60 AIRPLANE LANDINGS & DEPARTURES in 70 Minutes - BOEING 747, B767-200, B777 ... (4K) Cargospotter 2024-05-21 | 60 Airplane landings & Departures in 70 Minutes, today with aeroplanes only filmed at Maastricht Airport in the netherlands. I visited Maastricht last weekend to film the Boeing 747-400 of Rom Cargo and a rare B767-200 of Skytaxi Poland. The B747 is a frequent visitor at Maastricht right now and they connect the dutch airport with Hongkong. They operate up to three times/week. On the way from Hongkong to Maastricht they stop at Sharjah to refuel the aircraft. Rom Cargo recently added a second B747-400 to its fleet which was stored without engines at Leipzig for over a year. The aircraft was ferried to Fujairah abot two month ago and I assume it` s getting maintenance at the Airport in the Emirates. The B767-200 of Skytaxi Poland departed about an hour after the B747 and it` s quite rare to see the short version of the B767 still in operation. The polish airline currently operates two B762 and one B763. Here in Maatricht it operated a cargo charter flight to Poland. Another interesting guest was the orange Airbus A320 of Jetlines which is based at Maastricht for the european summer season. The canadian A320 helps out Corendon during their summer business. 80 LANDINGS & TAKEOFFs in 60 MINUTES - B747, A380, AN12 & more (4K) Cargospotter 2024-05-17 | 80 Landings and Takeoffs in 60 Minutes with some special aviation highlights. The first Boeing 747 of Singapore Airlines can be seen arriving on the Polderbaan at Amsterdam during stormy crosswind conditions. The pilots of the Jumbo Jet had to deal with wind speeds up to 50 knots while landing their planes on the most famours runway at Amsterdam Schiphol. There are no fences around the runway and the airport area is only seperated from the normal area by a small river. During sunny days you can often see up to 200 planespotters observing the airplanes during the evening hours.I also included an Airbus A380 of Lufthansa which did a test flight with a wing wave maneuver at Leipzig. Lufthansa recently reactivated most of their A380` s because the long haul aircrafts are needed due to a delay of the Boeing 777X. Even the Boeing 747-400`s which should have left the Lufthansa fleet already are still operating for the german airline on a daily basis. ILYUSHIN IL76 DEPARTURE during BAD WEATHER with AMAZING SOUND (4K) Cargospotter 2024-05-14 | This Ilyushin IL76 of Zetavia visited Eindhoven Airport on a cargo charter flight. The weather during its departure was quite bad but I enjoyed filming this classic IL76 jetliner during these weather conditions. The sound was incredible becasue most IL76 Freighters still use the classic engines. There are some modified Ilyushin engines which almost sound like an Airbus. Silk Way and VDA use a few of them. My favorite airplanes are the Douglas Dc-8 and IL76TD. Whenever one of these aircrafts show up in my area I drive to the airport and try to film them. I have to admit the Dc8 has become a rare sight since Nasa retired its last Dc-8 last month and there are just three Dc-8 which are currently active. The IL76 on the other hand is an aircraft which can be seen quite ofter if you are in africa or the middle east. Lots of IL76 are based in the UAE and they even provide maintenance for these classic planes at Fujairah and Sharjah.I also added other Il76TD aircrafts I have filmed within the past years. The Aviaocon Zitotrans Il76 which passed quite low above my head was a great sight aswell. BOEING 747 DEPARTURE with a LONG TAKEOFF RUN (4K) Cargospotter 2024-05-10 | This Boeing 747 of SF Airlines departed at Liege Airport with destination Ezhou in China. The aircraft was heavy loaded and that` s why the takeoff run was quite long. I was a bit surprised because normally the SF B747-400 Freighters rotate quite early. I was quite satisfied with the result because the Jumbo Jet rotated right in front of my lense. Shun Feng is an airline from China which mainly operates fot Alibaba which is the chinese version of amazon. SF currrently operates around 10 flights / week to Liege, including 4 weekly flights with the B747-400 Freighter and about 6 weekly flights with a Boeing 767-300 Freighter. The B767 has to do a fuel stop in Karaganda. On it` s way home to china the B767-300 flies nonstop for 13 hours which is quite remarkable. I assume it` s empty on its way back home and that`s why the fuel consumption is much lower.I also filmed some other planes that day at Liege, including a few B747` s of ASL Airlines and Challenge Cargo. BOEING 747 ONLY - B747 DEPARTURE of a NEW B747 OPERATOR (4K) Cargospotter 2024-05-03 | We have a new Boeing 747 operator in the skies and as far as I know it` s also the first B747 ever registired in bulgaria. Compass Air Cargo is a company from bulgaria which usually operated a fleet of Boeing 737 Freighters. Most of them were based at Leipzig to operate flights for the DHL Group. Last autumn they added a first B747-400 Freighter which used to be an ACT Cargo aircraft. At first they operated a few flights for Qatar Cargo until they showed up at Liege in Belgium three month ago to operate flights for Challenge Cargo I assume. Yesterday the aircraft headed to Istanbul SAW where they will to some maintenance works. I hope it will return to Liege because I have to admit that I realy like this livery.I also filmed some other 747` s, including a B747-400 of Aerotrans Cargo and a National B747-400 Freighter. As you can see summer is about to start and the heat haze season is already beginning. The image isn` t as clear as it usually is and that` s caused by the warm weather. