Two Lost Commentaries: Original Exfredds Video & Cancelled Collab LunaticTheGame 2023-09-01 | Every now and then, I'll end up scrapping commentaries. Rarely if ever does this happen while a video's in editing phase, but this year I've had two instances of this being the case so I've decided to salvage them instead of letting them rot on my hard drive. 0:00 ~ Video 1: "The Waffle House Has Found Its New Host",Earlier this year I began production on what would later become my Exfredds video. I had it basically done once I moved to my new PC, however in April I decided to scrap what I had and redo the video from scratch as I wasn't satisfied with the script. The end result was the Exfredds video that is on my channel. This version of the video is the OG version which features a slightly different version of the script present in the new video, Me using Power from CSM as an avatar (I may use her again someday), and Waffle house as the setting of the video (in reference to a meme from January). I did have the audio skeleton for the last point & final thoughts finished, but I decided to remove it from the video (Which sadly meant I couldn't keep an outtake of me dropping my mic on my foot and my screams of agony afterwards T_T).16:41 ~ Video 2: "Carnival Keytasm" Scripted around May 2020, this was to be a co-op between me and former commentator Keyblade Master and he wanted me to upload it to his channel (Hence why the editing style is more in line with what he would do on his channel). Production on the editing side stalled for a variety of reasons (Didn't get the lines until late 2020, then I got busy editing other projects including my version of The Cloud Comm tri-op featuring me, him & Slayer, his insistence on re-scripting the outro skit even though it was completely fine for example) and it didn't help that he kinda didn't consult me on if I even had the time to edit the video in the first place, and so it was kinda at the end of my editing backlog and took a backseat to literally every project I had between late 2020 and mid 2023. I was going to get to work on finishing it this summer, but moving the files from my old PC to my new one took 12 hours and was a pain in the ass. I was going to resume production once my Limbo and Exfredds video were complete, but as many of you may know the "Cloak & Dagger" situation (Which he was heavily involved with) happened at the end of July and carried into the early days of August. As a result of Keys actions, he (totally) left Youtube and I've made it a point to never talk to him again. Honestly I was just glad I didn't have to edit this anymore. But I was still proud of bits and pieces of the video, hence why I'm sharing what little of the video I made here.

Lunas Reaction to Soras Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Reveal Trailer LunaticTheGame 2021-10-07 | BIG volume warning. I should clarify that while I said I wasn't a Kingdom Hearts fan in my reaction, I am a fan of the franchise just not at the same level of a lot of my friends. Much of my experience with the games come from KH3 and the mobile game but I've played plenty of the DDD Demo as well as KH1 years and years ago. Dragon Quest Music That Should Be In Super Smash Bros Ultimate LunaticTheGame 2021-02-10 | Of all the DLC's for Smash Ultimate, Dragon Quest was by far the one that was done the most dirty, having gotten only 8 tracks and all of them are medicore midi versions of what are very clearly written as symphonic tracks. This was likely the result of the influence DQ series composer - Koichi Sugiyama - has over his music and he tends to be extremely stingy on how his music gets used. In fact because of this, DQXI only had a midi soundtrack in the game for two years before the Switch re-release in 2019. Smash Bros ended up giving a decent but somewhat lackluster sound selection that could've been better at representing the franchise. Of course, there likely wasn't anything the Smash Bros team could've done given SE's track record and Sugiyama's nature when it comes to people using the Dragon Quest music but still. Games like 5, 7 and 9 are also given their own tracks due to their popularity within the DQ community. Tracks like Catastrophe, Brave Fight and Run Through the Predicament were chosen purely due to my own personal enjoyment of said tracks however. Also despite my preference for the symphonic tracks, Sylvando's theme is midi as it seems to be the one most fans prefer. Also, Homeland and Wagons Wheels March are fused because I'd like to imagine they would be if Homeland was given the chance in Smash.
