Hi, I'm Bex, here on this channel I talk about mostly writer-related things. If this interests you, please consider subscribing. In this video, I read my half of the genre swap collab with Kesha at "Write The Dang Thing". We came up with this collab by picking a few words such as an occupation, a setting, a time frame as stakes, A goal of painting a picture, and a conflict or problem in reaching the goal. our words were- Painter Woods 24 hrs to Paint a picture no paint
From there we included these elements into our stories. The twist was we had to write the story using one another's genre as our category in which to write it.
I write Horror and she writes Fantasy-so we swapped for these stories. I hope you will like our genre swap collab and the stories we came up with. Hope that you will try stepping up and out of your comfort zone and try swapping genres with someone else and writing a story and uploading your videos!
Have fun! Below are our links and also the link to Kesha's video which comes out the day after this one. Set a reminder so you won't miss it! Her Channel is Write The Dang Thing (WTDT)

Consider the application and impact for storyThe Novel Nana2021-04-20 | In this video, I will discuss how writers can implement grief and the stages thereof in their stories for a more realistic, relatable, emotional impact on both the characters and the reader, respectively. I will discuss ways for the writer to consider using and how to draw the reader into the story more deeply, effectively, and realistically in an organic way that will help readers connect and care for the story and the characters when there is a loss.
Disclaimer-this is only my opinion and should be considered as such. Everyone deals with grief in their own personal way and within their own time frame. This too should be taken into consideration.
