The trial ended before I exported it and it exported silence and I don't want to pay 300 dollars year just to get rid of a P that annoys me so I've just fiddled with the levels (if you're confused by this jargon don't be alarmed that's perfectly normal) and it's moderately better. Anyway I lose all the comments and it looks like Ive spent way too much time on this. Plus there will probably be a mistake in the which means I'll have to re-upload again. THIS is how George Lucas must feel literally all the time.
Could I survive an apocalypse? James Veitch 2021-01-07 | 2016. I filmed a pilot based on an idea I’d had to look at different ways the world could end. I say pilot but actually I think they called it a sizzle reel. Come to think of it it might have been called a taster or teaser. Who knows. Who really cares. I worked with a production company and director and they put together and sent off a taster of the teaser from the sizzle reel for the pilot episode. It clearly made a massive impact on the industry because I never heard from anyone about it ever again. Tbh I wasn't massively happy with the taster edit that they'd made and the footage has sat on my hard drive for almost five years. I had a look over the raw footage recently and watching it is really strange. And, i think, a weird glimpse at a world I don't recognise anymore. So I've made my own taster/teaser/sizzle edit from the billion hours of footage we shot and here it is.I don't know how long it will be up because I'm not 100% sure I asked permission from the production company to do it though I do have vague memories of me asking my agent and him telling me that he'd asked. Though it's quite possible my head's made this memory up. Also I've used loads of commercial music to make the thing seem more slick than it actually is. Hopefully they'll monetise it and not kick up a fuss. Anyway, I really hope it can remain up. The director was a guy called Miho who was amazing and, in the production company was brilliant in general. If anyone was on it and wants credit put on it then let me know and I'll put their name here. Anyway. I hope you enjoy a brief sojourn to pre-election, pre-covid, pre-brexit world.Would you watch this show? Increase my "engagement" by telling me in the comments.
