tuji Bri Botsford thought so too which is why she wanted us to join her on her hike along the Nottawasaga Bluffs portion of the world famous Bruce Trail near Toronto, Ontario. Here's your guide to one of her favourite trails to wander on.
To get to Nottawasaga Bluffs Lookout from Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway West to the 427 to the 410 North. Continue up Hwy 10 then turn right on Dufferin Road 124 and follow the signs.
The main trail here is the Bruce trail and it's really well marked but there are a whole heap of fun side trails to explore. They're really well marked and worth a wander because they lead to all kinds of interesting rock formations, caverns and creeks. The hike is not strenuous but be sure to wear proper footwear because it can be a bit rocky and steep in places. Oh, and leave the cell phone parked because you're going to want to use your hands - there just might be a little bit of scrambling if you pick the right trail.
Thanks to Bri for contributing this tuji-selfie video. If you liked this walk in the woods - please share it and like it. Did you give this trail a try? Share your pics with us on Facebook or Instagram.
Want to show us your favourite trail and have your tuji-selfie video featured on tuja wellness? Drop us a comment or send us a quick email and we'll get you set up with the how-to.

Yoga teacher Niki Boileau shows us the three yoga poses she likes to do before settling into a meditation session. The focus of these poses is to open up your hips and lower back to ensure that you can find comfort whether you are meditating for 5 minutes or fifty. There is nothing worse than trying to meditate and being distracted by stiffness, joint pain or sudden cramps.
Whether you're new to yoga or a long practicing yogi, these three poses will help you stay focused on the meditation.
Want more? Niki also hosts a 13 minute yoga flow video developed specifically to prepare you for meditation. It's all part of tuja's Learn to Meditate Premium Experience: a 40 Day program to help you get started or expand your meditation practice through daily guided meditations. In this video edition of Tweak & Eat, Registered Nutritionist and tuja Columnist, Niki Boileau shows us how to make a gluten-free, raw version of a pad thai noodle dish.
Niki starts by spiralizing zucchini but don't worry, if you don't have a spiralizer (fancy name for a hand-cranked veggie slicer) you can use a mandolin or basic peeler. For this recipe, you'll need zucchini, carrots, fresh cilantro, peanuts, black and white sesame seeds and lime wedges. The scrumptious sauce is made from scratch using ginger, sesame oil, peanut butter, red pepper flakes (or fresh chilis), gluten-free soy sauce or tamari, honey and lime juice. Tip: make extra sauce - it goes great on salad or rice or noodles or anything, really. In case you haven't noticed - we LOVE this dressing!
So, if you're in need of an impressive meal to take to the next potluck picnic - you've found it. We guarantee you'll catch someone licking the plate!
Warning - this dish can be addictive (but it's okay because it's super healthy).
Did you give it a go? Tell us how you liked it. And if you loved it, don't keep it to yourself. Share and like this video and post your comments over on our website.

In this video, meditation instructor Carolyn Anne Budgell shows us three of the most popular body positions conducive for meditation. She shares tips on getting comfortable in a reclined position (much like you might do in savasana during a yoga class). She also shows us how to sit in meditation in a chair and in a traditional seated position (with some variations).
If you're trying to learn how to meditate it's important to find the position that works best for you and allows you to focus on the act of meditating. The less your body distracts you, the more you can focus on the meditation.

In this video edition of Tweak & Eat, Niki Boileau shows us the simple steps involved in making a high energy breakfast that doesn't require setting the alarm early. In her classic tweak and eat style, she takes the tired overnight oats trend and wakes it up with a jolt of green tea matcha for a highly nutritious and energy boosting brekkie.
Niki's recipe calls for green tea powder (aka matcha), organic mint tea, almond milk, maple syrup or honey, dried oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, puffed quinoa, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, strawberries (or any fresh berries you like). The toppings can be changed up for variety or to match your tastes. This recipe is already vegan but if you want to make it gluten-free too, just use gluten-free oats.
The best part of this nutrient-packed breakfast is that you make it the night before so you can hit snooze one extra time. What a decadent and delicious way to start the day.
If you like this bright start to the day, spread the love by liking and sharing this video. We'd love to hear how your overnight oats turned out - what's on your overnight oats? Post your comments over on our website.