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - AIRBUS A380, yellow B757, An12 - Airplane highlights of April (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-30 | 60 Minutes pure aviation, today with the aviation highlights of April 2024. Condor has repainted several Boeing 757-300`s in the new livery and I finally managed to film the yellow B757 in decent light conditions. The B757` s of Condor will leave the fleet after this summer season, which is quite sad. Most of them will be replaced by newly ordered A321 Neos. The Boeing 767` s which were a part of the Condor fleet for almost three decades have been replaced by more modern A330 Neos already.I also filmed an AN12 this month at Geilenkirchen Airport. The airport is known for being the homebase of the B707 Awacs aircraft and it` s always a pleasure to visit this unique airport. Watching a B707 with classic engines in 2024 is inredible. The AN12 operates a cargo charter flight from greece and departed empty to Liege in Belgium.The A380 of Emirates is back on the noon rotation and it` s great to see the massive whale again during daylight. AIRBUS A380 LANDING ON A WET RUNWAY + BOEING 757 smokey CROSSWIND LANDING (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-26 | This Airbus A380 of Emirates made a go around during its first approach due to a heavy rainshower but I wasn` t able to film it because the visibility dropped almost to zero when it happened. 15 Minutes later the A380 returned and the weather cleared up a bit. Due to the rain shower the runway was quite wet and the A380 made an impressive landing on runway 23L at Düsseldorf. The water on the ground was thrown around while the A380 deployed its reversers after touchdown. Quite impressive sight! After the A380 I changed my position to film the departure of the A380. Currently we have typical "April-weather" here in europe which means that the weather situation basicly changes every 15 minutes. I noticed blue sky was approaching and the A380 departing during beautiful light conditions.Also note the yellow B757-300 of Condor arriving with some crosswinds on runway 23L. You can see that the crew was adding some thrust to deal with the crosswinds. Black smoke came out of the right engine every once in a while. BLUE BOEING 747 DEPARTURE - B747 LONG TAKEOFF RUN (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-23 | This amazing looking Boeing 747 of National Airlines paid a visit to Cologne Airport. The stunning livery of this aircraft always impresses me and in my opinion it is one of the best looking B747 liveries around. This day the main runway at Cologne was closed and all aircrafts had to depart from the smaller runway 24. The National Jumbo headed to Louisville in the USA and used almost the entire runway which has a length of 2450 meters. National currently operates a fleet of 7 B747`s, 1 A330 and 1 B757. They mainly operate cargo charter flights around the entire world.I also included some other planes I filmed at Cologne, including a former Thai Cargo B747-400 Freighter. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - AIRBUS A380, B747, Beluga - Special painted planes only (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-19 | 60 Minutes pure aviation, today with the best special liveries I have ever seen. The Airbus A380 in the special turtle livery is definitly the star of this video. Three years ago I drove almost 400km to Hamburg Finkenwerder to film the first test flight of this stunning looking orange turtle A380. The aircraft performed a two hour test flight near Hamburg and returned to the airport afterwards. In total All Nippon Airways has three A380` s and all of them are mainly operating between Japan and Hawai. The sea turtle "Honu" is the most commonly encountered sea turtle species in Hawai and that` s the reason why All Nippon decided to paint the three A380` s in a special turtle livery.I also included other special liveries in this video, including the Airbus Beluga which I also filmed at Hamburg Finkenwerder. The unique looking aircraft usually flies between airbus factories in europe to transport new airplane parts to the places where they have to be. The aircraft` s nickname "Beluga Whale" has been painted