The least common set is Choice Band Arceus for immediate damage that has Trick to swap items with an opposing Pokémon. Its restricted partner is Assault Vest Miraidon, probably my favorite set for the dragon of all time. This one has Snarl over Dazzling Gleam to assist in the Calyrex Shadow Rider matchup. Volcarona patches up Zamazenta with an Electric Seed to boost its defense and Tailwind to boost everyone's speed. Since the seed is taken, the team's Arubega Farigiraf has a Sitrus Berry instead. Focus Sash Chien-Pao is nothing new, but this set has an old throwback with Sacred Sword over a second dark-type move. Finally, Choice Scarf Urshifu is absolutely cracked. I told y'all it was the meta pick. Let's take a look!Bronzong hard walls both Ursaluna forms, so I felt it was good. This set uses Grassy Seed for an immediate defense boost, and Iron Defense/Body Press to set up and sweep. It's Zamazenta at home. The Rillaboom is a standard Reg H set but with U-Turn over High Horsepower, and Tera Poison over Fire. The reason is that Garchomp is on the team to replace Dragonite. Tera Fairy, but with Substitute to punish passive plays. The Volcarona is standard. Tera Fairy, Tera Blast with Quiver Dance to handle the plethora of Dragon Types. The last two are a pair. Today, I am using a team (poorly) featuring Kyogre and Magearna. Let's take a look.Twitter user Kashiwagineru posted this team, and I was interested in Life Orb Urshifu. People calculate for Surging Strikes all the time, but that extra damage boost throws those out the window. He is also powered up by Mystic Water Kyogre, which sets up the rain when it enters the battlefield. Kyogre also helps the other Restricted, Magearna, weakening the Fire-type damage that is otherwise super effective on the Pokémon. The rest of the team is standard. Choice Scarf Annihilape can help with Pivoting while also using Final Gambit to immediately give Magearna a +2 to its Special Attack. Indeedee helps with Terrain Control and can keep its partner safe with Follow Me. You can also get a min-speed Magearna, so they work well in Trick Room.The rest of the team is standard Hard Trick Room. Choice Scarf Annihilape can Final Gambit while Magearna sets up Trick Room and gives the little robot an immediate 2x boost to its special attack. So, how do we cure that?Sandy Shocks! This ancient magnet gets Gravity, a move that makes inaccurate moves more accurate. It also gets a speed boost from Protosynthesis, which Groudon sets up. Some great synergy, honestly. The other sun abusers are Chi-Yu for its fire moves and Flutter Mane for Protosynthesis.Finally, Rillaboom rounds out the team. Let's take a look.The restricted pairing for this team is Zamazenta & Calyrex Shadow Rider. There isn't much to say about the team that I haven't in earlier videos. This team is based on Joji Kumura's NAIC & Japan Nationals team, but with Ogerpon Hearthflame over the Raging Bolt.Most of the sets are the same except for EVs. This CSR is at maximum speed, while Joji's was not. Smeargle is Tera Ghost instead of Tera Grass. There are various small differences, but the largest is that Yee used Ogerpon over Raging Bolt. The Ogerpon has redirection with Follow Me, and still has second priority with a second Grassy Glide. The combos here are Chien-Pao and Dragonite for insane Extreme Speed damage, Chi-Yu and Flutter Mane to do the same on the special side, and Dondozo and Tatsugiri, because I've been enjoying trolling with them. Let's take a look at the team I used to win it.The goal is simple. We all know that really annoying Calyrex Shadow, Koraidon, and Weezing team in Regulation I, right? Well, I made a version for Regulation H with Glimmora. This Glimmora is extremely bulky and features a Covert Cloak, so it cannot be faked out. It is also partnered with Maushold, which can side-Beat Up and proc Toxic Spikes. When you lead this duo, you have Dondozo and Tatsugiri in the back. This is a physically defensive Dondozo with Order Up and Body Press, so Intimidate cycling doesn't work while boosting your bulk to survive more hits, so Toxic ticks down your opponent. It's an aggravating strategy.Finally, Archaludon can also benefit from side Beat Up to proc Stamina, and answers rain, a challenging archetype for the team. Today, I am using a team made by 2017 World Champion Ryota Otsubo. The team features an odd Restricted Pairing of Zamazenta and Lunala, but also has Latios, a Pokémon that sees almost no play. Let's take a look!Latios is here to set Tailwind and disrupt the opponent with the move Ally Switch. It also deals damage with powerful moves like Luster Purge and Draco Meteor. It is partnered with Iron Defense Zamazenta, something we've been seeing more of, and Meteor Beam Lunala. However, this one has no bulk, so it hits as fast as it falls.The rest of the team is mostly standard. Assault Vest Rillaboom sets the terrain and has Fake Out, but this one is more offensive than the normal version. Choice Scarf Urshifu provides a second pivot, but this one is Jolly and has Poison Jab. Finally, Torkoal helps in the Trick Room matchup and sets the weather. The bulk is okay, but it's pretty funny. Its moves are standard, though. The restricted choices are also normal. Calyrex