KlimThe Ai-1 Airbag Vest and In&Box DPP (Detect-Protect-Perfect) platform is the first continually evolving motorcycle protection technology driven by artificial intelligence. The In&Box detection module offers unprecedented crash sensitivity through continuous algorithm updates. The Ai-1 vest is comfortable and low-profile for use with any riding jacket, and is one of the highest rated motorcycle airbag systems available. Ride protected by the smartest system in motorcycle airbag technology.
FAQ about the In&motion system and services:
1: Do I have to subscribe to an In&motion detection mode for this vest to work? Answer: No. You can either buy the service outright, or choose from a monthly or annual subscription model. The goal with offering a subscription model is to lower the initial financial barrier to using an airbag vest. After 3-4 years (depending on which modes you choose) the subscription cost matches the outright purchase cost. Choose what works best for you.
2. If I don’t want a monthly or annual subscription, can I still get this airbag vest? Answer: Yes. You can purchase the vest and algorithm service outright and not have to worry about subscriptions.
3. If I suspend/pause my subscription and forget to reactivate it, will the vest still detect a crash and inflate? Answer: No, because in the first place you won’t be able to turn it on into ride-ready status before your ride. It will not “trick” you into thinking it’s active when it is not, because the LED indicators will warn you that it’s not active. If you ignore the LED indicators warning you that the airbag isn’t active, you can’t expect it to work when you’re not actively subscribed.
4. If I’m subscribed monthly and miss a payment or my credit card expires, will the airbag suddenly stop working? Answer: No. In&motion will reach out with a 30-day warning prior to your payment method expiration. After expiration or missed/forgotten payment, In&motion gives you a 30-day grace period during which the airbag functions completely the same. You will receive notifications about the missed payment. After the 30-day grace period, the airbag will stop detecting crashes until payment is resumed. You will not be able to turn on your airbag vest into ride-ready status after the 30-day grace period, so you won’t unknowingly ride with a non-functioning vest, unless you choose to ignore the LED indicators warning that it isn’t active.
5. Would In&motion turn off my vest mid-ride if I pass the 30-day grace period? Answer: No. In&motion will not turn off your vest mid-ride for any reason, even if you’re at the end of the 30-day grace period and it elapses during your ride. The only way for it to turn off during a ride is if you didn’t charge the In&box and the battery dies (LEDs indicate battery level, which you see when you turn it on) or if you manually turn it off during your ride.

We learn a little more about Matt, a KLIM Backcountry Team athlete, and what drives the whole family-oriented hosting experience at the Mountain Skillz lodge in South Fork, Colorado, which he has owned with his wife, Jesse, since 2012.
“Pretty awesome classroom we’re working in here,” Matt tells students, offering immediate feedback and individual coaching and on the snow. “We want to be planning at all times about three or four moves ahead - that’s how far ahead we want to be looking.”
The group reminisces on all the missions they’ve accomplished in two days, hitting steep, tight sidehills, finding balance on the sled and eventually exceeding their own expectations for themselves; it’s why they keep coming back year after year.Getting Schooled with Matt Entz | Tree Lines & Good Times | Day 1Klim2023-11-15 | Big smiles lasted all day, getting wider as Day 1 went on at the Mountain Skillz lodge in South Fork, Colorado, for the two-day snowmobile workshop with KLIM Backcountry Team athlete, Matt Entz, who offers one-on-one tips and tricks for groups of all riding riding abilities — he even pitches in as a mechanic when needed out on the trail. A group of mostly returning students show Matt how they’ve progressed since their last visit to the San Juan Mountain lodge, which opened in 2012. “We want to do stuff because it’s going to work — that’s how we want to approach it,” Matt tells the group before the ride. “Committing to the throttle, the wheelie and looking where you want to go are key.” Episode 2 of Getting Schooled with Matt Entz gets a little rowdy in the crusty snow, picking up pointers along the way, before stopping for a hot lunch by the trailside fire. We could watch this stuff all day!The Story Behind Matt Entz Mountain Skillz Snowmobile ClinicsKlim2023-11-08 | Ever wonder what it’s like to attend a two-day snowmobile workshop with KLIM Backcountry Team athlete, Matt Entz, and stay at the Mountain Skillz lodge in South Fork, Colorado – complete with Entz family breakfast and dinner — Matt’s wife Jesse, with the help of their daughters, cook up some mean meals.
Bellies full, the experience starts with a quick stop at the couple’s on-site KLIM dealership for any forgotten last-minute gear, a quick check of the avalanche conditions along with a pre-ride safety pep talk and beacon check, before taking off to train in the backcountry and work on specific drills.
“I didn’t realize how much I was actually going to enjoy working with people and teaching them and how rewarding that was going to be,” Matt told us. “Helping people enjoy this snowmobiling experience more is what it’s all about and it really continues to drive me.”Going big in Wyoming | KLIM Backcountry Team rideKlim2023-11-01 | All 13 members of the 2023 KLIM Backcountry Team showed up to KLIM HQ in Rigby, Idaho, to test product and provide feedback before taking off to Wyoming for “the most kick-butt day that you could ever imagine.”
The KLIM Backcountry Team, founded in 2015, further extends KLIM’s purpose-driven mission to enhance the riding experience while helping fuel avalanche awareness and education for backcountry users. And most importantly, they’re some of the best riders and racers on Earth.
“What’s awesome about snowmobiling in general – no matter how good you are, you will never, ever beat the mountain,” Chris said. “There’s always something harder and steeper and deeper that you’re going to fail at, and that’s what keeps these guys coming back.”
What a ride!

KLIM.comRiding Sleds in Chile with Dan Adams & Matt EntzKlim2023-08-23 | We teamed up with Sled Chile to give away an all-expense-paid snowmobile dream vacation to ride with some of our Backcountry Team members in South America in the heat of summer. How? We ran an Avalanche Safety Contest last winter to bring the winners, Nick and Olivia, along with KLIM BCT athletes, Dan Adams from Nxt Lvl Riding Clinics, Matt Entz from Mountain Skillz and KLIM’s Snow Athlete Manager, Dustin Pancheri, to the mountains of South America for an epic adventure.
Getting to Chile was challenging enough, and once we got there, we were in for a treat with Sled Chile host, Skylar Tolgate, leading us high into the Andes Mountains. Conditions were unseasonably warm so we didn't get the epic snow we were hoping for, but any day on a sled in July is hard to beat. Bonus: We got to ride on top of a volcano!
