SURPRISE | warriors pmv ariqzo 2021-12-31 | SPOILERS FOR THE BROKEN CODE (idk if i should put this bc the books came out a few years ago but i'll do it anyway)hhoOOOMG OKAY FINALLY THIS IS DONE WOW.. it doesnt look the best but hey. I Did Itthroughout all of december ive been wanting to post Something on here just so i could start saying that i post monthly. and i didnt do anything until like the last week. which is where i decided "hey i wonder how fast i can finish a full pmv" (IVE NEVER FINISHED A PMV) and so here comes this ideai started reading the broken code this month and i LOVEE it aghh i'm so late but i've been super reluctant to read it because "ohh new warrior cats bad" BUT NO this has to be one of my favourite series now!! the story and characters are so good so i decided i'd make a pmv set in that series!now i know this never actually happened (the lil ghost bramble and ash encounter thing) but in a classic case of Warrior Cat Animator Brain thats what i pictured when i heard the song. so a little bit of ashfur looking at bramblestar like "oohoho haha youre so ugly im about to steal your body and stuff hoohoh" and then just the last few chapters of lost starsoriginally this was gonna be lined and shaded and blahblah but then i realized gthere was NO TIME so i switched to lineless and can i just say i finally understand why there r so many lineless warrior cats pmvs because this is FUN!!! i drew this whole pmv with just one brush (minus the sketches + the one frame where ashfur straightup dissolves) and MAN was it fun not having to worry about the number of furs on someones chest or how to draw this or that or WHATEVER I REALLY LIKE DRAWING IN THIS STYLE!! i also had a superfun time designing the characters (btw credits to ursiday for the shadowsight design!? its not exact bc i kind of drew it from memory but still their design so!!)this shit was stressful Tbh bc i wanted to have it done before 2021 ended (WHY WOULD I DO THAT TO MYSELF) so i was always on the grind. i ended up finishing it in time though and i checked the amount of time it took (bc i did it all on one canvas) and in total i spent.... 15hr 3min on this. wow. over the course of six days IM ACTUALLY GOING CRAZY sorry if it doesnt make sense storywise/some of the frames are rushed looking i got really tired near the end so i had to grind the final few but... overall im pretty happy with it!! for a pmv i made in less than a week when it usually takes me a month for a single map part, im proud of myself, even if this doesnt look the best! i hope you liked it too (:also i got to use a song by the garden so thats a big win.