Shadow with Tera Ghost and Focus Sash, and Zamazenta with Tera Water and Rusted Shield raise no eyebrows, but are a powerful core.Choice Scarf Chi-Yu helps in the mirror and provides a fast fire offensive presence that's effective in the meta. Amoonguss does its normal disruption, but this one has Mental Herb, so it can ignore Spore once. Finally, the speed booster Walking Wake is here, but instead of Snarl, it has Knock Off, which is... interesting. We will see if I'm able to use it in today's battles. So, let's take a look.The Restricted pair is Terapagos and Calyrex Shadow. CSR holds a Life Orb with Nasty Plot, a common set in Regulation G. Terapagos is rocking four moves and the Choice Specs items. Since it's normally a set-up Pokémon, both are paired with Decorate Smeargle. This little gal has a ton in her toolkit to punish defensive plays like Spore & Decorate. Ch-Yu is there to boost the damage for Terap & CSR, and threatens huge knockouts with Beads of Ruin boosted Overheat. Let's take a look!I felt Volcarona was strong in this format, so I built a team around it. Quiver Dance Volcarona is all bulk but snowballs quickly, especially with Fiery Dance giving potential Special Attack boosts. I gave it double Fake Out with Incineroar and Rillaboom to lower the physical damage of the opponent, give it additional recovery with grassy terrain, and to, well, Fake Out.Set Up Teams also need immediate damage, so that's where Choice Specs Flutter Mane comes in. I forgot how hard this thing hits, especially with Tera Fairy. You also have Great Tusk with a Focus Sash to take care of the Rock Types that seriously threaten the Bug. Originally, you would see Tera Ground, but since Stellar is an option, I thought I would give it a try. Finally, Whimsicott is there. The other restricted is Choice Specs Miraidon, a common partner for CIR. This is a standard fast and offensive set.Farigiraf is on the team as a second Trick Room setter and a priority blocker. Tera Electric helps in the opposing Miraidon matchup. Incineroar offers utility with Fake Out, Knock Off, and Parting Shot. What's not to love? Today, I am using a team created by @AndyLaVGC that features an unorthodox Pokémon: Poliwhirl. Let's take a look!The archetype is Hyper-Offense Rain. The first Restricted is Life Orb, Tera Water Kyogre with Water Spout. It deals an insane amount of damage. You pair it with Swift Swim Poliwhirl, which can use Icy Wind for speed control, break a potential Focus Sash, and then KO with Water Spout. It's gross. You also have Farigiraf to stop priority moves like Fake Out and Grassy Glide, while also giving a damage boost to Kyogre with Helping Hand.Tornadus is a must on this team comp. This one is holding a Sharp Beak to increase its damage on Bleakwind Storm and pick up KO's your opponent wouldn't expect. Incineroar is standard, except it is Specially Defensive and has a Covert Cloak to block opposing Fake Out moves. Finally, Zacian is Tera Ground, Tera Blast, since the rain protects it from Fire-type moves, and ground coverage is essential. I took Calyrex Shadow Rider and Zamazenta to NAIC. Let's take a look.The team is standard. The CSR has Encore to punish defensive plays, and enough defensive EV's to usually survive Surging Strikes from Mystic Water Urshifu. Zamazenta has just enough speed to always out-speed Kyogre and Groudon, max defense for Body Press damage, and the rest in HP for bulk. The defensive core of the team is also standard. I'm boring, I know. Rillaboom almost always survives a Specs, Helping Hand Boosted Draco Meteor from Miraidon on Grassy Terrain. Incineroar usually survives Surging Strikes from NON-Mystic Water Urshifu. Amoonguss always survives a Psychic from Focus Sash Calyrex Shadow Rider. Finally, Dark Urshifu was my meta call for the team. We've seen the sixth slot stay malleable, but with Amoonguss I thought breaking through Wide Guards and Protects was too valuable. Today, I am using a team that I found on Twitter. It has a Pikachu on it. Let's get into it.Swordfish is a nickname for teams with Zacian and Kyogre as their restricted pair. This is a standard Zacian with Tera Fighting, Sacred Sword for surprise damage. The Kyogre is also a standard Assault Vest set, but it is faster than most other Kyogre. It even has a Timid nature! However, Pikachu is the star. Fast Fake Out gives it immediate utility in battle, and Nuzzle offers speed control. The Pikachu has 0 HP IVs and imperfect defensive IVs, so it can be brought to Sash easier and get a huge Endeavor off. Galarian Moltres is underexplored in Regulation I, in my opinion. This set features Choice Scarf with Snarl to combat Calyrex Shadow Rider and always outspeed opposing Miraidon. It's partnered with Calm Mind Lunala, a set we haven't seen much of since Reg G 1.0. One might think Rillaboom is an odd partner, but I believe in it. Double terrain means you can always keep Terrain Control while consistently pivoting. The Rillaboom set is standard. The rest of the Fake Out Bros are also here. Safety Goggles Incineroar helps the pivot options, and Focus Sash Urshifu... is there. (It's on fraud watch, I'm not going to lie.) Finally, Volcarona helps with opposing Zamazenta, which otherwise gives this team trouble.
