NC public high school students at participating partner schools can supplement the curriculum offered in their home high school by taking tuition-free, honors-level, and AP courses in STEM and humanities from NCSSM via interactive video conferencing. The program offers a variety of honors level and AP courses such as honors aerospace engineering, honors physics, honors African American Studies, and advanced level math courses that may otherwise be unavailable.
There is no student application to NCSSM for NCSSM Connect courses; however, some courses do have prerequisites. Students should contact their school counselor if they are interested in taking an NCSSM Connect course.