In this video edition of Tweak & Eat, Niki Boileau shows us how to make a simple and nutrient-packed soup. This vegan recipe is chock full of detox-approved veggies and made silky with a little coconut milk.
Niki's recipe calls for onions, fennel, celery, garlic, vegetable stock, fresh parsley, cilantro, mint, spinach, coconut milk and some spices (all organic). The beautiful thing about this soup is that it works with pretty much any greens and is flexible enough for you to sub in your favourite vegetables. If we were on a detox diet, this would make it everything all right!
Got some veggies sitting in you fridge looking for a party? This is the soup to get them in. It's even good in a travel mug if you're on the go. Slurp.

Kathrin Brunner from For the Love of Body shows us how to make all-natural lip balm so we can avoid the chemicals found in many store-bought lipsticks.
There are just a few simple steps in making this naturally scented, super-moisturizing lip balm. She even shows us how to make tinted lip balm. And since you're in control you could go with just a hint of colour, a slight shimmer or turn your homemade lip balm into a sexy chemical-free lipstick.
For this DIY project, you'll need beeswax, olive oil, shea butter, vitamin E oil, your favourite essential oil (we love peppermint, vanilla, citrus or a blend) and some empty lip balm containers of choice. If you want to add a tint, you'll also need some mica in your select colour.
A lot of these ingredients come in bulk, so we suggest getting some friends together and having a lip balm making party. Or, just follow Kathrin's tips for storage and you'll never run out of lip balm again.
Pucker up. With this easy lip balm making recipe you'll have supple, sexy lips and plenty of saved cash to kiss.
Does this money-saving, eco-friendly video make you want to give us a big smooch? Give us a like and a share, and we'll consider ourselves smooched. If you tried this recipe out, we'd love to see how your pucker turned out. Send us a photo or a comment over on tuja wellness.

A special thanks to Kathrin for sharing her knowledge and passion and to Loft 404 in Toronto for hosting us.
Our recipe calls for a sweet almond oil base (the masseuses choice oil) blended with some extra-moisturizing Argan oil. To give it a scent that will battle stress, we added frankincense, lavender and vanilla.
Frankincense is a fantastic scent for decreasing anxiety and stress and for promoting inner peace and a good nights rest. Lavender is a favourite in the aromatherapy world for a myriad of things but in this mix, it helps to provide minor pain relief and and relax stiff muscles. And, the vanilla. Who doesn't love vanilla? We blend this scent in for the sheer comfort of this universally loved happy smell.
Mix up a bottle of this super-soothing massage oil and get ready to massage away all of that stress and tension.
We recommend using a glass bottle which you can often find at your health food stores. To find a health food store near you, check out the tuja wellness directory.

tuja's Tweak and Eat columnist, Niki Boileau walks us through the process. Good bone broth takes a while to make, but it won't take a lot of your time. It's a perfect Sunday activity that will yield you lots of yummy bone broth for breakfast all week.
For breakfast? Yep, you read right. This healthy sip is a great way to start the day because it's loaded with minerals like calcium and magnesium plus it helps support the immune system, digestion and bone health. Not a bad way to kick off the day, right?
If you still need some motivation to slurp some bone broth, how about your skin? Bone broth is also reported to be great for you complexion and even reduce cellulite - thanks to all of that natural collagen, gelatin and silicon you're pulling from those bones.
Follow this simple recipe that includes organic chicken bones (you can purchase these at a health food store from the deli or in the freezer). After it's simmered for a few hours, you add vegetable ends (like carrots, parsnips, celery and onion) and some spices. Then, let it simmer for a whole lot longer before adding the last of the spices and straining your healthy hot broth.
One slurp of this potent health drink and you'll be skipping your morning tea to sip bone broth instead.
Are you a fan of this health trend? Tell us what you love about it and what your bone broth recipe includes in the comments below or over on our website, tujawellness.com We love to hear from you, even if it's just a thumbs-up like on the video.

It's easy to get caught up in life and keep pushing meditation down the priority list. Whether you're busy, you get bored or you struggle to stick with it, Grace Dubery explains how each of these excuses is actually all the more reason to work on your practice.
We all know that meditation benefits our minds and bodies and that it can increase our overall happiness. So, skip the excuses and get in your zen time. And if you still think you've got a legitimate excuse for skipping it, take a listen to what Grace has to say.

This super simple project requires a large eye wool needle, some yarn for sewing with, an old sweater that your dog or cat would love to snuggle up to (smells like you) and one or two old pillows (depending on the size of your sweater and thickness of your old pillows). Oh, and a very basic (and we mean basic) understanding of hand stitching.
In this example, we show you how to take a medium men's sweater, stitch it and stuff it (with two flat pillows) to make a comfy & cozy bed for Gepetto, our favourite lap dog. Ever since he got this bed, he's curled up in it every night and has the sweetest dreams!
Did you convert one of your favourite old sweaters into a bed for your favourite pet? We'd love to hear about it in the comments below or over on tuja wellness. If you love this upcycled dog bed, be sure to give us a treat (aka like) and share the love.

