FJ62 center caps, Toyo Open Country Tires, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, Vintage Air air conditioning system, 4 inch suspension lift, Bilstein shocks, Coolcruisers Of Texas steel body Tub, KC Daylighter LED Fog lights, LED headlights, LED Taillights, Raptor Lined spray on bedliner interior and much more. Two of my favorite things about this build is the push button start and electric emergency brake system it has. The Landcruiser was debuted at SEMA 2022 this year and placed top 12 in Battle Of The Builders (Top 3 Off road & 4 wheel drive class). 1964 Kaiser Jeep Forward Control M677 Restoration Gregs Restorations 2022-11-02 | Thanks for viewing our video of this Custom 1964 Kaiser Jeep Forward Control M677 4 wheel drive restoration restomod that took over 5 years to build starting in 2017. The vehicle was found in Northern Alabama and was shipped up to our restoration facility in Rutland, Massachusetts. The vehicle is based off a forward control Jeep FC-170 & FC-150 but is a double cab that was a factory custom order for the Marines and Navy and was about 400 ever built which makes this vehicle extremely rare, today only about 50 known to existence. The original drivetrain was a Cerlist 3 cylinder supercharged Diesel engine with about 80 horse power that was a complete failure but later in its life was pulled out I believe in the 1980's and a Ford 6 cylinder was installed out of a Ford Maverick. We installed a 4.0L Jeep Fuel injected 6 cylinder engine with automatic transmission out of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee as well as the entire drive train. The vehicle has upgraded Dana axles front & rear with disc brakes, Performance header with ceramic coated custom exhaust system, aluminum radiator mounted in the bed, Lifted about 4 inches over stock 3 link front coil suspension, period correct Rancho shocks, Electric power steering, LED Headlights, Custom bumpers with a Warn 8274 Winch up front, Bfgoodrich Mud Terrain tires with Detroit steel wheels. The body was left with its natural patina paint but was a very rusty candidate to start with with over 1 year of metal work. The interior was completely restored with distressed brown leather, custom dash with Autometer gauges, F150 rear foldup bench seat, and color matched raptor lined floor for a durable finish. The M677 is setup for off-roading and overlanding with its custom bed mounted tent setup from Overland vehicle systems. Such an amazing vehicle to drive now with modern power. The vehicle started off its life as a 1983 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper and the customer wanted to build something more powerful for todays driving use. The Subaru 2.5L engine swap is the perfect for for this vehicle. The vehicle took about 6 months to build to its current state but was difficult finding parts due to limited supply during the covid pandemic. 1971 Jeep J-2000 Gladiator Tonka Truck 4x4 Restoration Gregs Restorations 2022-06-28 | Thanks for viewing the restoration of this 1971 Jeep J-2000 pickup truck 4x4 4 wheel drive restoration. The off-road 4 wheel drive pickup truck is a true survivor and has the perfect patina paint on it and we named this truck the Tonka Truck due to its characteristics. The truck is sporting a Buick Dauntless factory 350 V8 engine with 3 speed transmission, factory power steering, drum brakes, 4 inch suspension lift, warn 8274 winch on custom winch bumper, custom black powder coated Roll bar with KC search lights, KC daylighter front fog lights, American racing wheels with BFgoodrich mud terrain tires, rancho shocks, Distressed brown leather interior, custom sound system and much more. The truck restoration wasn't a full frame off restoration but everything was serviced and restored to new within budget reasons. The bed was taken off and the frame and running gear was wire wheeled and painted with por15. The underside of the bed was prepped correctly and undercoated with period correct asphalt rubberized undercoating. RESTORED! 1984 Toyota Pickup Sunrader Factory 4x4 Camper Gregs Restorations 2022-05-20 | Thanks for viewing our latest restoration video of this 1984 Toyota Pickup Truck Sunrader Factory 4x4 Overland Camper. This vehicle took about 1 year on & off to restore. This vehicle is extremely rare and 1 of 17 known to existence being a "FACTORY" 4WD truck. The truck came stock with the legendary bullet proof 22r 4 cylinder engine with 5 speed transmission as well as the solid front axle that all toyota owners love. Toyota stopped installing solid axles in toyota pickups in 1986 for better ride quality as well as coming out with the fuel injected 22re engine in 1985. The truck was a body on restoration and was stripped down, body worked, rust repaired, primed and repainted. The hardest part of the vehicle restoration was the fiberglass body restoration and obtaining a few very rare parts. Factory decals were made to OEM Toyota spec and installed to give the camper a factory 80s look. The camper truck will be used for cross country trips as a snowboarding hangout and a summer camper in the woods of northern Maine. Brians 1981 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 Restoration! Gregs Restorations 2022-02-11 | Thanks for viewing the video of Brian's 1981 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. The vehicle restoration on this K5 Blazer truck took about 1.5 years to complete. The restoration started out as a mechanical restoration only but the customer wanted to go all the way for a full restoration. We did not pull the vehicle off the frame because it was so clean, probably one of the cleanest rust free trucks we have ever worked on. The Blazer came from Florida where the customer purchased it from the second owner and brought back to Massachusetts where he lives. The restoration consisted of installing a rebuilt transmission, 350 Chevrolet performance engine from summit racing, Holley EFI, engine bay overhaul, chrome re-plating, BFgoodrich tires, wheel restoration, interior upholstery, Full paint & body restoration products supplies by Sherwin Williams automotive, Skyjacker Suspension lift, Brush guard installation with KC daylighters, custom restored original sound system with upgraded speakers, warn locking hub conversion, frame undercoating and so much more.
