When they go out for a family meal, Lance is abnormally quiet. Watching Ilana, all his feelings overwhelm him, and he bursts out with those simple words. "I love you." ~Amorra: An Alternate Story~ Starrlett20 2013-02-10 | Long time no edit, guys :) I've actually had this project in the works for a while now, so it's distracted me from other story xD In a nutshell, it is a fictional plot around the pairing Amorra. I've always liked the concept of the couple, but the age gap has always been a little... well, ick! xD So I reworked a storyline to make it seem like they're of a more similar age (You can imagine Amon to be more like 20 and Korra to be 18)I realise you can't see the first few seconds -_- Tbh, I've rerendered this several times, each one taking a few hours, so I just cba anymore :/ It's not important, it's just them laughing as kids :P Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy :)PLOT:Korra and Amon (known at the time as Noatak) grew up as best friends in the same water tribe. Korra lived in bliss with no burdens of her role as the Avatar, until the White Lotus come to investigate the claims that she is the Avatar, just after her 17th birthday. Her parents admit it, and Tenzin comes to take Korra away to train her bending. Korra assumes that Tenzin would come to her tribe to teach her, but he counters that Republic city need him, and that Korra needs an environment 'free from any distractions'. And so it was decided that she would leave the tribe to train her bending in Republic City.The thought of leaving Noatak distresses her, but she realises it won't be forever. She goes to tell him, but finds him to see the situation from a very different view. He feels that once she is gone, they will see each other again, and the two get into an argument. Korra leaves the tribe on bad terms with him. She doesn't even go to say goodbye, he just watches on angrily as she says goodbye to her parents.Korra has settled into Republic City for over a year, and has made new friends and progressed well with her training. However, when she bumps into Tarlok, and family friend from her tribe, and enquires how Noatak is, he informs her that he ran away several months ago, and they didn't tell her because they thought it would distract her from her training. They presume he is dead, but Korra's instinct tells her he is not, and has probably gone to Republic City to find her. She sneaks out with Mako to search for Noatak, but they get attacked by some anti-benders in the process. After escaping and continuing their search to no avail, Korra has an idea: Noatak may have been captured by the anti-benders.Her and Mako sneak into a rally, but before they have time to search, Amon arrives. She looks at him, and senses something familiar about him. When he turns to look directly at her, she realises it is Noatak. After she returns home, and Tenzin (having guessed she went to find Noatak) enquires whether she found him, she admits that he is Amon. A few weeks later, Tarlok asks her to help him fight Amon, but since she knows he is, in fact, Noatak, she refuses. Tenzin realises the internal struggle she is having, and lets her know he is there for her, though Korra has already started isolating herself.Meanwhile, the press's interest in Amon is on the increase. They keep pestering Korra to confront Amon, until she snaps, and arranges to meet with him to settle things. Tenzin and Tarlok try to talk her out of it, but she doesn't listen. She goes, and is attacked by Amon's henchmen. He warns her that he does have a plan for her. (He does not know that Korra knows he is Noatak) He then, in a moment of weakness, partially takes off his mask, and kisses her. When Korra says his name, he realises she knew all along, and renders her unconscious in a rage. Korra wakes up at home, not knowing that the whole scenario was real (Noatak returned her home while she was knocked out, a moment of kindness)Meanwhile, Korra's increased love interest in Mako means they kiss, much to Noatak's disdain. (who was spying on her) In an act of spite against Mako, he tells them to shut down the arena, but the council (bar Tenzin) agree not to, which enrages Noatak. He sneaks into the arena (now fully protected by Lin Bei Fong) and finds Korra and Mako. They try to escape, but Noatak catches up, and attempts to take Mako's bending away. But before he can, Korra airbends him through the window. His face is revealed for all to see, and he gazes at Korra for a split second, half angry, half regretfully, before swimming away.Korra takes some time to herself, recovering from the events. She gazes out over a cliffside, to spot Noatak making a getaway. She realises he must be stopped before anyone else gets hurt. Meanwhile, Noatak is also thinking back, and he sheds a tear, knowing that he hurt Korra and that they can never be together, she will never forgive him. Korra triggers her Avatar state, and causes the ship to explode, before collapsing into tears, having killed her best friend.THE END
