Ogre Licks You For Real | Lump the Enlightened | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 7

Spell Guide | Level 1 Arcane Spells | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 6

BriConRPG 2022-01-02 | In the Arcane Spells Tier List (Level 1), I loosely rank the first level spells available to wizards, sorcerers, and warlocks. Splitting spells between Arcane and Divine is sort of an outdated thing from previous editions, but it's a quick way to compare say a cleric's spell options with cleric spells and not include wizard and sorcerer spells in the list. Basically, it makes the information a little more targeted at a character choosing which spells to prepare.

Shadowheart Explains the Helmet | Sorcerer Dialogue | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 6

When inquired about it by Tav, she usually brushes it off and insists on moving forward. Wyll Talks About Spike | Blade of Frontiers | Companion Dialogue | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 6

BriConRPG 2021-12-09 | Wyll loses his cool at the windmill when he catches sight of Fezzerk, a goblin he recognizes from Spike's crew. After a rough interrogation to the chagrin of the other party members, Wyll drinks some brandy back at camp and speaks with Tav about his behavior. He also tells the story of how he lost his eye just before making a questionable statement about what he plans to do about the goblins in the area.

This conversation only occurs if you have not yet discovered the nature of Wyll's spellcasting ability. Otherwise, this conversation revolves around his warlock patron, the cambion Mizora.

A tier list for level 1 divine spells. There's no official distinction between divine and arcane spells, but categorizing them as such allows us to compare spells to other options that will be had for particular spellcasters. In this case, we are looking at Clerics, Druids and Rangers.

A spell will be on this list if it is given to the base class of Cleric, Druid, or Ranger. If it is granted to a subclass of those classes, but not any of the base classes, you won't find it here.

This proved to be quite an ambitious endeavor and took much longer than expected, but I'm going to follow through with level 2 spells as well as the arcane lists and cantrips, too. I hope this helps some newcomers to understand how some of the spells work and informs as to how most useful they can be.

The Laughing Amulet | Grymforge | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 6

BriConRPG 2021-11-16 | Exploring Grymforge, Helgulfr comes across an amulet with the holy symbol of Lathander attached to it. It is soon discovered to be a sentient amulet, as a laughing monk speaks to him and attempts to force laughter upon him, perhaps Hideous Laughter? Either way, it seems to be an overall benevolent spirit that wishes only to return home. This is Early Access, so the Wyrm's Gate is not accessible yet, so we'll have to wait and see if this laughing monk is honest.

BriConRPG 2021-09-24 | Originally the wand from the Hag, Auntie Ethel, could be used an unlimited number of times to summon a neigh infinite zombie army. Since being patched, summoning a new zombie will destroy the old Connor... well... if the same person summons it.

If the zombie wand is transferred to another character in an attempt to summon a second zombie, that will also destroy the wand. But what about "magic pockets"? Your companions have access to your inventory without ever having to transfer an item. So, Second Marriage (once Bitter Divorce) can remain in one character's inventory while the other characters use it. In this way I was able to have Tav, Astarion, Gale, and Wyll all summon their own zombies.

Betraying Astarion to Gandrel | Baldurs Gate 3 | Patch 5

Astarion is a vampire spawn on the run from his former master, Cazador. The Gur represent a painful moment in Astarion's mortal life and the dawn of his life as a spawn under Cazador. When he stumbles across a Gur named Gandrel hunting a vampire spawn named Astarion, he knows exactly what to do next and stabs him directly in his eye.

The audio work is incomplete here, as the game is in Early Access. But, perhaps in the next update we can hear Gandrel scream in pain from the stab wound.