on the belly of the aircraft and the livery now resembles a beluga whale. Also note the stunning looking Boeing 747 of National Airlines which has a red B747 in its fleet to celebrate the anniversary of the airline. National exists since 25 years and they started operating with a fleet of Doulgas Dc-8`s. RED BOEING 747 DEPARTURE - B747 FAST ROTATION (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-16 | This stunning looking Boeing 747 of National Airlines is a former firefighter plane and it still has the livery of its previous operator "Global Super Tanker". National bought the plane, removed the fire fighting equipment and added the aircraft to their fleet of B747`s. The stunning airplane operated a flight to Belgrad that day and as you can see it departed quite fast. We were lucky because the crew had a chance to to an intersection takeoff which just means that it didn` t have to backtrack the runway and pass us planespotters who were waiting at the end of the runway. National currently operates a fleet of multiple B747-400 freighters, a single A330-200 and a Boeing 757-200. They mainly operate cargo charters around the entire world and since I am a hugh B747 fan I always enjoy seeing their great painted B747 aircrafts in front of my camera.I also added some other special planes which visited Liege, including some B747` s from Kalitta which operated a few charter flights. On their way back home from Poland Kalitta used Liege as a crew base for a while. Nowadays we don` t see them that often anymore and they also stopped operating out of Amsterdam. THE FASTEST BOEING 777 TAKEOFF Cargospotter 2024-04-14 | #shorts This Boeing 777 performed a super fast takeoff while departing from Maastricht Airport last year. The aicraft was only flying for about 20 minutes because its destination was Enschede. The day before the aircraft had to divert to maastricht due to fog in Enschede.
35 Minutes of AVIATION - AIRBUS A380, RARE Boeing 767 + CH47 CHINOOK Helictoper (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-12 | The Airbus A380 is finally back on the noon flight and I headed to the airport to film one of its first daylight arrivals of 2024. We had some interesting visitors at Düsseldorf during the last weeks. The highlight was definitly the Boeing 767-300 of MIAT Mongolian Airlines which came all the way from Ulan Bator in Mongolia to Düsseldorf for maintenance works. The aircraft stayed at Düsseldorf for 5 days before returning to its homebase in Ulan Bator. I assume this B767 should be one of the most unique highlights of the year at Düsseldorf.Another surprising visitor was the CH47 Chinook helicopter which visited Düsseldorf on a training flight. Lately we have seen a few of these helicopters at DUS and they usually show up unexpected. I was at the airport to film an Airbus A340-300 of Lufthansa when I suddenly noticed these massive helicopters on the horizon. They didn` t even approach like normal helicopters. They used the normal approach path of airplanes which were gliding down the ILS of runway 23R. The dutch airport had some special visitor within the past years and I sumed up the best airplanes which visited the small airport near the german boarder during the last years. The first aircraft show here is an Ilyushin IL62 Freighter. Currently Rada Airlines is the only operator of the IL62 Cargo and they operate two aircrafts. They also bought two pax IL62 but only for parts. They recently the former Republic of Gambia IL62 to an airport in Belarus for spare parts. The sound of this Ilyushin is incredible.I also ejoyed the size comparison between the Ilyushin and the Boeing 747-400 Freighter while it was taxing to its parking position. Maastricht used to be a great place it you are interested in Boeing 747` s. There was a time in 2021/2022 when we had up to 7 B747` s on a daily basis at the airport. Currently only Rom Cargo is still flying to MST with B747-400 aircrafts. BOEING 767 GO AROUND during a STORMY DAY at Amsterdam Schiphol (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-05 | A stormy day at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport caused this Boeing 767 of Latam Cargo to initiate a go around. The aircraft returned about 15 minutes later for a second approach attempt and landed safely. Daily business for these pilots and especially Amsterdam Schiphol is know for its stormy days during the fall/winter season. The B767 was just about to finish a cargo flight from Miami while wind gusts up to 55 knots caused some trouble for the pilots.I also filmed some other planes arriving at Schiphol during that day. Due to the changing weather, the runway was quite wet sometimes and the reverse of the aircrafts sometimes caused nice effects while the water on the ground was thrown around. The Boeing 787 of Kenya did a wonderful crosswind landing right in front of my camera and the bright beacon light beneath the B787 looked quite spectacular