If you're a fan of Mexican food but not a fan of the fat and calories that usually come along for the ride, these tacos are you're saviour.
Kris Osborne shares her take on vegan tacos as part of her Snack Attack column. But, if you're anything like us, you won't be able to stop at one or two. We suggest you just go ahead and make a bunch and call it a meal.
These delicious bites are made with fresh lettuce, ground up nuts and spices (aka nut meat), fresh pico de gallo (tomato salsa) and slices of avocado. Serve these little babies up at as an appetizer at a party (kids love them) or keep them all to yourself. Just be sure to keep this recipe handy because (fair warning) they're a bit addictive.
Prepare to be surprised at just how delicioso these raw and vegan tacos are. Both your health and your mouth will be saying gracias.

Special thanks to Nala the Boxer who happily begged for more cookies on cue.
The problem with beards, for those who have to face them instead of wear them, is that they can be bristly and entirely un-kissable. Nobody wants that! This simple oil not only softens the beard and tames wayward whiskers but also keeps it smelling nice.
This DIY recipe calls for a combination of almond oil and argan oil with our favourite masculine blended of essential oils. We use orange, bergamot and sandalwood but you can play around with a personal blend of your vary own. You could try any other citrus, cedarwood, patchouli, oakmoss, frankincense, or pepper black (not to be confused with black pepper - ouch). A nice blend will often have 2-3 scents so try a few out and find your personal favourite. You can find those cute little mixing bottles at many health food stores (we've noted them at Nature's Fare and Choices).
To apply, place a few drops in your palm, rub together and massage through the beard being sure to get the oil from the skin to the whisker tip. Spend a bit of time working it in, then use the rest to bring those ornery whiskers in line. Not only will it soften and control the beard but it will also condition the skin underneath.
Now that you've got that beard tamed and smelling good, those lips will be kissable once again!
You're welcome, ladies (and gentlemen).

Popular in the summer, this trail's parking lot is well marked from the Highway 1. The trail is actually within Kootenay National Park - a total gem of a park that positively sparkles when covered in snow.
Strap on those snowshoes and discover the serenity of snow covered pines and icy canyons. You might have the place to yourself or you might get a chance to check out a few ice climbers braving the walls of the canyon.
To get to Marble Canyon from Banff, drive west on Highway 1 toward the BC border. Twenty minutes past Banff, you'll reach Castle Mountain Junction where you can follow the signs for both Kootenay Mountain Park and Radium Hot Springs. Take Highway 93 south for 17 kilometers, when you should spot a big yellow and blue sign that says Marble Canyon. Pull in to the parking lot, strap on your snowshoes and follow the trail signs. These trails are well marked but be aware that they may be just above the snow's surface depending on how deep the snow is!
Happy snowshoeing! If you try this trail out, please leave us a comment and let us know how you enjoyed it.

It's not a healthy relationship when we fear the food or our desire for food. That's something that nutritionist Lynsey Walker of Lynsey Loves Food wants us to know.
She's been there. She knows first had the slippery slope when loving (but avoiding) bad food leads to a fear of that food and sometimes some not so loving feelings about yourself. So, can you let go of your fear of food for the sake of your own health?
Take 60 seconds and hear what Lynsey has to say about escaping the fear of food.
What do you think? Is it healthy to fear food or did Lynsey inspire you to let go of that? Share your comments below or over on our website.

Whether you've developed a history of groin issues from running, cross country skiing or busting a move at the last house party, you want to protect that area and avoid it becoming a chronic issue. Because, let's face it, just not doing those activities isn't the answer.
The first step in avoiding groin issues from flaring up is to pay better attention. When those muscles get tight or when you're about to do an exercise where you historically have issues, it's time for a little preventative stretching.
In this video, physiotherapist, Jean Lewis shows us how to loosen up the groin area with a gentle stretch. This simple stretch (read - you can do it while you're watching TV) will also improve your flexibility over time. Luckily, Jean also shows us how to progress this stretch as our flexibility improves.
And, you know what comes from improved flexibility? Even wilder free-expression dance moves. Oh, and relief from chronic groin pain. But, the sweet moves... ah yeah, clear the dance floor.
Special thanks to Jean, Melina & the folks at Gastown Physio & Pilates in Vancouver, BC!

