So after turning to the ways of medicine cats before him, his adoration turned to obsession; wanting to learn and know everything under the sky, and all in the blanketed want for immortality.So after moons of searching, he sought what he called the Omencave, where a spirit waited for him to ask him his wishes. He reveals what he wants to them, and he is given immortality and omniscience; now becoming a living god. He is initially content about this and lives his life in Ridgeclan.He wouldn't realize the gravity of his actions until the death of his sister, Blazefire. He soon realized them further when he began to outlive his clanmates and leaders without any signs of aging or dying. Growing ever so desperate to join them in the afterlife, he tries to beg to take his wish back. When it doesn't work, for the spirit wasn't associated with Starclan, he turns to the Dark Forest having heard tales of water that killed and cats that were violent. He came back with only three gashes that were supposed to be fatal, but he still lived without signs of anything.Finding the spirit again, he learns that even they cannot return the wish as only one is granted to any cat that finds them, something he overlooked in favor of his initial selfishness.
