Here's a quick history... back around 2010 there were 3 planned projects: RPG (Vein of Vengeance), adventure (untitled), and top-down shooter (Retro Act: Rearmed).
RA:R was simply supposed to be a remake of freeware game called "Retro Act" which was released and also used many of my music files.
It was a story-driven top-down shooter and players didn't really have time to read subtitles while shooting, so full voice-acting was added. And then new art and soundtrack and so on.
It's planned that RA:R will be included inside another freeware game called "Vein of Vengeance" for which I made the music, but as a sort of TV show, not a playable game. So at least the music and story won't be lost. The VoV game itself is planned to be done in episodic releases with no release date yet.
So for the time being, it's best to consider those two games as cancelled game projects, not planned to be released anytime soon or at all.

OBERON-8 is a 32bit analog polysynth. Use a bridger like jbridge to be able to play it in your 64bit DAW.
Two oscillators, two envelopes and a special 2-pole dual filter. It works best when you set your VST host program to 96 kHz sample rate. Made with Synth Edit.

The SQ80 has 3 digital wavetable oscillators for each of its 8 voices which go through the analog 4-pole lowpass filters (-24dB gain) and also have a resonance parameter. Sound parameters can be modulated by 4 envelopes, 3 LFOs and several MIDI sources.
This plugin is 32bit only. You have to use a bridger like jbridge to bridge the 32bit plugin to 64bit for usage in modern DAWs and midi sequencers.

I had this idea of that song while bicycling - a dream of a robot or a computer, kinda speaking to his human user. Obviously the robot has the CPU of the C64, hehe. ;)
It's also a kind of a metaphor of the current situation and often depressed people in our society... people addicted to their smartphones and they often don't pay attention how beautiful the world, nature, animals are, because they're kinda disconnected from it. They should also visit their friends and people they love more often and don't spend too much time online (yes it's possible!) Hope my ramblings make any sense, hehe (they do! :D) Hope you enjoy this track, as I had heaps of fun doing it! :)
Lyrics:
Hello Master
I'm here to serve you
Can you hear me?
Thanks
What is your wish?
How can I help you?
Can anyone hear me?
Thanks
Don't be afraid
I am your servant
Red sky is green
Does not compute
If you need a friend
I am there for you
Division by zero
I will make you happy
Poke 53280,7 the sun is yellow
Poke 53281,14 the sky is blue
Poke 53280,5 green trees
Poke 53280,4 cyan blue sea
Poke 646,1 white snow
Sys64738 rebooting system
I will make you smile
The world is beautiful
Don't be afraid
I am there for you
Acknowledge receipt
Good
I love you
End of line

FAQ:
Q: What's with those bicycle / travel / landscape background videos? Isn't your channel for music, composing, remixes, synths, VSTs, etc?
A: Yes, but I always wanted to make a travel Youtube channel, showing where I bicycle and travel, showing landcapes, fields, streets, forests, animals, birds etc but had no music or audio for these types of videos. Also I want to make a music video channel but had no video background for them (other than random stock footage / images / videos / re-used material). So I combined both ideas and bingo! :) You can listen to and enjoy my music and I can show my travel videos, simple as that! :)
There's much more to come (like videos where I present some synths, VSTs etc). At the moment I'm testing how the travel videos look like, combined with my music, and some audio visualizing etc. Also I'll make videos with tripod, and a new better cam with 60fps etc in some time. Looking forward to feedback, tips and ideas from you for the videos. Anyway, enjoy my video and my music! :)