And, while this uber-healthy beverage is tasty on it's own, we can't resist a little extra flavour. Add variety to your kombucha repertoire by following this double fermentation and flavouring process.
Kathrin Brunner from For the Love of Body in Toronto returns in this video to show us the processes of a secondary fermentation that will infuse your kombucha with flavour. It's a simple process and is limited only by your creativity and your own personal taste.
So, scoop out your scoby and let's get experimenting with some double-fermented, flavoured kombucha.

All that's required are some of your favourite essential oils (we recommend using peppermint or a citrus to help keep you alert) and some natural wool felt (make sure it's natural - many stores carry recycled plastic 'felt' now and those will not work with this project). Now, grab some scissors, channel your crafty mojo and you'll have a sweet smelling ride in no time.
These fun car air fresheners last a really long time - just re-apply the essential oil when it starts to dissipate. Avoid hanging them from your mirror as this can be a driving distraction - ours are tied to our vents for max-flow.
Once you switch to natural, you'll never go back. There's less waste and you may even find that you get fewer headaches because your car air won't be laced with toxins. Many car air fresheners have been found to contain pthalates and other chemicals that have been linked to hormonal and developmental problems (especially in infants) and can cause chemical sensitivity symptoms like headaches, mood swings and dizziness.
Skip the chemicals and go with a fun and funky DIY natural car air freshener - it's good for the planet and your passengers.
Oh, and the stank from your early morning hot yoga class gear will no longer cause you to almost pass out behind the wheel. We think this video deserves a like just for that!
Did you get your craft on and make some chemical-free car danglers? We'd love to see them on our social media channels or our website, tujawellness.com

Pulling a hammy can sideline you for a long time. Here's a stretch that can help you avoid that by keeping it nice and loose.
You don't want to mess around with your hamstring. Not only is it a major muscle but when it gets tight it can effect your entire gate, shift your pelvis and lead to back and hip pain. Ouch.
In this video, physiotherapist, Jean Lewis shows us how a very simple stretch can alleviate that tightness. And, she even shows us how to target the upper part of the hamstring to ensure you get a full stretch through the whole muscle.
Once your hamstrings are limber, you'll regain your good posture and start walking right again. That means you can get back to crushing it on the mountain, on the bike and on the track.
Special thanks to Jean, Melina & the folks at Gastown Physio & Pilates in Vancouver, BC!

tuja wellness contributor, Jessica McGovern wants to show you the way to her favourite swimming hole in Parc Régional des Chutes Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles near Sainte-Béatrix, QC. It's the perfect hike for Montrealers because it's just a short drive from the city but it feels like you are a world away. And, if you're not a hiker-hiker (like Jess) then this easy, breezy trail walk is perfect for you.
To get to des Chutes Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles, leave downtown Montreal traveling east and go North on 25 to get to the 40. Follow Autoroute 40E and then Autoroute 31 N until you get to QC 343 N. Follow route de Sainte Beatrix until you see signs for the park. It should take about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once you get to the park, there are plenty of maps making it hard to get lost.
There are plenty of trails to wander but follow Jessica's route to the swimming hole for an inspiring and refreshing hike through the woods. Don't forget your bathing suit (we won't tell if you decide to skip it ;))
Thanks to Jessica for contributing this tuji-selfie video. If you liked this nature break - please share it and like it. Did you give this hike & swim a try? Share your pics with us on Facebook or Instagram.
Want to show us your favourite trail and have your tuji-selfie video featured on tuja wellness? Drop us a comment or send us a quick email and we'll get you set up with the how-to.

tuja's resident healthy mixologist, Kris Osborne shows us how to juice up some goodness and spike it with some infused vodka. Grab your juicer and get ready to rev up the Green Machine.
Start by infusing your vodka with basil. While that's marinating, juice up some greens - including cucumber, mint, green apples and lime. Are you drooling yet?
Marry your infused vodka into your juice, pour over ice and garnish with mint. So healthy. So happy. Yin and yang.
Salute!
If the Green Machine got you revved up, cheers us back by liking and sharing this video. We need taste testers - if you juiced up this healthy happy hour cocktail, tell us how it turned out or share your favourite green juice cocktail in the comments below or over on tujawellness.com.