while it almost disappeared in the water fog.Also the crew of the Airbus A380 did a fantastic job that day. They managed to land the massive whale without any issues during these stormy weather conditions at Amsterdam that day. BOEING 707 TOUCH&GO WITH AMAZING SOUND + AN12 DEPARTURE (4K) Cargospotter 2024-04-02 | This Boeing 707 performed several Touch&Goes at Geilenkirchen last week. It` s crazy to see these classic Boeing 707´s operating almost daily out of an airport in germany in 2024. These Awacs planes are based at Geilenkirchen and they often do touch and go training flights to train new pilots. The characteristic smoke trail of the classic jetliner looks quite amazing in the head on perspective. Also note the massive radar on the top of the plane which allows the crew to observe the ground from high flightlevels. I didn` t show up at the airport for the B707. An AN12 was expected to arrive from Athen and that` s why I was there. You can the see the AN12 right after the B707 clip. I always wanted to film this classic propeller plane from the "behind - the runway" - perspective and I finally did it. It was quite a smoker - parade last week in geilenkirchen. Seeing an AN12 and a B707 from the 1960`s at the same airport with a few minutes in 2024 is quite crazy. It is possible. 60 Minutes pure aviation, today with the aviation highlights of March 2024. Somehow I managed to film a B727-200 at Niederrhein Weeze Airport this month. The aircraft, operated by T2 Aviation operated a test flight from the UK to Weeze Airport in germany and departed back home to the UK a day later. Crazy to see such a beautiful classic trijet in 2024. There are just two active 727` s in europe and even in the rest of the world they are slowly getting rare. The B727 wasn` t the only highlight that month. I also visited Liege Airport to film a B747-200 classic of Geo Sky and an AN124 of ADB. The classic B747 did some regular flights to Liege but it looks like the day when I filmed it was the last time it visited Liege. I hope it` s coming back next winter. It` s a great pleasure to see a classic Jumbo Jet in 2024 and there are just about 10 of them still flying in the world. Geo Sky is the only operator which frequently uses them on flights to europe.Also check out the B747-400 Freighter of FlyMeta which used almost the entire runway at Liege for another cargo run to Africa. BOEING 747 LANDING + DEPARTURE - 20 Minutes of Aviation at LIEGE (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-26 | The Boeing 747 is a unique looking at wonderful plane. In this video I would like to show you one of the most amazing B747 situations I have ever filmed. Half of the airport was covered in fog and the on the other half of the airport the sun was shining. That resulted in the B747 departing on runway 04R during sunshine but while accelerating on the runway the Jumbo Jet reached the fog and disappeared. You can see the jet emerging from the fog field and appearing above it. This was on the of the craziest weather conditions I ever whitnesed.Another highlight was the green B747-400 Freighter of Air ACT Cargo. ACT is the only B747 operator in turkey right now and they operate a fleet of 4 B747` s. 40 BIG PLANE LANDINGS at AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL - Boeing 747, B777, A330 ... (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-22 | 40 big plane landings at Amsterdam Schiphol on the famous Polderbaan. KLM Cargo is the last dutch operator of the Boeing 747 and I assume the airline is sadly already looking for a replacement. Amsterdam Schiphol has plans to ban the B747` s from Schiphol airport due to new noise regulations from 2026. We have to enjoy the B747` s as long they are still around. KLM Cargo is connected to Martinair Cargo and they mainly operate cargo flights between south america and Amsterdam with a stop at Miami. Currently Schiphol is still a great place if you are interested in Boeing 747`s. There are still various operators like Singapore, Atlas Air, Air China Cargo, China Airlines and many more. Last year I was able to film the beautiful red B747 of National Airlines which showed up at Amsterdam after a shorts flight from Poland. We were quite lucky with the runway because it was expected to arrive on the center runway but they changed it last second and the 50 planespotters which were waiting for the Jumbo Jet at the Polderbaan were quite happy.Especially during the evening light conditions it` s a pleasure to film planes at Amsterdam Schiphol. (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-15 | 80 Minutes pure aviation, today with some aviation highlights of my planespotting journey. We ll start this video with a special Airbus A310 of the spanish government which visited Maastricht Airport for a paint job last year. Although the aircraft is quite old it is still doing a great job. The Airbus didn` t even get another paint scheme, they just feshed