The StupendiumBLIMEY. This one took a while! Believe it or not I started working on Art of Darkness not long after I completed my first Bendy and the Ink Machine song, Find the Keys! But when the channel took off I realised that I should prioritise making more regular content over one big video so I've spent the past year working on this one bit by bit between other videos. I'm so glad to finally be able to share it with you guys!
Given how long it took to make, it went through many changes. It started as a Chapter 3 song but as time went by it ended up including parts of Chapter 4 and 5 too!
A huge amount of work went into this one (over 1000 drawings!) so I want to thank everyone who helped and supported me along the way! All of the drawings, animation, lyrics and voices are my own. But if you find a spelling mistake, my girlfriend did the spell checking. ;)
If you enjoyed the video, please do share! This is a super special project for me and I'd love for everyone to get a chance to see it!
So as I now finally get to work on my next song, I hope in the mean time... You find this one Satisfactory.

GIVE YOUR LAST.The Stupendium2024-09-20 | I was honoured to be reached out to by @11bitstudios and @AMD to create a song to promote the release of Frostpunk 2! I think it's one of the best videos me and my team have ever made and we're super proud of it! Check it out!
The Captain is dead. Thirty years have passed and through storm, snow and starvation somehow the city still stands. The future of that city now rests with you, Steward. Guide this next chapter of the last city on earth, face new challenges and unite a people set on dividing down ever more fractured and fractious lines. In 11 bit’s Frostpunk 2, the sequel to their best selling city survival game, it’s up to you to guide the next generations of frost-landers through an uncertain and turbulent future. Build districts, manage resources, keep people fed and warm and navigate a political climate in your city as turbulent as the storms beyond it. Frostpunk truly is one of my favourite games of the past few years and I was thrilled when 11 bit and AMD approached me to revisit the world of New London to help them promote the sequel and AMD’s latest GPU. ‘Shelter From the Storm’, my song for the first game followed the story of those embarking to build the city at the end of the world. My second song and collaboration with Dan Bull ‘A Purpose for New London’ was followed the two factions warring over how that city should be run. So for this third song I wanted to close that arc and explore what might become of that city should it fall. The frostlands are unforgiving and saving your city will not be easy. The idea of returning to that character from Shelter thirty years later was a really exciting one and this whole project was a blast to put together. Whilst not (quite) the biggest set we’ve ever built it is by far the most intensely dressed and detailed and that was before we then had to ice it over and install a snow machine! A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew for bringing this project to life and of course to 11 bit and AMD for making it possible! And extra special thanks to Carl of the Bells for providing the fantastically haunting choirboy vocal and to HalaCG for voicing the Faithkeeper!

#ad #frostpunk2 #frostpunk #thestupendiumI MADE A FALLOUT MUSICAL!The Stupendium2024-08-31 | After literal years of planning and 6 months of work, my Children of Atom musical 'Divide! The Gospel of the Geiger' is out now!
DIVIDE! The Gospel of the Geiger | A Fallout Musical!
Across the wastelands of Bethesda’s Fallout series, wherever that radioactive fog may spread, The Children of Atom can be found. Their belief in the divinity of Atomic energy, their almighty Deity ‘Atom’ and their hope for ‘Division, where creation is born anew in atomic blasts, make them some of the most interesting characters across the series for me and I’ve wanted to write about them for the longest time. In fact, I had the idea for this track WAY back when I first was challenged by Ninethie to write a Fallout track, but at the time I opted to write about Robert House as it was a much more achievable project for me.
In the years since then, the world has become a pretty scary place and being as I am, compelled to use my work and the worlds of games to hold a lens to our own, I couldn’t help but draw parallels between the Children of Atom and their blessed ‘Division’ and the world today. Science denialism, selective facts and the use of societal division as a recruiting tactic for extreme movements and ideas. It’s a lot more politically charged than much of my previous works and I did my best to make something still riotously fun regardless of the deeper themes I wanted to explore.
This project is the product of the hard work and dedication of SO many people all working to make my dumb ideas manifest. I’ve had to keep this description shorter than usual just to leave room for the credits! I couldn’t have put this together without every single one of them. If you enjoy this project, please give every one of them your love and appreciation!