Courtney Sunday is on a mission to help people put a little more zen in their lives. Stress is one of the biggest and most common health risks we face today. As a mindfulness expert, she knows that even a few deep breaths, taking even 30 seconds to reset and be present, is immensely health-boosting. So, she hits the streets of Canada's biggest city armed with a 'Free Zen' sign to see if she can convince people to accept a spontaneous meditation.
It's a zenterruption! She offers to help people de-stress, to recapture happiness, to feel better, and to just slow down a little but does anyone take her up on her offer? She practically begs them to take a minute, 30 seconds, 15 seconds... Will they accept a free zenterruption in their day? Would you stop for a zenterruption? Could you?
Courtney is a meditation instructor, mindfulness expert and writes the Everyday Mindfulness column for tuja wellness. tuja wellness is a Canadian website committed to inspiring a healthier and more conscientious everyday through their articles, videos, podcasts and city directories & events. Kris Osborne, the woman behind tuja wellness' Snack Attack column confesses her sweet tooth. In this video recipe she shows us how she tames it by keeping this versatile and fruity jam on hand.
The jam takes very little time to make and requires only 5 ingredients; three types of berries (we used blueberry, raspberry and blackberry but you can use whatever is in season), honey (or the natural sweetener of your choice) and chia seeds. Those chia seeds are the magic in this recipe because they turn berry sauce into jam in no time flat.
With the jam made, the only thing left to do is enjoy and while Kris is tempted to just eat it straight up (no judgement) she does show us a few more sweet options including a healthy breakfast, a priobiotic power treat and an oh-so-decadent creamy fruit fool.
You could make this jam because it's a sweet treat or because it's full of healthy, antioxidant-rich fruit and chia seeds but know that, with so many ways to enjoy it, it never lasts long!
How will you eat your triple berry chia jam?

Dry shampoo is a favourite of moms, midday yogis and camping enthusiasts but it's also at the core of a new approach called the No Poo movement. No, this is not for people who just don't like fibre; it's for people who just don't believe that your hair needs scalp-drying, chemical-laden liquid soap - and they prefer to skip the shampoo cycle.
Whether you're looking to join the No Poo gang or you just like to have an emergency solution for when your boss suddenly moves the big meeting to five minutes after the completion of your yoga class while you're in your yoga class - we've got you covered.
Kathrin Brunner from For the Love of Body is back to show us how to have fresh-out-of-the-shower looking hair in no time even when there aren't any showers for miles.
For this DIY project, you'll need to get your hands on some organic cornstarch or arrowroot powder and some powder clay (try bentonite or kaolin). Plus, you'll want something natural to help the dry shampoo match your hair colour - try cocoa, cinnamon, green or pink clay work really well. Other than that, a spice jar to store it in and an old make-up brush for application and you've got your portable hair salon.
Not sure what to do with the dry shampoo? No worries, Kathrin also covers how to apply dry shampoo in this video. You know we want to help you looking good in your quest for balance and wellness.
If you think this video is looking good, please give us a big LIKE. While you're at it, why not share the No Poo revolution with your (sweaty) pals? We should all be smelling and looking good, don't you think? If you dig what we do, please subscribe. We publish helpful, healthy videos every week. Iced hibiscus tea has been serving as a thirst-quenching, heat-beating drink in Africa and the middle east for centuries. Belief in its health benefits have run the gamut of aiding in digestion to relieving anxiety and even treating diabetes.
While those remain to be scientifically tested, what we do know is that this tea brewed from dried flower pods has been proven to be good for maintaining healthy blood pressure and offers antioxidant benefits.
But enough about why it qualifies as a healthy cocktail, let's not forget that it's straight up delicious. Kris Osborne shows us how to mix up this ruby beauty and tops it all off with a cute little umbrella (why not be a little fancy, it's healthy happy hour!).
If you're on the hunt for honey simple syrup, it's a breeze to make. Simply mix 1 part honey to 1.5 parts water (for example, 1⁄2 cup of honey to 3⁄4 cup of water.) Put the water and honey in a pot over low heat and stir until the honey dissolves and the syrup becomes uniform. You can make as much simple syrup as you like. For this recipe, you need 1 tablespoon for one drink.
Salute!
If you like this recipe, cheers us back by liking and sharing this vid. Did you enjoy your drink? Tell us how it turned out or share any other cocktails you enjoy featuring the healthy superstar, hibiscus tea in the comments below or over on tujawellness.com