up the old livery with some new paint. Another highlight is the Airbus Beluga which recently became availabe for charter companies. Normally this special built planes only fly between the airbus factory to bring new Airbus parts to the places where they have to be. This week an Airbus Beluga brought a satelite from Toulouse to the USA and to get there they had to do three fuel stops. Obviously the Beluga doesn` t have the best fuel consumption especially when compared to other modern aircrafts.I also included some Boeing 747` s I filmed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Liege. The B747 is still one of my favorite aircrafts and I always enjoy watching these massive planes rotate in front of my camera lense. Liege is the place to be if you are interested in B747` s. BOEING 747 DEPARTURE with a LONG TAKEOFF RUN + B747-200 CLASSIC (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-12 | This Boeing 747 departed from Liege Airport on runway 22L with destination Accra and the rotation was perfectly timed. The aircraft lifted of right in front of my camrea lense with tons of cargo loaded heading to Africa. Fly Meta is a rather new airline which mainly operates flight for Network Cargo at Liege. That` s why the aircraft is usually flying on the typical EU - Africa routes which are served by Network Aviation. The fleet of Network Cargo has increased quite fast within the last two years. Besides the two Jumbo Jets whith already flew for Network/Astral they added another former JetOneX aircraft and the FlyMeta B744 also joined the fleet for a minimum time of two years. Fly Meta has a base of operations in Hongkong and the airline will add Boeing 777 Freighters soon.It was a splendid day at Liege, especially because the wonderful Boeing 747-200 Classic of GeoSky also showed up while I was there to film. Sadly it was the last flight of the classic Geo Sky Jumbo until today and I am not sure if they will return. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - AIRBUS A380 ONLY - A380 Go Around, Landing, Departure ... (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-08 | 60 Minutes pure Aviation, today only with one of the biggest planes in the world - the Airbus A380. The A380 is the biggest plane which visits my local airport Düsseldorf and that` s why I always enjoy filming this big whale in action. Emirates offers 14 weekly flights between Dubai and Düsseldorf and one of the daily flights is operated by the A380. On the other flight they use a Boeing 777-300. During the upcoming summer season Emirates will use the A380 again on the noon rotation which will allow us planespotters to film the Airbus during daylight again. Currently it operates on the evening flight during darkness.I filmed the first clip in this video at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport during a stormy day. The A380 had to abort the landing due to wind gusts up to 55 knots. The second approach was perfect and no wind gust interrupted the landing. The go around procedure at Schiphol is quite interesting because the aircrafts have to turn right immediatly to avoid any issues with other aircrafts at Schiphol which arrive or depart on one of the six runways at the dutch airport. Of cours I didn` t film just Emirates. BOEING 727 DEPARTURE with EPIC SOUND + LANDING - Classic Plane in Action Cargospotter 2024-03-05 | A Boeing 727 is extremly hard to find in year 2024. Luckily one of the last active B727` s showed up in my area last week and I headed to Niederrhein Weeze Airport to film it. I have never filmed in Weeze before but for this great looking B727 I had to show up at the small airport newar the dutch/german boarder. T2Aviation is the last operator of the Boeing 727 in europe and they operate two former Fedex B727`s. G-OSRA and G-OSRB both have the ability to spray a fluid out of the spraying device at the rear end. As the name on the plane already says the spraying device is there to fight Oil spills on the water in case of an emergeny. As far as I know both aircrafts operate for the british government. After M-STAR recently got retired these two B727` s are the last oeprating Boeing 727` s in Europe and it was a great pleasure to meet one of them at Weeze again.Weeze is mainly know for the Parookaville Festival which takes place next to the airport. The only airline which has a small base at the airport is Ryanair. Not the Boeing 737Max at the beginning of the video. I thought it would be a nice contrast between the B737Max and the classic B727-200. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - AIRPLANE HIGHLIGHTS of FEBRUARY - BOEING 747, Airbus A380 ... (4K) Cargospotter 2024-03-01 | 60 Minutes pure Aviation, today with the airplane highlights of february. This month was quite interesting because I was able to film a crosswind landing video at Düsseldorf. The crews which approached runway 23L at Düsseldorf had to deal with wind speeds up to 30 knots which led to some interesting footage. The first aircraft in this video is a Boeing 767 of Condor. Maybe this was the last time I filmed a Condor B767 because the aircraft type will leave the fleet soon. The 767`s will be replaced with Airbus A330Neos.I also spend some time at Liege Airport in belgium. Luckily we were able to film some planes in the snow last month. It` s quite rare that we get snow and after the ground was white I immediatly drove to Liege. The traffic was good aswell and I was quite happy with the result. The highlight was the Boeing 747-8F of Hongyuan Cargo which sporadicly visits Liege since a few weeks. Not sure if they only used Liege for a short time or if they stay at the airport permanently.Also note the unusual filming location at Düsseldorf Airport. Once a year we are able to visit the classic visitor terace which is normally closed for the public since 10 years. (4K) Cargospotter 2024-02-23 | A very special video today. 70 planes in 26 minutes, filmed from the historic visitor terace at Düsseldorf Airport (Bahnhofsterasse) which is closed since almost 10 years. This month we got the chance to visit the classic visitor terace for one day due to a fair which took place there. I basicly "grew up" on this visitor terace and I often visited this place with by dad and granddad when I was a kid. It was also nice to see lots of friends from the past which I haven` t seen in ages. While filming on the visitor terace I was able to film the new Airbus A330 Neo of Condor in the new livery. Currently Condor operates 6 flights a week to various destinations in the caribean. The new livery looks quite unique and interesting and I am always happy to see it. At first I wasn` t a big fan of it but if you see it in person you get used to it quite fast.Also not the great looking Airbus A320 of Edelweiss which currently operates flights for Swiss Airways. Edelweiss is a partner company of Swiss which mainly handles the tourism traffic in switzerland. BOEING 777 GO AROUND + LANDING - 20 Minutes of Aviation at Liege (4K) Cargospotter 2024-02-20 | This Boeing 777-200 Freighter of Air China Cargo was approachung runway 22L at Liege when the crew of the aircraft suddenly decided to go around. I am not quite sure why they initiated a go around but I assume it was caused by blocked taxiways at the airport. Due to the snow only two taxiways were open at the end of the runway to vacate. Unfortunately a Boeing 737 of ASL and a Boeing 767 of Challenge Cargo blocked both of these taxiways while they were on their way to the active runway. I am not 100% sure but that would be my guess for the go around reason.After a while the Air China Cargo B777 returned to the airport and landed on runway 22L. About four hours earlier the B777 had to be diverted to Amsterdam due to dense fog at Liege Airport. It was quite a ride for the crew of this aircraft today although I assume they switched the flight crews at Amsterdam. I also filmed a few other planes which arrived at Liege during these lovely snow conditions. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - CLASSIC PLANES only - Boeing 727, Dc8, B707, IL62 ... (4K) Cargospotter 2024-02-16 | 60 Minutes pure Aviation, with classic planes only and with a quite sad occasion today. The first Boeing 727 which is visible in this video got retired last week and it is now parked in the United Kingdom. Due to the amazing livery this used to be my favorite B727 which was still operating and it` s also the reason why I deciede to upload a classic plane compilation today. There are rumours that the B727 won` t be scrapped and it will return to the skies with another operator after some time. There are not many classic B727` s left in the world and it` s always sad when another one stops flying. The last flight of this airframe was operated from London Stansted to Cotsworth Airport.I also included other classic planes I filmed within the last 13 years. I started filming in 2011 and one of the first planes I filmed was the Vickers VC-10 whcih departed at Brize Norton. The smoke trail was crazy and it was mesmerizing to watch and hear this classic bird depart. Airbus A380 close-up Landing Cargospotter 2024-02-11 | #shorts This Airbus A380 landed on runway 05R at Düsseldorf Airport after another flight from Dubai. The aircraft wears a special livery and visited Düsseldorf only once.