In ‘Lethal Company,’ employees explore a multitude moons in order to find scrap, risking their lives as they face deathly traps and are stalked by dangerous creatures. They must find enough scrap to meet the ever-increasing profit quotas of “The Company,” or else the employees may find themselves brutally disposed of…
But luckily this is all just a video game! Can you imagine any companies in real life having such a callous disregard for their employees mental and physical welfare? Allowing human suffering just so they can increase their profits?! Hoarding wealth and paying a pittance to those doing the actual labour?! I sure can’t think of any AMAZing examples ON the fly…
Well folks, we’re back to our usual video game songs! I loved the idea of a Lethal Company song, it seemed like the perfect game to add to the anti-capitalism bop collection. I wanted it to be a semi-spiritual successor to the Fine Print in terms of theme and message, even though I doubt it’ll achieve the same level of notoriety on TikTok. It seems to be a pattern to do a collab with Dan Bull in the first half of the year, and who am I to break tradition? Big thanks to Dan, it’s always great fun to work with him (even though I deprived him of sleep a bit for this one… sorry Dan!) And as always, many thanks to rest of the team for this one. Nick for another smashing set build, Paul for his fantastic filmography, Liz for her excellent editing, Benedict and Phoenix for their cracking costumes and prop-making prowess, and Benedict again for his awesome assistance on set. Alliteration is fun. Wait! I mean… alliteration is amusing.

I've always loved this track for this rather divisive game! Beyond broken at launch but Bethesda still managed to pull through and almost 6 years on the game still has a thriving community! And with Amazon's fantastic new Fallout series still fresh in everyone's minds what better time to give this track a little fixing up after it's first release? Given the game it's about, that seems rather fitting...
The original track was for sure a prime example of 'Stupes was pressing buttons and pretending they knew what they were doing' when I originally mixed this song myself. I certainly didn't properly know how to handle barbershop harmonies! So I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to give this one the professional remaster treatment.
As always, I don't doubt this remaster will split opinions like the Atom! Whilst it's objectively better from every technical standpoint, the original is still there for those of you who prefer it!
I'll be back in a couple of weeks with an all new music video! It's a fun one, folks! Stay tuned!

But a lot of folks weren't happy with certain ones I had missed out! That's because a lot of the VFX in my videos are more about stylistic compositing, making things look different visually overall or to overlay effects onto a scene, whilst last week I was focusing on more direct visual effects, where effects are used to make something *happen*, like a spinning head or a character exploding. So here's a look at some of my most notable visual composites to change the visual style of a character/video!

I hope you can see the improvement! And what better place to shoot a gaudy hip-hop music video than Las Vegas itself?! A place I’ve always wanted to visit and film in! Honestly, I’ve been looking to find an excuse to film at the Neon Museum since I found out it existed. What better time than now, at the big ol' milly mark! In any case, this wouldn’t have been even remotely possible without the support of my Patrons, so special shoutout to all of you! Make sure to check out the credits below and check out all of the brilliant vendors we worked with in Vegas for this music video. Everyone was really welcoming and accommodating! Thanks again to everyone who has subscribed to and supported this channel over the years, it really means the world to me that I get to do what I do for a living. How do we top a video like this? A (very bad) song called ‘Amateur Wordsmith’. The description was as follows:
“Here's the first track of the new channel! It seems lots of rappers like to rap about their rap skills. I thought I'd do the same... Massive thanks to Rude Velvet for the beats and to Paul Marke for his editing assistance!”
My descriptions tend to be a bit more long-winded nowadays, so bear with me…
Thank you so much to everyone who has subscribed to this channel – all one million of you! Hitting this milestone is obviously a huge achievement for any YouTuber, so I felt like getting a bit nostalgic and completely remaking Amateur Wordsmith. This has been way more involved than any of my remasters I’ve done before on the channel. It’s less of a remaster, not even a re-make, more of a re-imagining. What would a song I made a decade ago sound like if I made it today? There’s an all new beat, rewritten lyrics, and a shiny new video – all inspired by the original, but all (I hope) massively improved!
The red furry coat and striped blazer are the same costumes from the original video, but you might notice there are a few new ones, as well as some new costumes, and costumes from videos past. In fact, this video breaks the record for most costumes we’ve ever used in a video! Twenty-Eight!
I hope you all enjoyed this little bit of self-indulgence, and if you watch to the very end, you might see there’s more to come. The 1 million celebrations aren’t over just yet! But don’t worry, we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled nerdy gaming content soon.

