The image of Paul Kruger can be found on the obverse of 2022 South African Gold Krugerrand Coins. Otto Schultz produced the left-profile relief of the previous president of the South African Republic in 1892, who served for four terms.
In 1892, the Austrian Mint struck these gold coins as a commemorative release. 20 Francs gold coins were popularly used throughout Europe at the time and the Austro-Hungarian Empire had first issued gold coins in this denomination in 1870. What makes these particular coins unique is the dual denomination they hold with a value of 20 Francs and 8 Florin.
On the reverse of 20 Franc Gold Coins feature the Gallic Rooster, which is known as an unofficial symbol of France.
In the Middle Ages, the Gallic Rooster was widely used as a religious symbol, the sign of hope and faith. It was during the Renaissance that the rooster began to be associated with the emerging French nation.
Under the Valois and the Bourbon kings, the royal effigy was often accompanied by this animal, meant to stand for France, in engravings, and on coins. Although still a minor emblem, the rooster could be found at both the Louvre and Versailles.
The obverse bears a bust of the national symbol of France, Marianne, which was designed by J.C. Chaplain. Each of the French coins was struck by the world-famous Paris Mint.
Marianne is the embodiment of the French Republic. Marianne represents the permanent values that found her citizens’ attachment to the Republic: "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity".
A jubilee celebration is held to mark the reigning kings of England reaching significant throne years. Although they go by different titles, hardly many of these jubilees have attained the status of the Golden Jubilee. 50 years as the monarch of England were commemorated by Queen Victoria I's Golden Jubilee in 1887. The Great Britain Gold Sovereigns that were produced from 1887 to 1893 are known as Jubilee Sovereigns and feature a unique portrait of the former monarch.
The image of St. George is depicted on the reverse. Benedetto Pistrucci painted this depiction of the Christian saint fighting a dragon in 1817 while mounted. This design is normally included on the reverse of all gold sovereigns, though the reign of Queen Victoria I was one of the few in which this design was occasionally substituted with a crowned shield instead.
The so-called Jubilee Sovereign was among the most outstanding gold sovereign designs. From 1887 to 1893, the Royal Mint produced these Great Britain Gold Sovereigns, which featured a portrait of the Queen based on a bust by Francis John Williamson.
The coin's limited-edition design was developed in 1887 to honor Victoria I's Golden Jubilee, and it is based on a bust Williamson made to commemorate the event. Latin is used for the engravings on these gold sovereigns.
The Victoria Jubilee coin is one of the most beautiful coins I have in my collection.
The Morgan Dollar, which was created by Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan (1845–1925), was produced from 1878 through 1904 and once more in 1921.
The late 19th-century industrial growth and westward migration of the nation were symbolized by this iconic silver dollar.
The new Morgan Dollar, which was produced by combining cutting-edge technology with historic U.S. Mint assets, has a stunning uncirculated polish.
Liberty is seen in profile on the obverse (heads side). She is surrounded by 13 stars, "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and the year of issuance, and has a cap, flowers, and crown with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on it. A wreath and an extended eagle holding arrows and an olive branch are shown on the reverse (tails) of the coin.
The Morgan 9th-century version of the heraldic eagle was one of the few of the era on American coins to lack the US national shield. It did feature the bald eagle in front-facing relief with the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons.
Each coin is presented in a classy black box with a lovely outer sleeve that features an image of the coin's obverse and comes with an authenticity certificate.
The Morgan Dollar is a classic coin!
On the obverse of the coin is the portrait of King Edward VII facing right. The translation of the legend is: Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God King of all the Britain's Defender of the Faith Emperor of India. This side of the coin is engraved by George William de Saulles.
Benedetto Petrucci created the reverse of this coin in 1817. It features St. George riding on horseback slaying the dragon.
In the Euro-Gold market sector, French Francs are consistently popular with gold bullion buyers and small gold coin collectors who don't want to pay a lot over gold's value.
The French Franc Angel was made in 1871 to 1898.
The reverse of the coin features the Aztec Calendar Stone. The Aztec Calendar Stone is better known in the archaeological literature as the Aztec Sun Stone or Piedra del Sol in Spanish.
The obverse shows the Mexican coat of arms featuring a golden eagle perched atop a cactus, devouring a snake.
The Mexico Gold 20 Pesos was minted from 1917 to 1958. My coin is a 1919.
From 1839 through 1907, the $5 Liberty Gold Half Eagle was legal tender. The Liberty Half Eagle has a substantially higher gold content than other circulating coins because its mintage period was before 1933.
The Liberty Half Eagle, like other $5 Half Eagles, depicts a bald eagle holding a pair of arrows in its talons while supporting an olive branch. But the eagle on the Liberty Half Eagle has been depicted in great clarity. The national bird is presented in a realistic manner and details like the complex texture of its feet and feathers. A scroll over the eagle's head has the coin's denomination written out.
Christian Gobrecht made the decision to reinterpret earlier Lady Liberty pictures in a neoclassical style. Liberty is shown in profile in Gobrecht's artwork, her ornately styled hair adorned with an engraved tiara. Her appearance, including her hairstyle, was based on early Greco-Roman depictions of goddesses and ladies. In addition to the coin's mintage year, his design features a ring of thirteen stars around the coin's edge.
Due to the Liberty Half Eagle's simultaneous production at all seven US mints and its distinctive mint markings, it has become a collectors' favorite.
First introduced in 1967, the Krugerrand was the first modern Gold bullion coin in the world, and this Gold bullion coin series remains a favorite among collectors and investors today. The Krugerrands were minted to assist in promoting South African Gold to the international markets. Krugerrands were never assigned a face value, but were designed to derive their value from the price of Gold at the time they are traded. The Gold Krugerrand is prized around the world, with a highly sought-after design inspired by history. They feature the South African Republic's first president, Paul Kruger. On the reverse, a springbok, which is the national animal, and the date of minting appear. On the Krugerrand Gold coin, the springbok seems to be jumping into action, while President Kruger is a reminder of 19th century South African political and military affairs.
Krugerrands are durable by design because they are minted .9167 oz of fine Gold with the remaining alloy of Copper. The Gold content defines the Krugerrand's value, plus a premium that is dictated by market conditions. The Gold Krugerrand is one of the most easily recognizable and widely owned Gold coins in the world.

for four and a half years, hahaha!
I finally ordered it!
I saved up for it.
You know, the
"envelop system" of budgeting.
I place anywhere from
$20, $25, $30,
the biggest amount was $50.
But without fail,
every month
I saved up for it!
A testimony...
that even the non-essentials in life
if you really want it,
if you saved up for it,
you can acquire it.
I don't need another ring.
But I liked this one!
😍#ilikeitalot!😍
You are amazing!!!
In the sixteenth century, the elaborate parade armor and shield of their King were decorated by famous Parisian artists. On the Shield of Henry II of France, a battle scene is surrounded by classically-inspired designs and motifs associated with the monarchy.
Etienne Delauney, Jean Cousin the Elder, and Baptiste Pellerin all contributed to the intricate imagery: a battle scene and motifs related to the monarchy.
Having reproduced a two-foot-tall original at a tenth of its original size while preserving so much detail must rank as one of the most impressive medallic achievements in 2022.
This piece depicts the Battle of Cannae, which is meant to symbolize France's struggle against the Holy Roman Empire, in the center of a complex motif and symbol representing the King and the monarchy.

I like the Statue of Liberty design in coins, rounds, and bars primarily for the significance of the design and its history. Collecting vintage silver in specific designs makes my stacking journey interesting & enjoyable having to collect the silver of a
particular design or set.