BOEING 747 DISAPPEARS IN ITS OWN SNOW CLOUD DURING DEPARTURE (4K) Cargospotter 2024-02-09 | This Boeing 747 of Magma Aviation disappeared in its own snow cloud while departing from runway 04R at Liege during snowy winter weather. Snow is quite rare in our area and after I realised there was snow in Liege I immediatly headed to the airport to film some planes in the snow. Have a look at the Magma B747 which taxied on a not fully cleaned taxiway. the outer engine was above the snow and you can see a small snow tornado in between the engines while the aircraft was taxiing to the runway. The aircraft is quite new in the fleet of Magma Aviation and it previously operated for JetOneX.The reason why I drove to Liege that day was the Boeing 747 Classic from GeoSky but sadly the B747-200 was the first aircraft to depart at Liege after I arrived. When I arrived the freezing fog was very dense and I wasn` t even able to see the runway. I have never seen conditions like that before, because the sky above me was completly blue and the sun was shining but the freezing fog was still there and I couldn`t see the runway. CROSSWIND LANDINGS DURING A STORM AT DÜSSELDORF - AIRBUS A380 GO AROUND, B767, B777 (4k) Cargospotter 2024-02-06 | Crosswind landings during a storm at Düsseldorf with some interesting wobbly arrivals during western crosswinds. I returned to the airport in the evening when the Airbus a380 arrived and the crew decided to go around. The A380 of Emirates had to join a holding after the missed approach because right after the aborted landing a thunderstorm passed the airport and the airport was closed for about 15 minutes. After the closure the Airbus safely landed on runway 23L.During daylight I was able to film the oldest Boeing 767-300 of Condor which performed a crosswind landing on runway 23L at Düsseldorf. The aircraft was delivered new to Condor in 1993 and operates for the german airline ever since. BOEING 747 CREATES A SNOWSTORM WITH FULL THRUST ENGINE POWER DURING DEPARTURE (4K) Cargospotter 2024-02-02 | This Boeing 747 created a snowstorm while departing with full thrust engine power at Liege. The Boeing 747-8F of Honyuan Cargo is quite new in the belgian skies. The aircraft can be seen departing Liege Airport for Chengdu in China. Snow is quite rare in belgium but this time we finally got some snow here and of course I drove all the way from germany to Belgium to film some planes in the snow. The traffic was great and I was quite lucky with the first two B747`s. The Hongyuan and Silk Way B747 both were scheduled to depart during darkness but due to de-icing and other issues both of them had delay and departing during perfect morning light conditions.It` s quite impressive to see these massive B747` s blasting away all the snow which was peacefully lying behind and next to the runway. The snow clouds behind the aircrafts give the entire scenery a dramatic effect and that` s what I enjoy most about filming during these winterly conditions.A nice unusual visitor this day was the Boeing 747-400 Freighter of Atlas Air which arrived from Indianapolis in the USA. One of my biggest highlight was the B747-8F of Hongyuan Cargo which stared operations last year. The aircraft still shows the livery of the previous operator Saudi Cargo. They used to operate two B747-8F but they tried to get rid of both aircrafts due to unknown reasons. They both found a new home in belgium with Air Belgium. The belgian airline commenced a partnership with the chinese logistic company hongyuan and the B747-8F are shutteling between Chendgu and Belgium since then. The weather in January was quite spectacular. Usually we don` t get lots of snow here in western europe but we finally were lucky. I am a hugh fan of snow and I always enjoy filming during these weather conditions. I headed to Liege immediatly after I realized the snow was covered with snow. BOEING 777 LANDING Cargospotter 2024-01-28 | #shorts This Boeing 777-300 of MGA Airlines landed on runway 05R at Düsseldorf Airport after operating another regular flight from Antalya to Düsseldorf. In Spring 2024 the airline will return to Düsseldorf and will uses the B777-300 again.
BOEING 707 DEPARTURE WITH AMAZING SOUND + EUROFIGHTER TOUCH AND GO (4K) Cargospotter 2024-01-26 | This Boeing 707 departure was quite amazing. It` s always a pleasure to see these Boeing E3A Awacs planes in action at Geilenkirchen and I can` t bleieve we are able to see these Boeing 707` s with classic engines in 2024 at Geilenkirchen on a daily basis. There was some snow on the ground and an Antonov AN12 was expected. That combination was the reason why I decided to visit the airport last week. The An12 was delayed into the darkness but the other traffic was quite good. A B707 and a KC135 Tanker departed for some air to air refuel training.By my surprise an Eurofighter suddenly showed up and performed a touch and go. I was just setting up my camera to set the focus for the KC135 which arrived 5 minutes later and suddenly I noticed something moving on my camera screen. I immediatly started recording and the Eurofighter Typhoon performed a great looking touch and go right in front of me.I also waited for the An12 of Cavok Air which arrived from turkey and departed to Liege. Although it arrived after sunset I still think the video of the An12 looks kinda interesting. BOEING 747 CREATES A SNOWSTORM DURING DEPARTURE (4K) Cargospotter 2024-01-23 | This Boeing 747 created a snowstorm during departure at Liege. Finally we had