In Black Salt Games' 'Dredge', a fisherman sets sail to Greater Marrow to GOBY the town’s SOLE angler. It at first seems like a peaceful PLAICE, but the townsfolk warn him that things are SARDINE to get weird. He thinks this is a load of CODswallop, but as DACE draw to nights, he FLOUNDERS when confronted with Eldritch horrors beyond his comprehension. They seem to be WHITING for his demise…
OK… that last fish pun was a bit CARP.
So, this project began as Dan Bull was so found of the Choo Choo Charles set, he wanted to try and reuse as much of it as possible and turn it into a boat for a Dredge song! And I wasn’t going to NOT use a beautiful boat set as well!
Our set builder Nick did a brilliant job with this one, I think most people won’t be able to tell it used to be a train! So huge thanks to him, and the entire team that worked really hard on this video. We filmed it way back in July, but as you can tell, there was a lot of post-production work with the CG elements! Shout out to all the artists that made that happen, check them out in the credits below!
Oh, and obviously a MASSIVE thank you for one million subscribers!!! I can’t really believe it! As I said in the outro, we have some special stuff planned for the big milestone, but you’ll have to wait until the New Year for that! Sit tight!

Game Theory, along with its host Matthew ‘MatPat’ Patrick, is a channel that every week takes you on a deep dive behind the lore and the science of your favourite games. I’ve never done a collaboration like this before but it was wonderful to get the chance to work with and promote a smaller, up-and-coming channel. I’ve no doubt you’ll all be hearing about them any day now. I see big things!
In all seriousness though, WOW. As a long-time fan of the theory channels getting to work on this with MatPat and his team was such an honour. This project has been in the works for the longest time and it’s been so hard to keep it a secret for all this time! (Wondering why there are no Style Theory lyrics? That channel didn’t exist when this was written!)
I am so incredibly grateful to the whole theory team for this opportunity. In fact, I’m doubly thankful because when I initially pitched this project to them the idea was that I would have the song to publish on my music platforms but that the music video would go to the Game Theory channel. But after work on the project began MatPat said he wanted to find a way to make sure the collaboration benefited my channel as much as possible, instead gifting the full music video to my channel even though it had been entirely edited by the Game Theory team. (Shout out to the wonderfully talented Tyler Mascola!)
So, instead a plan was formulated to feature the music video as part of a larger Theory video whilst the full standalone music video would be here! I cannot express enough my gratitude to Matt and the whole team. Every one of them was a joy to work with as we put this together.
So, if you’re new here, joining me from today’s video over on Game Theory, welcome! I hope you like what you find!

In the long awaited Alan Wake 2, Remedy take us back to the world of Bright Falls, Cauldron Lake and the Dark Place that lies deep within it. Since the events of the first game, Alan, a renowned writer, has been lost for 13 years, trapped by the Dark Presence in a twisted world built from his own words deep beneath the shores of Cauldron Lake. Stuck in an endless, undying loop he must find a way to write an ending and his escape from a world that feeds on his own creativity and turns it against him. Meanwhile, on the surface, new character to the series Saga Anderson has been assigned to solve a string of terrible, ritualistic murders in the town of Bright Falls and soon discovers that there may be a connection to a famous writer who vanished from the town 13 years ago…

It’s been a little while, huh? But I’m back! A heady mix of delays beyond my control, international travel (for both pleasure AND some exciting international projects!) and good old fashioned mental health lead to a totally unplanned span between new songs here on the channel!
I’ve been so excited to release this for the longest time! Way back in 2020 when I released Slide Into the Void for Remedy’s ‘Control’ (one of my favourite games in recent memory) they reached out to me and expressed an interest in maybe working together in future. So when Alan Wake 2 was announced I immediately reached out in kind. A song touching on themes of creator vs creation and artistic legacy whilst also occupying the fantastically weird world of the Remedyverse? Sign me up!
What followed was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, video production I’ve yet attempted! Four solid days of shooting, the largest set we’ve ever built based on Remedy’s own schematics for the version built for the game’s live action sequences. Not only that but Remedy were kind enough to send me multiple props and costume pieces that were used when filming for the actual game! The cultist costumes, their masks, Saga’s unique sweater, the books, the desk lamp, all the 100% genuine props you’ll see in game! Together Remedy and Epic have been so fantastic to work with, providing in-depth access and references for the game way ahead of release so I was able to research and write, and placing incredible faith in my crazy ideas. Projects on this scale are both a joy and a nightmare to pull together and I couldn’t have done it without their support!
But not just them! Yet again I am blessed to be able to thank my incredible team for coming together and making this happen. As always thank you to the incredible Lizzy, my editor and production coordinator, Paul, my DOP and cinematographer and Nick, set builder extraordinaire. As well as new team member Benedict who has become invaluable as a prop and costume fabricator over the last few projects. I’d like to thank my good friend Storm for taking on the role of Saga! Storm and I go way back and I’m so happy to finally be able to bring her on for a project! And another newcomer to the channel, my incredibly talented sister, Caitlin, carpenter extraordinaire! Those stunning chalk boards? Made from scratch by her according to Remedy’s blueprints. I’m thrilled to be able to work with her and I hope to do so much more in future!
Thanks for sticking with me whilst I was away, everyone! I'll be back again soon, there are a LOT of things on the way!