[MEPart 6] So Cold: Korra and Tenzin Starrlett20 2013-01-03 | Finally finally finally omglobs, so long since my last project. I've been a busy bee with university applications, revision and well, just life in general. I'm so sorry for neglecting you all, and I'm afraid it won't let up any time soon. But when I have a free moment, I shall try and edit for you :)This part actually hit me in the feels a bit when I was making it. I've always been drawn to Korra and Tenzin's relationship. And NO, NOT a romantic one! A father/daughter relationship, he always looks out for her and I find it very heartwarming. This MEP part plays a twist on the series:It all starts off normal, they fight, they make up, they fight the bad guys, get a bit beaten up, the good and the bad of their relationship, but the bad takes its toll. Korra realises that she's putting Tenzin and his family into too much danger, and when he comes home after a particularly dangerous brawl, she watches his family's worried faces, and thinks of what could have happened. He could have been captured... or worse. She decides to leave and sneaks out to the next ferry, but Tenzin and his children follow her for one last goodbye.I know my editing isn't up to it's usual standard, I wanted to keep it simple. I hope you enjoy, sorry for the neglect.(Also, no colouring for this part, one of the rules of the MEP)

The Blue Spirit : : The Painted Lady : : Zutara Starrlett20 2012-10-06 | *ahem* HD if you will :3Hey guys! Long time no speak :)I apologise for the lack of uploads. Lately, my inspiration has been running a little dry, plus this year is the time for applications to university, so I'm focusing most of my free time on that :) I had sudden inspiration to edit with this song however, and I've been wanting to do a Painted Lady/Blue Spirit video for a while now, since there aren't enough out there :) I hope you enjoy!Plot:(Takes place when Zuko is part of Team Avatar. He still has his alter-ego of the Blue Spirit)Zuko and Katara are growing increasingly closer since Zuko has joined Team Avatar. However, Aang always seems to get in the way of things. When they are about to kiss, but Aang arrives, it is the last straw for Zuko. He feels all of this emotion built up inside of him, so he decides to pose as the Blue Spirit once more, just to get some alone time and excert his frustration into fighting.Meanwhile, Katara has been sneaking out discuised as The Painted Lady, to help any fire nation villages in need. The Blue Spirit spies her healing someone, and wants to help. He approaches, but The Painted Lady gets paranoid thinking it's a fire nation soldier, and flees. He pursues, but doesn't catch her.Meanwhile, the relationship of Zuko and Katara is strained. He keeps snapping at her about Aang, and a big fight breaks out between them, though neither really want to break their relationship. They both go out as their alter egos in the night, and happen upon each other once more. The Painted Lady realises he means no harm, and they plot to destroy a fire nation war factory that terrorises a nearby village. Together, they destroy the machinery and fight the guards, and the factory is left badly damaged. Thry both admire each other's skill, and feeligns of love begin to develop. But when they are running away to escape, one of the guards shoots The Blue Spirit, knocking him out and causing his mask to slip. The Painted Lady goes back for him, takes off the mask, and is shocked to find that it is Zuko. She debates leaving him behind, but eventually takes him with her.He wakes up on the edge of a forest, dazed, to find The Painted Lady staring at him, deep in thought. He realises how beautiful she is, and is about to say something, when she starts, realises he's awake, and leaves him. Zuko wanders come, dazed and slightly concussed, and his life begins to spiral downwards further. Him and Katara continue to fight, and he has strange lovesick dreams, confused by his love for Katara AND The Painted Lady. Katara continues to fight because she too is confused by her love.Zuko eventually decides to seek The Painted Lady, and drops his mask once and for all: she's already seen him without it, so what is the point in wearing it? He walks for most of the night, until he spies her up on a cliff, gazing out at the sea. He approaches, and thansk for for saving his live, but notices that she is sad. Katara finally decides to reveal herself, so she removes her hat.Zuko is at first shocked, and just shakes his head and turns away. Katara thinks that he doesn't share her feelings, and just looks down silently. However, Zuko realises he sort of knew all along that she was The Painted Lady, and apologies for being so jealous of her and Aang. And after that... well, you can decide that for yourselves :)Sorry for the novel-length plot, I get a bit passionate about storylines sometimes :P Hope it wasn't too difficult to follow :)Song info at end of vid.

