Storyboarded MAP Preview #1 Starfruit Animates 2022-03-26 | sorry for not uploading in over 2 months, I’ve been taking a break to develop my art style. Anyways, this storyboarded map was voted for in my discord server, and though I won’t give too many spoilers away, the map is centered around numerous warriors villains. This is a short clip for part of the map, and I’m done with roughly 1/8 of the storyboard currently, so I hope to be releasing the open map before the end of April!
Starfruit Animates 2021 Animation / Art Reel Starfruit Animates 2022-01-01 | wow, 2021 is over already?I posted my first map part on this channel a year and 7 months ago. (aka 607 days) which is really shocking. I’ve improved a ton since that period of time, and my channel has grown to have nearly 400 subscribers. I’m astonished by how far i’ve come in such a short period of time, and i thank you all so much for supporting me since then. This year: I posted too many map calls and not enough map parts, which i truly regret. i really love watching a finished map and being able to say, “i hosted this” and i guess i just got frustrated whenever one of my map calls, that i was really excited to see finished, flop and get little to no participants. I definitely took it easy compared to last year, and didn’t join nearly as many maps and instead focused on making the few map parts look up to par (which was one of my goals from last year’s animation reel) and for that i’m proud.Next year: I’ll try to branch out and start drawing humans more often. (something i began to do during the last month of december 2021) I’ve wanted to draw people for a long time, but didn’t have the patience to accept my bad drawings as i did with dragons and cats previously. I will also try to expand my reach with the youtube algorithm, and try to get my audience more engaged in my posts so i can create map calls and not be as stressed about it not getting filled on time. I am currently uploading this and setting it as premiere on July 22nd, although the earliest you can watch the actual video is July 27th*Hey everyone! I wanted to get a good upload out to make up for my lack of videos and artfight attacks. This took me about two-ish weeks to make, and I’m pretty proud of it! *ABOUT THE VIDEO*I wanted to show how Ashfur’s character changed after being rejected by Squirrelflight for Brambleclaw, and I really think the song choice represents that. I also chose to draw Ashfur, and only Ashfur, with no mouth to symbolize how he never really talked about his emotions or feelings about Squirrelflight to any of his clanmates, and instead kept them to himself to look like the average thunderclan member. Art Fight Day 4 (7/04/21) Starfruit Animates 2021-07-05 | day 4 of artfight! just like yesterday, I was busy / away from my ipad until around 10:30 at night, which is why I was only able to get 3 attacks done. I have nothing else planned for quite a while, so I should be able to pick back up on doing way more attacks tomorrow. I’m also starting to get a bit overwhelmed with the amount of attacks I still have to do. My original plan was to attack everyone who follows or attacks me, as well as some people that I’m currently following, but, I now have almost 4 pages of bookmarked characters I have to draw still, and they keep adding on daily. so, I’m going to focus on doing revenge attacks / just attacking people that I’m friends with or like their designs over people following me, because it’s getting a bit out of hand at this point 😀I plan on attacking everyone who draws one of my characters, or people with the most interesting designs, so check out my art fight account if you haven’t already! Art Fight Day 1 (7/01/21) Starfruit Animates 2021-07-02 | hey everyone! I’m going to start posting all of my art fight attacks / friendly fire in a thingy like this one every day (at least, until I go on vacation at the end of the month) so expect at least one upload per day until roughly the end of August! Artfight started at nearly 3:00 PM for me, and I was in the car on my ipad with no wifi the entire day, (my phone has cellular on it, but my ipad doesn’t) so I had no way of uploading the attacks I did until later on.
