I took the orchestral/synth part of the romance tune and mix-pasted the beginning into the tail end of my performance so it's seamless.This is not the same performance that I did for the version on the soundtrack and in-game. There are very subtle differences if you listen for them!

Mass Effect Main Theme - Sam Hulicks 1st Demo Sam Hulick, Composer 2010-09-09 | This was my very first attempt at the main theme. It was actually for the initial demo, and we had no visuals to go by. All I had was a description of the opening cinematic sequence. The long synth intro would've played during the text sequence, the part where the brass comes in and hits you is when the Mass Effect logo is shown, the militaristic/adventurous stuff that follows is when Shepard is walking on board the Normandy, and the ending is when the Normandy enters the mass relay.

However, BioWare ceased all work on the DLC and the music was never officially sold and used anywhere, so up on YouTube it goes! I can't/won't say what the DLC was, as I'm not really allowed to talk about it. Not to mention they may revive something similar, plot-wise, for a Mass Effect 2 DLC. You never know.
Mass Effect 2 - Unused Jack Theme (Subject Zero) Sam Hulick, Composer 2010-02-05 | (POSSIBLE SPOILERS) Very early on in the project, I sketched out some character themes based on concept art from BioWare, as well as detailed descriptions of each character. For Jack (Subject Zero), Jack Wall and I agreed the music for her had to be hip, threatening, and sexy, something to accurately portray this dangerous killer, so I came up with this theme. Unfortunately, as more of the in-game cinematics were developed and released to us, we could see there was no place suitable for this track, so it wound up not being used, though in one action sequence involving Jack, you can hear a fast-paced variation of this theme.