[MEPart 4] Cosmic Love: BolinXSaturn Girl Starrlett20 2012-07-29 | For my mep over at CCS :) The theme is a friendship or pairing where one counterpart is alien. I think Bolin and Saturn Girl make a nice couple, yes? Bolin's funny personality might liven up Saturn Girl a bit, but equally she might simmer him down a tad :')Story:Saturn Girl's ship crashes into Earth one night, and Bolin sees and finds her. She immediately thinks he wants to attack her, so she blasts him with her powers. However, it drains the last of her energy, and she falls unconcious. Bolin builds a fire and makes sure she's okay, but when she awake, she still thinks he's dangerous. He promises he measn no harm, and offers a hand to help her up... the start of a beautiful relationship ;) Then there's just a bunch of lovey-dovey scenes xD Her feeling under-confident and him reasurring her, him making her laugh and giving her presents, etc :)
Legend of Korra ~ [[Spies]] Starrlett20 2012-07-08 | HD keeps my editing look 10 years younger :)This video..... the rendering hassle it gave me... *facedesk* I had to split it into 8 seperate parts before it rendered the whole thing, then I had to re-render them together with the colourings, watermark and texture -.- Well, I hope it was worth it xDSmall tribute to the amazing continuation of the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. I have yet to see the final 2 episodes however, so this video only has up to episode 10 or so :PI'm not sure why I picked the song. And he's back with another mod, which introduces the mindcrackers themselves as passive mobs in the game. [MEPart 2] Signal Fire: Zuko and Jet Starrlett20 2012-04-15 | Geesh it took a while to coax some inspiration into this part -__- But I'm glad I got it finished, I'm pleased with the outcome :D I've always loved and wanted to do a friendship video betwen Zuko and Jet, so here is one ;) There's also a short plot to it:Zuko and Jet become friends by both being refuges and stealing food to live, and travel to Ba Sing Se, wanting to start their lives afresh and become something worthwhile. Both know that they will part ways after the boat ride, but keep quiet about their unhappiness. Meanwhile, Jet is continuously haunted by his past, and a mysterious blue masked fire-bender who destroyed his village. (Back before Zuko was exiled, when he was still evil :P) One night Jet is raiding the Dai Li, but Zuko has the same idea. Not wanting to give away who he was, he wears his Blue Spirit mask. Jet finds him, and is about to kill him when Zuko takes off the mask. Jet, shocked, confronts him about this. Zuko tries to explain that he isn't that kind of person anymore, when they are attacked my a member of the Dai Lee. Jet is badly wounded, but as he's dying, he tells Zuko he forgives him. Zuko, consumed by grief, throws down his mask, never to wear it again...(I realise this plot makes Zuko like 10 years older than Jet.... just go with it ;D)Enjoy :)

[MEPart 6] Afraid: Raven and Shaman Starrlett20 2012-03-26 | So... I managed this with only like 15 seconds worth of clips of the Shaman ;) Man I have a knack of picking obscure characters xDVague Plotline~Raven's dreams are plagued by an evil shadow being, a Shaman of Fear. She disregards it, telling herself it's only a nightmare, but her powers make that nightmare come true. (Sort of similar to the episode 'Fear Itself' :P) The Shaman takes control of her, and begins to torture her, but she breaks free and fights back. She thinks she has conquered him by admitting her fear, and that he will disapear, but he doesn't, he has become real now.... [MEPart 6] Courage: Saturn Girl Starrlett20 2012-02-19 | Slowly wading my way through mep parts :P Doesn't help that school starts again tomorrow, eh....Gotta say, I'm actually pretty proud of this one :) Lately I fel like my editing has gotten sloppy, but I liked how my colouring and effects worked for this one :) Plus it gave me a chance to edit with a bit of LoSH :DStory:Pretty self explainitory, but here it is anyway :P Saturn Girl was diagnosed with some sort of illness (It can be whatever you want it to be, cancer, TB, etc) and she's been keeping it hidden from the rest of the team. She has an off day, and collapses during a mission. The team bring her to the hospital, where they find out that she's ill. She awakes, and begs to leave and fight with the team, but Lightning Lad refuses point blank, saying she's too weak, and fearing for her health. Her health declines anyway, and eventually leads her to a coma. As her friends watch and wait, she doesn't wake up...*insert cliffhanger* Oh snap ;) Whether she dies or lives is up to your interpretation :P

