NEW STAGES SHOWCASE [2022] - Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Clash of Ninja Itsuchi2 2022-01-13 | After recently accomplishing semi-transparent objects, I wanted to add a new stage. But normally adding a new stage takes about 2-3 hours due to a very tedious process (as shown in Test Video 14). So I put my genius to use and wrote a program that could do all of the tedious work for me. So now I can add new stages in as little as 20-30 minutes! And even quicker if they don't have semi-transparent objects. With this new program, I went on and added 5 new stages. They look fantastic to me!Again, these are just test stages so I have something pretty to look at while designing movesets. The final stages will be...different. That's about all I can say without spoiling the super secret thing that I'm hiding. Lol. But hey, at least the assets import with few issues. The coloring is weird (I'm being lazy with post-processing effects). But otherwise, hope you like it.Oh, and some of the stages have been renamed to better fit what they are. Instead of having "first half" and "last half", each stage will have a unique name. SEMI-TRANSPARENT STAGE OBJECTS | Naruto Project CLASH - Developers VLOG 3 Itsuchi2 2022-01-11 | After 2 nights of work (and being unable to figure this out since November 2020) I FINALLY figured out how to get semi-transparent stage objects to work properly! Technique used is dithering (using a custom shader). Had to rewrite the code to make sure it was intuitive and easy to apply to any object. Only glitch so far is that live shadows do not display behind these semi-transparent objects. Not super noticeable behind smaller objects like rails or beams. But will for sure be noticeable behind walls (like on Warehouse Rd stage for example). It's almost like I can't win lol. But for now, the most important thing is that the objects will now render properly when semi-transparent, unlike before.

But alas, after 3 days of failed attempts, I finally got it working. Also had to tweak the camera (forgot to mention in video). Had to program the camera’s zoom out functionality to account for vertical distance to ensure both players are visible on screen at all times, particularly when there is a great vertical distance between both players.
