i dont have a nose 2024-05-19 | Hey everyone! As promised, here's my review of Brave, the video game. If you saw my last video, you'll know my thoughts on the movie, so how does the game compare? Well, despite the fact that it follows the movie's narrative following Elinor's transformation, the game is almost nothing like the movie at all. Mor'du's curse has resurrected hordes of ancient creatures and it's Merida's job to restore the ancient waystones and rid the land of this un-bear-able blight.

In this video, I break down precisely why I dislike Brave's story, paying particular attention to Merida as a potential (bad) female role model. There are a couple of times I veer off-track a little, drawing lengthy comparisons with other Disney heroines and movies, but I wanted to keep everything intact as it's unlikely I'll be discussing these things again in relation to this movie (at least not in any great detail).