Sym-Bionic Titan : : Hobbes Death Starrlett20 2012-01-30 | Excuses excuses for not editing much :PWell, tbh, I had a pretty crappy week last week :L Not going into much detail, I was generally in a low mood, and wanted to vent it into some sort of project. So I created this...Though I rarely edit them, I really do like the thought of their being an IlanaXHobbes pairing :) From the little footage they had they seemed sweet, and I just wanted a sad little video focusing on that. We don't really know what happened to Hobbes, so I sorta made my own ending :PI think the video is pretty self-explanitory, but here's a litle plot summary just in case ;)-Hobbes is Ilana's bodyguard, as in the show, but they share a very special bond. Can be interpreted as love or friendship.-Whilst fighting to return to the castle during the invasion, Hobbes is shot trying to protect Ilana.-Ilana drags him to the safety of the castle, bit his wound is too deep. (NB: What they say before he dies is unimportant. I imagine Hobbes making light of the situation, and trying to joke to cheer up Ilana. Then he probably says something cliche like "You've made me proud... you've always made me proud" to which Ilana replies "Please, don't die... no!")-Soyeah, he dies, there's a funeral, and it ends with the King watching Ilana stand over the grave of her poor friend/lover/whatevs.THE END*sad times*Song: The Tear Heals (from the Tangled Soundtrack)
Sherlock+Watson ||Sound the Bugle|| Starrlett20 2012-01-21 | So... what to say about Sherlock....If you haven't seen this so, GO! GO SEE IT NOW! The final episode was probably one of the best things I've ever seen on TV ever. It made me laugh, cry, and left me wanting more :P I can't wait for the next series :')Anyway, this is just a small dedication to this amazing show. No fancy effects: I didn't want to ruin the beautiful footage. I picked this song because it's so elegantly simple, and I think the lyrics capture the essence of Sherlock really well. This isn't a slash video, more of a focus on Sherlock and Watson's wonderful friendship :) I'm making another one as well, which will have slightly more effects, and should hopefully be up within the next week.Also, for those who care, I think I've sussed out of Sherlock survived, but I'd like to hear your theories :)~enjoy

Lance :: Kimmy :: Octus [[Kickstarts]] Starrlett20 2012-01-10 | Just a small vidlet to make a change from the masses of mep parts I have -.-I never get tired of dubstep, nor do I get tired of angsty SBT videos, particularly is they star Lance spiralling out of control ;) I think I'm gonna do an IlanaXOctus one next, or maybe an IlanaXHobbes :)I chose this pairing simply because it's so underused x3 It shouldn't be thought of as crack, but rather misunderstood ;) I'd like to think that Lance can get jealous once in a while :)Basic Plot:~Lance and Kimmy are dating, but because he's introverted, he can't seem to make things work.~They break it off, and then Lance realises he shouldn't have.~He goes to make it up with her, but finds her embracing Octus~It goes downhill from there. He tries to work his rage of of his system by exercising and stuff, but after seeing them kiss, it no longer works.~He begins a massive rage of crime, including robbey and stealing cars, however, one night while driving, he isn't concentrating, and crashing and dies.Oh woe is me x3THE ENDEnjoy~

What If... Artemis Died? Starrlett20 2011-11-10 | Sorta vent, but not really :P I just had lots of emotion twisted inside that I needed to release xD Also, sorry about crappy sound quality, I had to render this twice because my vegas kept crashing :L Effect wise, this video sucks :P But honestly, I was trying to go more for the atmosphere, not the beats. I used minimal clips nad choice quotes. The video really focuses on what it would be like is Artemis did really die. Which is basicaly KF feeling shitty and taking it out on Robin, Flash, his friends etc xD And reminiscing over her arrow 'souvenir' :') Anyway, I absolutely LOVED this episode :D Generaly, I've had my doubts aobut YJ recently, what with the crappy Joker and cringe-worthy relationship between Megan and Supes jr ;) But this episode really stepped it up a notch, and I can't wait for the new one in a couple days time :D Also, I'm trying to bring out more of my own editing and less mep parts, because I know people generally prefer that xD I still have a few to get out the way though ;) Enjoy :) ~
