Taking the pulses from "Patterns" and hooking it straight into a PT2399 to control the time parameter. Making it so it constantly jumps between long delay and short delay in a tempo of your choosing. Actually in 5 tempos of your choosing where you also choose in which tempo it moves from tempo to tempo.So with simple controls you can creating everything from vibrato type modulation, bizarro reverb octave ringmod delay trails, too under water robot sounds go super bananas and have a good time yeah! It's totally bonkers!Sync it with a 5V gate clock to whatever you play into it and all of a sudden you have a polyrythmic vibrato kinda? Originally taking apart vintage rotary phones and simply passing the signal through the inside mechanics to use both the rotary dial and big red button as killswitches.In the new Stutterphone V.2 the signal is never mechanically broken. Instead the rotary dial and big red button are connected to a microcontroller that controls a "silencer" I have designed. This is to avoid the pop sounds occuring when mechanically cutting an audio signal.For the first official Magpie Pedals Stutterphone I also designed a fuzz. This is of course included in the Stutterphone V.2! But I have added a clean mix so you can dial it in yourself. (I also tweaked the volume knob to double as a clean boost).MAUNAL OR LOOP:Additionally the Stutterphone V.2 now has two different modes of operation (Press and hold the bypass footswitch for about 1-2 seconds to change mode):Red Mode (Manual/Original): Manually use the big red button or rotary dial to either silence your signal or let it pass through (depending on the backmounted red button).The Stutterphone V.2 always starts in RED mode when powering up.Green Mode (Loop): In loop mode you can record up to 10 moments of silence/signal on a constant loop. These moments can range in time, but can only be recorded with the big red button (not the rotary dial).The loop lenght is controlled either with the clear mini pot or with a 5V CV Clock connected to the 3.5mm jack on the back. A complete overhaul of the existing lineup with massive updates, plus a couple of new fantastic pedals that are very one-of-a-kind.Introducing a brand new type of bypass. Atleast as far as I know. I call it the "Triple Bypass" system because you now how a three mode bypass switching system.Short press: Works like any regular pedal. Press to turn it on and then press to turn it off.Momentary/Hold: If you press and hold for about 1-2 seconds the pedal will enter a momentary mode. Here it will simply stay in the state it entered when pressing down the button, for however long you decide to hold down the button, and then return when you release the button.So if you press down when the pedal is turned OFF it will stay ON for as long as you hold the button pressed down, and vice versa.Tap Tempo Bypass: If you quickly double tap the bypass button (either when on or off) the pedal will enter a "Tap Tempo Bypass" mode. Here the pedal automatically turns itself on/off in whatever tempo you tap. So to change tempo you simply tap a new tempo.To exit tap tempo bypass you simply press and hold the button for about 1-2 seconds.