Constellation. Vasco. Pronouns. Et cetera.
It's been a little quiet around here lately! But somewhat paradoxically not because I haven't been making stuff, but because I've been making so much stuff simultaneously that none of it is quite ready yet... So have a remaster in the meantime!
This track is a personal favourite of mine from the early days of the channel. As my first foray into 'angry businessperson monologues to music' content, a genre and niche I seem to have created for myself, it has always held a special place in my heart. And as I have many of my older songs remastered to bring them in line with the audio processing standards required for a physical music release (more news on that soon!) you can bet this was one of the tracks on the list for a coat of varnish!
As ever, it's a remaster, not a remake, just a subtle tidy up of the original; better mixing, some tuning and timing touch ups! The original isn't going anywhere if you prefer it. I know these remasters always split the room between 'This is great!' and 'This is exactly the same!' so I hope as many of you as possible enjoy this fresh revamp of a bit of Stupendi-History!
A huge thanks to my Patrons for making all the cool stuff I'm working on that I can't share yet possible as well as to all of you for sticking with me for this quiet spot! It's rare I go this long without an upload! Neath! really took it out of me so recovering from that project, travelling to the US to perform in July, working with the Streamys AND working on several other big projects for the channel has kept me from my more predictable 'sort of monthly but not quite' upload schedule! Would you believe I have TWO fully filmed music videos in post production right now AND two more in pre-production about to be filmed?
And a massive thanks to the wonderful @NinethieMusic for the original 'Fallout faction rap challenge' he set all those years ago that inspired this track in the first place!

A Fallen London Musical | Mask of the Rose Song! The Stupendium2023-06-16 | MASK OF THE ROSE IS AVAILABLE NOW! On Steam: bit.ly/MotRSteampendium On GOG: bit.ly/MotRStupendiGOG On Switch (US eShop): bit.ly/MotRSwitchpendium
In February 1862, with no warning at all, the great city of London fell through the surface of the Earth. This was meant to be a year of progress and industry. The great exposition. Trams. A new sewer system. Instead, London and her citizens find themselves in a cave, forced to adapt to this perplexing new circumstance as both the boundaries of reality and the tight grip of Victorian societal convention begin to fade into the shadows that now seem to watch without eyes. Six months on from the fall, London has extinguished her fires and buried her dead, but there are still many mysteries to be answered… Who committed the first murder in this new world? And why does their victim seem so cheerful? Who are the cryptic Masters of the Bazaar who have taken control of the city? And why are they so interested in the affairs of people’s hearts? Where did all the street signs go? Did your hat just say something? All of these secrets and more are there to be discovered. And maybe you can find love along the way?
- So, I may have gotten carried away and written enough lyrics for 3 songs...
Failbetter were very gracious in letting me create my own characters for this project, to better explore the world and ideas of Fallen London without being tied to (and risking spoiling) the stories of the characters you’ll meet in Mask of the Rose. With the exception of Mr Pages, you won’t meet any of my characters in this video in-game. They were all written for this song to show as many facets of Fallen London as I could. We have low, middle and upper class and with each we touch on the new laws, freedoms and struggles and the new mysteries of the world beneath. Characters looking for love, looking for intimacy and just looking for companionship, a direct correlation with your options in Mask of the Rose’s relationships. Fallen London, freed from those Victorian societal norms, has always been a diverse, inclusive and unapologetically queer world. And as a queer creator myself it was so important to make sure that was properly represented here, especially at this newly explored early point in the timeline, as the city comes to terms with what it means to have that freedom of self-expression. So, Cassie was created specifically to fill this role and explore these themes. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a little nerve-racking playing a femme presenting, character here on the channel for the first time, but as a genderfluid person myself, it felt natural and meant so much to me to get that opportunity. I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed playing her.
This project has been one of the most fun things I have ever had the chance to work on and a real career highlight for me. I want to thank everyone in the credits below from the bottom of my heart for working so hard on this. Everyone gave it their all and I couldn’t have done it without you!

