For two-plus hours, Anthrax performed an extensive set of hits and deep cuts pulled from their vast catalog. Today, Anthrax announces that the entire performance, plus never-before-seen rehearsal footage and Scott Ian’s New York City “walking tour,” pointing out the spots that played a role in Anthrax’s formation and history, will be released in North America on July 15 on Blu-Ray and Digital (Megaforce).
“Anthrax XL" will also have a European Digital release on July 15 (Nuclear Blast), followed by a Blu-Ray release later this year.

Anthrax 2021-10-22 | ANTHRAX - Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Scott Ian, Joey Belladonna, and Jon Donais - made a special appearance at the New York Comic Con earlier this month, in support of the band's graphic novel, "Among The Living," released in July via Z2 Comics. In addition to signing copies of “Among The Living” and taking photos with fans, Anthrax reunited with Public Enemy’s Chuck D for a Q&A session celebrating their 1991 landmark collaboration of “Bring The Noise.”

ANTHRAX XL THE BANDS 40th ANNIVERSARY BOURBON WHISKEY HILLROCK

Anthrax 2021-08-26 | Today, the band announces the release of its 40th anniversary, high-end spirit, "Anthrax XL" (Roman numerals for 40), a smooth Solera-aged, single- barrel bourbon finished for 40 days in a 20-year old Oloroso Sherry cask, providing the spirits with balanced flavors and layers of complexity.

Only one barrel of "Anthrax XL" has been produced, yielding 400 hand-numbered bottles at a cask strength of 115 proof. Each bottle features the band members' signatures, and is encased in a black drawstring velvet gift bag emblazoned with the Anthrax XL logo, with a suggested retail price of $155. Additionally, 40 limited edition numbered bottles will be available.

Each limited edition bottle is also housed in a black drawstring velvet gift bag, imprinted with the Anthrax XL logo, then packed in a customized box encased in a SilverFoil card stock wrap-around. Each limited edition item comes with a Golden Ticket, printed and debossed on gold foil-coated-card stock. The Golden Ticket awards the purchaser and a guest admission to an Anthrax headline concert in the purchaser's area and includes a special in-person Meet & Greet with the band to take place during Anthrax's 2022 U.S. tour.

Still celebrating its 40-year tenure as one of music's premier thrash metal bands, Anthrax announces its first European tour since the summer of 2019. Kicking off on September 27, 2022 in Birmingham, England, the band will play 28 dates in 16 countries, wrapping up in Zurich, Switzerland on November 5. Crossover thrash band Municipal Waste will support on all dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 20 at 10AM BST, 11AM CET; go to www.anthrax.com for all purchasing information.

"It sure has been a long time since we rock’n’rolled in the UK and Europe,” said Anthrax’s Charlie Benante, "but we’re coming back soon to bring the noise to all of you guys. The countdown to July 18, the 40th-anniversary of thrash/metal legends Anthrax, is well underway and heading towards the big finale. The 40-minute “guerilla-style” DVD was shot when Anthrax was on the “No Prayer on the Road” tour with Iron Maiden in 1991 and features live footage of Benante taking over the drums for Iron Maiden’s Nick McBrain, as well as backstage and dressing room footage with members of both bands. The piece wraps with Benante, Bello, and Ian joining Iron Maiden on stage for the final song of the night, "Sanctuary."

The Persistence of Time 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition is set for an August 21, 2020 release (Megaforce Records), exactly 30 years after its original release. Available exclusively on disc and vinyl, the CD package will include two CDs and one DVD, the vinyl edition will offer four LPs as well as revised cover art that reflects what had been the album’s original visual concept.
The 40-minute “guerilla-style” DVD was shot when Anthrax was on the “No Prayer on the Road” tour with Iron Maiden in 1991 and features live footage of Benante taking over the drums for Iron Maiden’s Nick McBrain, as well as backstage and dressing room footage with members of both bands. The piece wraps with Benante, Bello, and Ian joining Iron Maiden on stage for the final song of the night, "Sanctuary."
