1. Something I forgot to mention was the Envelopes for the Oscillators. You can see their shapes in the video, they are typical ADSR with an immediate Attack, Sustain set at maximum, and a very short Release for both.

The world is sinking. Slowly, day by day, the continents are vanishing under the waves. This is the age of the Flood.

In a city by the sea, a priest admits to himself that he has lost his faith. He would like to believe in God, but he simply can’t. Lost and alone, he sets out to find his brothers. Did they keep the faith? Perhaps their stories will help him figure out his own. But the waters keep rising, and hope and despair are tightly intertwined.

Gospels of the Flood is an audio drama starring Peter Wingfield (Highlander: The Series, Holby City, Sanctuary). Written and directed by Jonas Kyratzes (The Talos Principle, The Eternal Cylinder). Music and sound design by Chris Christodoulou (Risk of Rain 1 & 2, The Sea Will Claim Everything).

Nature here is vile and base.
I would see asphyxiation and choking and,
fighting for survival and, just rotting away...

Of course there's a lot of misery.
The trees here are in misery and,
the birds are in misery, I don't think they sing,
they just screech in pain.

But it is the same misery that is all around us.

It's like a curse, weighing on an entire landscape.
And whoever goes too deep into this has his share of that curse.
It's a land that god has created in anger.
Even the stars up here in the sky look like a mess.

Taking a close look at what's around us,
there is some sort of a harmony.
The harmony of overwhelming and collective murder.

But when I say this, I say this all full of admiration.
It's is not that I hate it — I love it, I love it very much.
But I love it against my better judgment...