Thanks to Genshin Impact for reaching out to work with me and making this project possible! #ad

When I was first approached to work with Genshin Impact on a promotional song for their next big update I would be remiss to say I wasn’t sceptical. Just what would I DO with it? It’s for certain not my typical fare here on the channel but there’s nothing I love more than a challenge. (Arguments could be made for a good, strong cheddar but Big Cheddar have yet to reach out about a song).
So Liz and I set about playing and researching the lore of Genshin Impact to try and find an angle that would be a good fit for the channel. In our research of the lore we discovered two key things;
Number one: There is a LOT of it. Like, wow. There’s a lot to get your head around. How would I pick one thing to squeeze into a song?
Number two: There’s an entire region of the game devoted to the pursuit of knowledge with a grand academy at its centre.
Well if we’ve proved one thing over the past five years it’s that if you give me an establishment where some sort of authority figure could conceivably lecture a listener on a given relevant topic, I can squeeze that through my noggin's song nozzle and extrude a jam from it.
So what if… I tried to cram as much lore as possible into as little time as possible? Now THERE’S a challenge.
This song could easily have been five times longer and still not covered everything so it’s far from comprehensive, but as a fun race through the history of the continent of Teyvat it is, as the kids say, a bop.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped pull this project together! To Jemma for returning to the channel to make the costume after her fantastic prior work on The Toybox, to Stargirl for her work on the makeup, To Kitnxi and Xoriak for their work on the CG and as always to Oxygen for his work on composing the music and mixing the track!
A lesson learned on this project? A big fake moustache glued to your lip that stops your upper lip moving plus amore subtle physical performance to imply age plus the fact that said moustache also hides half of your mouth PLUS half the time trying to balance on a moving treadmill in a full length trip hazard of a robe whilst also performing in character to incredibly fast lyrics...
Equals A: a very hard time lip syncing and B: the fact that even using all the best takes you can't see my mouth moving under all the facial hair half the time. Trust me, it is!
Stay tuned, folks! There’s another big project on the horizon! (And Big Cheddar, if you’re listening, call me.)

I think this one is long overdue the remaster treatment! I always loved this track, I remember writing it on my commute to and from work at my old job, never realising that what I was writing would one day help me find a whole new career. These characters are SO fun to perform and I always wanted to hear how this track would sound with a more professional coat of polish. There are no radical changes here, just a lot of minor touch-ups to bring the track up to standards! Plus shiny 4k visuals!
(I also fixed the subtitles, so Sans is all lowercase and Papyrus is all caps. I’ve had a lot of comments about that since the video originally came out!)

Part beast, part locomotive, Charles has arisen and the rails aren't safe. Where did he come from? Why is he here? What will this do to the price of an off-peak commuter season ticket? These are the questions you must answer. Summoned to the island as a famed monster hunter, the islanders need you to take Charles down. But Charles isn’t your only problem…
Certain islanders think the best way to keep Charles from eating them is to make sure Charles never goes hungry… Here we go! First big production video of the year! And an absolute blast to get to work with Dan again on a big, fun, spooky collab!
And before you say anything, I know the game is really just an industrial railway but for the purposes of this video let’s imagine it also features a small passenger line. We had access to a beautiful little heritage railway station so were we NOT gonna use it? Lots of firsts on this project! CG environment extension! 3D printing! Exciting to explore new processes to help grow even larger projects going forwards! A huge thank you to the entire team who helped put this together. My on-set and behind the scenes crew, the various CG artists who worked on this with me, this project couldn’t have happened with you all! And the same goes for every one of my patrons, thank you all too for making this project possible!