some snow at the belgian cargo airport and of course I drove to the airport to film some planes having fun in the snow. The first Boeing 747 of Challenge Cargo departed on runway 22L with destination Zhengzhou and when the pilots spooled up the engines the 747 lifted up the snow which was behind the Jumbo Jet. The result was a snow storm which was visible behind the departing B747. Definitly a great moment. Filming during snow is always something special.The second B747 of Magma Cargo also created a similar snowstorm while departing to africa. Magma is a company which is based in Liege, Belgium. They mainly operate flights to the USA and Africa. In the USA Greenville is one of their frequent destinations because they ofter operate cargo flights for BMW. All aircrafts from Magma are leased from Air Atlanta Icelandic. We jump right into this video with a Challenge Cargo Boeing 747-400 Freighter which is a frequent visitor at the airport. Challenge operates a fleet of four B747` s and they frequently fly to destinations in Asia and the USA. Recently they also added three Boeing 767-300 Freighters to their fleet and one of them is already flying. It` s also a part of this video. The formter Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767 is great addition to the fleet of Challenge Cargo.Also note the Boeing 767 of SF Airlines. It was the first time I filmed this aircraft at Liege. They started operating flights to the belgian airports in autumn. The B767 flights are an addition to their regular B747 flights. 60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - AIRBUS A380, B747, IL62, IL76, AN12 and more (4K) Cargospotter 2024-01-16 | 60 Minutes pure aviation, today with my favorite airplane highlights of the last three years. My biggest highlight during the last years definitly was the A380 of All Nippon Airways. I drove almost 4 hours to Hamburg Finkenwerder to film this incredible looking airplane. The painted the aircraft in a special turtle livery because the turtle is connected to Hawai. They mainly use their 3 A380` s as a shuttle between Japan and Hawai. I hope to see this great looking Airbus again someday.I also included other great aviation highlights including the stunning red Boeing 747 of National Airlines. They painted a B747 Jumbo Jet in this livery to celebrate 25 years of existence. Actually the livery belonged to the Supertanker which used to be a firefighting plane. National bought the plane, removed the equipment and started using the airplane as a normal cargo plane. BOEING 747 DEPARTURE at Düsseldorf + 14 US Helicopters (4K) Cargospotter 2024-01-05 | It was a crazy day at Düsseldorf Airport when about 14 helicopters suddenly approached the airport. They were on their way to the dutch coast but fog caused the helicopters to turn around and to land at Düsseldorf Airport. This was most likely the most unusual movement I have seen at Düsseldorf during the last year. After arriving in the evening all of them departed the next day within two hours.Another interesting highlight at Düsseldorf was the Boeing 747-400 Freighter of Air China Cargo which got diverted from Amsterdam due to stron crosswinds. After going around twice at Amsterdam the pilots decided to divert to Düsseldorf. The Air china B747 wasn` t the only highlight. A Boeing 757 of Jet2Holidays arrived at Düsseldorf with some soccer fans, if I remember corretly for the Newcastle United game against BVB. The B757`s of Jet2 will leave the fleet quite soon that` s why I was happy to film one of them at my homeairport.Also note the special painted Boeing 787 Dreamliner of Etihad Airways which arrived at Düsseldorf on the morning rotation. The airplane wears a special Man City livery to celebrate the partnership between Etihad and Mancity. BOEING 747 HYBRID Departure + SUPER FAST B747-400 TAKEOFF (4K) Cargospotter 2024-01-02 | This Boeing 747 Hybrid departed at Liege Airport and it wears a hybrid (mixed) livery. The former operator of this B747-8F was Saudia Cargo and the livery is still clearly visible. In addition they added titles of "Hongyuan Group" and in the tail you see the operator of the aircraft which is Air Belgium. Happy new year to all of you! I wanted to start of the year with a video from my favorite airport, which is Liege in Belgium. Hongyuan started working with Air Belgium about a year ago and they recently started flying out of Liege. The shown aircraft is a B747-8F and it` s quite hard for companies to finde a B747-8 as a used plane. Don` t know why but Saudia decided to get rid of their modern Jumbo Jets and Air Belgium baught them. They also added a third B747 to their fleet and the 3rd aircraft used to fly for Cargologic. The second highlight of this video is the Boeing 747-400 of Network Aviation which rotated very fast. They aircraft was empty and they had to bring to Frankfurt Hahn for maintenance works. That` s why the aircraft climbed out of Liege like a rocket.
