no tlb, tlb requires nomiss but i died on stage 3 setting up a huge combo lol.
tlb isnt much harder, its easier to set up a 100m bonus but the dodging is harder.
hard mode isnt much harder than normal, i cleared hard first before doing normal scoring.
Played for summer yoly 2023.
Jungly steps can fuck right off.

Level chart provided by Yakamino- some entries may be incorrect; as I did not test all 60. But this should be a good guideline.
"Enemy Kills & Bullets Grazed" is incorrect. Top value is normal kill, bottom is chain kill.
Jiiya unlocks at 10 medals collected. Baf unlocks at 10 silvers (or better).

I grinded making this one over a few days after DDP Pacifist, Bee Storm's scoring system has always intrigued me, CYS-SAK's WR is pretty amazingly optimized and I've wanted to tinker with this game for years now with low power. I plan to play this game legitimately again soon and try for a score of 5 billion.
So some scoring info :
Graze gives 10,000 points per graze, Aura hits give 10,000 points per hit.
Chaining is very different here compared to DDP, Your chain bleeds if it drops rather than going to 0 similarly to DFK if you dont have a hyper in stock.
Your chain increases weirdly as well; your shot gives a hit per shot hit? damage dealt? It's hard to tell and it feels like you're limited by the amount of hits you can get regardless of how many things you're hitting with your shot.
Laser aura gives far more hits and does less damage per hit given (155 damage compared to ~300 from afar); it's best used in a big clump of enemies and large enemies.
Your chain gauge is also backwards from DDP; killing with laser gives a lot more gauge than shot.
The hits themselves are the score this time around, it's HIT x 10 points per hit. so at 9,999 hits you get 99,990 points per hit. On bosses, certain phases are what I call "frenzy" phases, and you're awarded multiple hits per hit tic. Upwards of 10 per hit.
In these cases, assuming these hits are done with aura, the score calculation is (HIT x 10 + 10000) x HitPerTic. So at 10 hits per tic at max combo, you get 1.3 million points per 155 damage dealt.
This can definitely be improved, and I might do so at a later date! But I think this game is really sick and more people should actually try it.

It's time for another TAS for the month of April, this is a fully pacifist, nomiss nobomb 2-ALL of DoDonPachi, played on Very Hard dipswitch settings.
Going into this, I knew the bosses were going to be fucking annoying but man the timers are SO LONG.
Hibachi and Big Bee especially, I think these have 65,535 frames of timer to them; and since Hibachi slows down more, it's an even longer timer.
The stages are the best part, loop 2 is when things get super fun, since enemies have hitboxes bigger than you'd expect you need to move in really erratic ways on parts like 2-5.
Timestamps for YOUR pleasure.

Apologies for audio issues.
This game is pure kusoge, a sequel to the laughably bad "Death Crimson" on the Sega Saturn, is yet another lightgun game by these absolute lads.
The game itself has cool ideas, accuracy bonuses causing stacking hit points, EXP system where hitting enemies gives EXP, missing takes it away, and when you fill the bar you get a health up. Secret shootable spots for a machine gun drop that actually doesnt work, extra health or a rainbow screen filling bomb. There are also these intermission bits where killing every little enemy gives a perfect bonus. I dont know if this does anything.
There are also these statues in Stage 2 and Stage 3 that can be farmed for a lot of EXP, basically a free health item.
Thats where the positives end.
For one, the game is pretty ugly but uses a lot of reflective surfaces made possible by the NAOMI's hardware, the hitboxes on "weak points" are seriously fucked up; which is a problem cause usually hitting these weakpoints is how you actually damage the bosses or stop them from hitting you.
The stage 3 boss' 2nd phase is also complete bullshit I dont care what anyone says it takes a lot of hits to actually deal damage and shes flying all over the place moaning like a JAV actor fuck off
Stage 4 is extremely easy, easier than stage 1 even.
Stage 5 boss is a pain in the ass, the orbs can just be near undamageable when theyre about to fire at you, which makes you take damage. The rockets the boss fires are also jank hitboxes as expected.
Stage 6 starts with this lip dude, a midboss with 4(!) weak spots that are randomly chosen. If you fail to hit these weakspots, you will take damage. if the weakspot is on the elbows good fucking luck. If the weakspot is the tummy you can stunlock him if you're mashing fast enough and reload very fast, which is a pain to do on a mouse btw.
Stage 6 boss is also quite easy you just aim upwards and it dies.
Silly game
Maybe one day, it's crash will be fixed.
This game's cool tho, Leafy is a complete schizo creature and i hate how it looks, he has no attack range, only a small aura around him.
However, he starts with 9 lives. Extends give 10 lives. Pressing C will instakill you, starting a chain reaction.
Extends with leafy are awarded every 20,000 points, so the game is very rush heavy just like Sispri.
