Vanessas First Day 11/20/1998 Damian Family Home Videos 2026-05-06 | So, this video was apparently recorded over my and Eva's wedding reception video. But it's ok because this video is very precious to me as it's the first day of my daughter Vanessa's life, then a visit with my grandparents Victor and Christina Damian (so great to see and hear them again!), and then a month later during Christmas time at our apartment home. (Plus, my Aunt Norma did a great job of capturing the wedding reception anyway which I posted previously).It's telling that it's recorded over because for the first 40 minutes it's all about Vanessa's new life, but then it jumps back in time a year earlier to what's left of our wedding reception video; the day after the wedding reception (where we are picking up stuff from my parents' house to move into our new apartment); and then more video of Debi and Christian with Dad recording.

I accidentally recorded over my copy of mine and my ex-wife's wedding reception video when our baby Vanessa was born in November of 1998. I know this because in the middle of my daughter's born day video there's a short segment that shows the removal of the bride's garter on this night! Well thankfully, for historical purposes, this video was captured by my Aunt Norma Damian. I'm thankful that she had this video because this is all that's left of that fun day!

Easter 1997 Damian Family Home Videos 2026-03-18 | Easter 1997This video is a lot longer than the others! I was surprised at how much was on here! This is Easter at the Ordaz Family house. Back when we all used to get together to eat, womp each other with confetti eggs (cascarones), and play volleyball! My dad, Dan Sr., took the video camera and gave some priceless play by play analysis of the cascarón battle (and even initiated some!). It's awesome to see my family (some of whom are no longer here) young, vibrant, and happy! Note: Halfway through, the video cuts out. This was partly a mistake on my part because I thought the video was over as that is how the VHS tape plays, so I hit stop. But then it continues so I had to restart the recording at that point.
