Now that you seen the video, several things need to be stated:
First, yes a Galaxy Class DOES participate in the Battle of Wolf 359 and it is Admiral Hanson's ship. My decision to add it was done after exhaustive research was done on the battle. The script and production notes of Best of Both Worlds Part 2 states both times the Enterprise is in communication with Hanson he is in a Galaxy Class starship ready room and later a battle bridge. As far as the red alert display behind him, we see ships with different bridge configurations all the time during the show, for example the USS Odyssey. The particular ship he was on may have used that type of display, or if anything else the production crew used it for dramatics. The production crew also confirmed all of this during the Graveyard scene we can see Galaxy class debris among the wreckage. You can debate whether it was from a Galaxy or from a variant, but my decision stands. You may not agree with seeing it there, but a Galaxy Class will be present at the battle.

Ex Astris Scientia article: ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/wolf359.htm
Now in case any of you are wondering the name of this ship I have labeled it "USS Sojourn NCC-71811." Before everyone states there was only six Galaxy's built during this time, please remember that information comes from the TNG Tech manual and is NOT considered canon. There was nothing stated ON SCREEN during TNG's run that there were only six Galaxies built, or that the Constitution Class was retired for that matter.
Canon: ex-astris-scientia.org/inconsistencies/canon.htm
Also, as for keeping the ship whole while Hanson is on the battle bridge I decided that while he made the Sojourn his flagship for the mission it's not his ship per se. The ships captain and bridge crew are commanding the ship from the main bridge while Hanson is using the battle bridge as a mission ops to coordinate the fleet.
That aside, as far as Wolf 359 goes, these shots are the first time since late August of 2020 that I have touched them. The release will definitely be next year. As I was reworking these shots I finally came up a possible concept that I think will work. Its too early to tell if it will or not, I'll update everyone as I make progress. One thing that I will say now is I will NOT be depicting every ships destruction. It will be far too time consuming build. You'll see ships pop, just not every last one.
It should also be stated that this is MY interpretation of the battle, not something official. Some details may not align perfectly with everyone. That's just the way it is.
Second, Starfleet Academy: I initially began this project early August. As of now all space shots and my first ground shot is complete. Next Year I'll build the Starfleet Academy itself. Here's where it gets messy: the live action footage. I'm faced with three possible ways to do this. First, my original concept would NOT include ANY live action but instead focus on the graphics and music with the video ending when Kirk's shuttle arrives at SFA. It's short but the quality remains consistent. Second, I will attempt to recreate the original backgrounds and rotoscope the actors into the new shots. But, that presents another problem, the footage used for the actors is low resolution and heavily compressed, even with AI up scaling it may not look good with HD backgrounds. If that doesn't pan out then I'll go for the easy way which is just use the original live action shots and upscale them. It will be night and day in terms of quality but it will be the entire intro.
Third, the "Mirror Universe Encounter" was born out of necessity. I couldn't find a high res K'Tinga model but I wanted to do the battle, so I got creative. So far the only potental issue may be the music, but I have no intention of touching Jerry Goldsmith's iconic score. If I ever find a good K'Tinga model I'll do the battle proper.
P.S. If anyone knows of a good K'Tinga model I could use, please let me know.
Lastly, I have been working almost continuously on projects since January. The holiday season is fast approaching, my eyes are tired and I need a break. I made this video to show various ideas I have and to let everyone know I'm still working. After this video there will be at least one more release before the New Year. After the New Year I'll resume, but for now I leave you with this. Enjoy!

While the remaster of the main titles sounded far clearer, I felt something was missing. Listening to the Blu-ray of the movie the original sound had a certain punch that the remaster lacked. So, I extracted the center, sub woofer and surround channels from the Blu-ray, cleaned up and equalized them and carefully mixed them into the remastered track.
The sound is now both vibrant and punchy. I feel that this "Hybrid Edition" is truly the "Best of Both Worlds" - no pun intended.
