How I changed my life 90 days (& you can too) The Unexpected Gypsy 2024-09-29 | ✨How I changed my life 90 days (& you can too) I changed my eating habits to healthy ones, aimed for sobriety and then gave up alcohol, lost weight as part of the process, eliminated caffienated coffee and ultra processed foods, made additions of specific supplements, decluttered my house and studio, organised everything, found new storage solutions. I've basically let my stuff go on every level; emotional baggage, sad memories, grief, as-well-as lots of physical clutter too. I have stayed the course on this quest and now feel lighter, brighter, have loads more energy and a much more uplifted outlook on life. (Which is saying alot right now with the current state of things!) My ulterior motive for posting this video is to encourage you that if I can do it, you can do it too... The Power of Letting Go; stuff, weight, the past, people, comparisons... The Unexpected Gypsy 2024-09-01 | ✨It's Time to make a start, yes it is... The Power to Let it all Go ~ stuff, weight, the past, (even) people, let them go, comparisons, guilt, other people's opinions... I'm letting go on so many levels atm, an early autumn release of my leaves! My deep decluttering is in process, James has helped with some diy and also helps keep me motivated when I become overwhelmed. I have found some wonderful storage solutions to organize all my art supplies and cleaned up my studio as I have gone along. I have also been doing the same at home! As well as letting go of a lot of my stuff, I have also changed my diet, letting go of ultra processed foods, caffiene, alcohol and have been losing some weight on this journey too. With new eating habits, I feel energized, reset, restored and have a much lighter and positive outlook these days. Clearing my clutter from my spaces (and my body!) has been challenging, an emotional process and a lot of hard dusty work some days too. But, I am so happy I am doing it; mind, body, rooms and soul! But, starting over later in life, after 40, 50, 60, 70 and beyond is entirely possible. Living life without regret! Many of us fail to start anything new because we feel it’s too late to start over. Do we feel it’s too late to start and that we are too old now to even bother! I believe it’s never too late to create your best life and start living it. I achieved success being an artist in my 50s after starting over in my 40s. Whether it’s starting a new hobby, learning how to draw, paint, revisiting an old passion or creating material success, it’s absolutely doable. It’s also very beneficial for our health; physical, mental,spiritual and psychological. Growing older is a gift and can open up time for us to do the things we have always wanted to do, so I say, go for it! Now’s the time! I’m also sharing my own personal story in this video from being a single mum, college and art school later in life and completely restarting my life after 40. Now in my 50s I have created the life I always dreamed of living! It’s by no means perfect and still bumpy at times, but it happened only after I took some risks and took a few leaps of faith!
