When I did very rarely touch my guitar during 2019-2020 it was just to practice this or the Plastic Love solo.
When I say "X hours of practice" I would hit the timer on my phone and just play the intro over and over, when I stopped, I would stop the timer. I only did this up to the 24 hour mark, but each hour was nonstop playing. It's nowhere near perfect, but I can finally "play" every note at full speed with the backing track so that's good enough for the video.
Coincidentally I also spent almost exactly 100 hours unlocking every single Halo Reach armor piece in the Master Chief collection, and I have 100 hours in the DayZ Standalone on Steam-- and I don't even like that game. My first attempt using Unity's MLAgents package. I successfully use reinforcement learning to train planes how to land themselves. This was a lot of learning by trial-and-error.