What you do after a workout or race will determine how you feel the next day and if you can train (or walk) the next day. Your post race nutrition plays a big roll in recovering well. We asked Ultraman athlete and triathlon coach, Andrea Guspie, to give us some pointers on rocking the recovery so that we're raring to go for another workout or race.
A lot of people who are just starting out with racing of any kind, plop themselves down on a couch after the workout pat themselves on the back. Then, they're surprised when they feel tired or have sore muscles later or the next day (or the day after that).
Replenishing your stocks is key to training successfully and recovering well after a race. Whether it's your very first try-a-tri or 10k or you're taking your racing to the next level with an Olympic distance triathlon, marathon or multi-day race, recovery will keep you going and make sure you not only make it to the finish line but make it to the start line! Having completed the multi-day Ultraman, Andrea knows what she's talking about.
This is the final video of a three-part video series from Andrea talking about fueling up before, during and after your race. While Andrea's expertise is in triathlon, this information is also good for any athlete especially those doing long distance running like marathons, trail running, adventure racing, hiking, skiing, or endurance cycling like a Granfondo.
Are you ready to rock your recovery now? If so please share and like this video.
Or, maybe you've already got a rock-solid recovery routine? Tell us all about it in the comments below or on our website.

Taking in nutrition may be the last thing from your mind come race day but fueling up during an endurance event (or a killer workout) is key if you want your body to perform optimally and get you to the finish line. We asked Ultraman athlete and triathlon coach, Andrea Guspie, to share what she does during a triathlon race and for some tips on staying fueled up.
These tips aren't just for Ironman or Ultraman - they apply to any endurance race over 90 minutes. So, whether you're tackling a sprint triathlon, a half marathon or stepping up to longer distances like the Olympic, full marathon or Ironman distance, these tips are for you.

Runners, office workers, hikers, swimmers and cyclists -- we're talking to you!
Having tight hips might not be immediately obvious to you but they can lead to other mysterious aches and pains in your back, legs and abdomen. The solution - stretch them out and loosen up those hips.
Here's a quick test to see if your hips are secretly tight. Try sitting cross legged right now. Oh, yeah - those hips are tight!
What's the best way to deal with tight hips? In this video, physiotherapist, Jean Lewis shows us how to get at the root of the problem with a simple and relaxing stretch that you can do in your own living room (even while watching TV). And, she'll show you the mistake that most people make when trying to loosen up their tight hips.
With nice open hips, your back, abdomen and legs will thank you - and so will your dance partner.
Special thanks to Jean, Melina & the folks at Gastown Physio & Pilates in Vancouver, BC!
Kathrin Brunner from For the Love of Body is back to show us a super easy recipe for an all-natural after-sun spray. It's perfect for cooling off after a hot day in the sun or treating itchy, painful, sun burnt skin.
For this DIY project, you'll need steeped and cooled chamomile tea, alcohol-free witch hazel, aloe vera juice (be sure it's natural and doesn't have sugar or flavours added) rose water (again, not perfumed water but actual rose water) and a glass or BPA-free spray bottle.
Put this DIY project on your list of things to do this week because having it ready and waiting in the fridge is just perfect for those emergency 'I can't believe how much sun I got' days (they happen) and even after a sweaty summer workout. The spray will store in your fridge all summer long (up to six months) so relief will always be chilled and ready for a spritz. This spray is also a must-have for sunny destination vacations!
Your skin will thank you because not only is it soothing, it's free of nasty toxins or hormone-disrupting chemicals that store-bought products may contain.
If you can't find the ingredients at your local health food store, Kathrin suggests you try an online retailer. If you can only find large volumes of ingredients, why not invite some friends over and whip up a group batch before heading out for a picnic in the park? Everyone'll feel refreshed and smell great.
Did you give this DIY recipe the spray-test? Let us know how it went. We love your comments and questions but we also love it when you like and share our videos!

This video was shot at Loft 404 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - thanks for hosting us.
It's the city most non-Canadians think of when they think Canada and it's no surprise. It's the most populous, the most visited and the business & financial hub of the country. But those are just numbers and we know there's more to Toronto than that.
We set out to find out what it is about Toronto that has everyone so smitten. What do they love to do, how do they stay healthy in the big city, where to they like to go and what keeps them happily in the city's big embrace? We were overwhelmed at the variety of answers!
If you're a true blue Torontonian, you know we're only scratching the surface. If you're not from Toronto, the surface will have you itching to explore more of this awesome city a little more deeply.
They say this city is a party and we're ready to party with it. Are you?
If you like our love letter, please pass it on by liking, sharing and commenting. We know this is just a hint of what makes Toronto so great. Go ahead, tell us what we missed. Turn this love letter into a romance novel with your comments below!
