Dancing to Freedom: Therapy and Gods PresenceLausanne Movement2024-09-25 | In this episode of 'God on the Move', Renelle Snelleksz shares her remarkable story of becoming a dance movement therapist after leaving a high-profile news presenting career. Growing up in Calcutta and later moving to Mumbai, she recounts her spiritual journey, encounters with the Holy Spirit, and discovering dance movement therapy during a sabbatical in 2011. Renelle speaks about using dance therapy to bring healing and freedom to trafficked girls in India, emphasizing the deep, subconscious healing it offers. She highlights her work with International Justice Mission and her experiences in worship dance, describing the challenges and ultimate empowerment of affected girls through creative expression.
Renelle Snelleksz: Dance movement therapist Renelle Snelleksz’s life testimony is rooted in experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit to break oppressive trauma and bring healing and restoration to the lives of those she ministers to. All of life’s experiences, good or bad, are stored as memory in the body and impact the mental, physical, emotional and social well being of a person. Using the core principles of Dance movement therapy creates a safe space for people to address the core issues of life and relationships. But the intensity of deep pain in the human heart can only be restored by the power of Jesus to deliver us from bondage and propel us into freedom. Using movement and the expressive arts, this ministry has witnessed many lives transformed after child sexual abuse, abandonment and neglect, issues of identity, depression and mental health problems, suicidal thoughts, divorce and marital stress, domestic violence and addictions.
Renelle responded to God’s call on her life in 2011 to quit her media career in Broadcast Journalism, to be trained in the psychotherapeutic methodology of Dance Movement Therapy. She works mostly with girls rescued from sex trafficking, partnering with agencies in India that fight sex-trafficking and sexual violence. Her ministry AL!VE – Rise to Dance Again, takes dance movement therapy to children recovering from cancer, youth from impoverished communities, corporate offices and private clients among others. She also uses movement and the creative arts to release the church into the freedom of expressive worship engaging “heart, soul, mind and strength”.
Along with her husband, they lead a small house church in Pune, India. She is also a mother to a toddler and has always loved travelling, dancing and all things creative!

Breaking Chains: Empowering Men to Pursue ChristlikenessLausanne Movement2024-09-18 | In this episode of 'God on the Move', Christian Lenty shares his inspirational journey of founding the MST Project in Bangkok, Thailand, committed to helping men realize their full potential through mentoring, strengthening marriages, and teaching biblical truth. Christian discusses his ministry's initiatives, including engaging with men in red-light districts, supporting men in their pursuit of sexual purity, and fostering Christlike character. He emphasizes the importance of faithfulness, obedience, and seeing individuals for who they can become in Christ, rather than their current circumstances. The episode delves into the challenges, successes, and the heart behind the MST Project's mission.
Christian Lenty: Christian Lenty is the founder and director of The MST Project, a ministry that mentors men worldwide in pursuing greater sexual purity, spiritual wholeness, and Christlike maturity. The MST Project has four primary initiatives: On the Street, Pathway to Purity, Real Men Pursuing Purity, and Re:Start. On the Street is an outreach to foreign men who visit red-light districts, providing long-term mentorship and support for those men wanting to make changes. Pathway to Purity is for men in the church dealing with sexual addictions and struggles. Through 1-on-1 discipleship through their book, The Pursuit of Purity, men around the world have experienced freedom. Real Men Pursuing Purity seeks to inspire men to grow in greater Christlikeness in all areas of their lives. This is accomplished through quarterly online events and weekly connect groups with participants worldwide. And Re:Start helps Christian workers involved in moral misconduct experience repentance, renewal, and restoration. Christian has lived in Thailand for 23 years and resides in Bangkok with his wife.

Join Dr. Patrick Fung as he unpacks the heart behind this powerful theme for the upcoming Fourth Lausanne Congress.
In this episode of the Lausanne Movement Podcast, Dr. Patrick Fung, Programme Chair for the Fourth Lausanne Congress, shares insights into the Congress's theme, "Let the Church Declare and Display Christ Together." He reflects on his personal journey in missions, the theme of the congress, and calls us back to humility, integrity, and simplicity in proclaiming the gospel. Explore the essential balance between declaring Christ through words and displaying Christ through action as we prepare for this pivotal global event.

The Church: Dr. Fung emphasises the importance of mutuality and unity between the Global South and North, fostering interdependence rather than independence. 3. Declare and Display: Proclaiming the gospel isn’t just through words but also through lives that reflect Christ, combining verbal proclamation with acts of love and service. 4. Together: The Congress aims to bridge gaps across denominations, cultures, and generations, fostering collaborative action in mission. 5. Humility, Integrity, Simplicity: Inspired by the Cape Town Commitment, Dr. Fung calls the church back to these three values crucial for the Lausanne Movement and the global church.