It’s 2023! And time to try something new! I say this fully in the knowledge that I actually started this project in 2021, but that’s entirely besides the point. I have always loved the cypher format. A whole troupe of creators coming together on a track with a shared theme. I loved the idea of organising one myself but no good cypher ideas I had felt like a right fit for the channel. Then an epiphany. Perhaps the best cypher ideas for a channel like mine were the worst cypher ideas. And so the idea of ‘Unlikely Cyphers’ was born! I hope for this to be a recurring series. Not a regular thing, but as often as I can fit them between my main music video projects! I’m a HUGE fan of The Muppets and have been for as long as I remember. So they felt like the perfect inaugural episode. Mainstream enough that everyone knows them, odd enough that the idea excited me. Strap in, the topics only get weirder from here! A massive thank you to everyone who came together to work on this with me, I had a blast putting this together and getting to work with so many folks I’ve not had the chance to work with on the channel before, as well as some returning friends! And Especially to Bonecage who not only performed as Lew Zealand, but also composed the beat and mixed this monster of a track!

Alongside the dusty old hardware were a bunch of tapes. Most were too degraded after what must be decades in a dusty attic to play at all. The few that did work were mostly home recordings of old TV. Clearly well used, garbled from countless re-recordings over the same fragile strip of magnetic tape, snippets of programming from years gone by. Uploaded here is one of the small salvageable segments from a tape labelled 'Christmas '86'.
Strangely, since I found that tape... I've not actually been able to find my way back down from the attic. There was a hatch here somewhere... A ladder? But it just... Keeps going...?
Is anyone there?
---
I told you I wanted to do something new! I never said something couldn't still be spooky! And yes, it is kind of a demi-parody of 'Holly Jolly Christmas'! I've wanted to do something jazzy since I last attempted it with 'Another Horror Holiday' way back in 2019. But where that was a pastiche of more modern festive jazz, I wanted to go back further and take a stab at a real classic festive sound. Couple that with my love for the old TV holiday special aesthetic and weird hobby of enjoying vintage commercial compilations and the idea of a 'Backrooms Holiday Special' on a mysterious old tape wedged itself in my head a year ago and hasn't left since. It felt like a match made in heaven. Analogue horror meets analogue holidays! A huge thanks to everyone who helped put this together! I absolutely fell in love with this game when I first played it. The aesthetic, the sounds, the characters. I don't typically play this sort of game at all, but the world of it totally drew me in just from the trailers and I knew I had to try it. And I am so glad I did!

When I released 'A Pizza the Action' a few months ago the response was incredible. Particularly the response to my 'glam-sona', Cosmo! It didn't take long before I was flooded with requests for a toy version of them...
Well ask and ye shall receive! I ran a poll to see who'd be interested in a plush Cosmo and all the numbers pointed to making this thing a reality, so thank you all for your feedback and support!
I absolutely adore this character and am thrilled with how their toy has turned out. A huge thank you once again to Jolin for creating this character for me and to Coda and Coolio for their work bringing them to life in 3D!
Cosmo is available now! We've done an initially limited run of 1000 toys. If we make more and how many more will depend on how well this first batch sells so be sure to act faz-t or risk missing out! At this stage I can't say if there will be a 2nd batch!

Satisfactory, the game which sees you dropped on an alien world by shady industrial overlords to convert its luscious greenery into cold, hard, yet undeniably satisfying industrial progress, has been one of my absolute favourite games of the past few years. I already had a LOT of hours logged before I made my first Satisfactory song and I have played countless more since! So when Heroic Replicas reached out to me to create a follow up to my original song to help promote their new selection of Satisfactory replicas and merch, of course I jumped at the chance to dust off the hideous brown corduroy business suit again!
Having seen Heroic Replica's work up close, both their Satisfactory and non-Satisfactory creations are really rather fantastic so it was great to get the chance to work with them on this project! A huge thanks to them for making this project possible and the chance to return to a game I love!

I’m back! That ‘scheduled vacation’ I mentioned in my previous video was much needed and much enjoyed but I’m excited to be back and working on a heap of new and upcoming projects! This being the first! For certain a smaller project to facilitate that time away, this song was written and recorded, with the video mostly completed before I left and now I’m back just took a little more work to have ready for you.
It's certainly the saddest/most emotionally intense song I’ve uploaded to the channel in a long, long time. In truth this song was written on August 5th, which not only was my birthday but also the day of Nerdcore Party Con, an event I had been looking forward to performing at for years after it had been delayed several times due to the Pandemic. And an event I would have been attending had it not been for the Covid I had contracted the day before my flight on the 3rd.
Alone and isolating as the friends I had been desperate to see were partying on the other side of the world and with my US vacation cancelled (though thankfully later rescheduled the following month, sans the convention) I tried to write a song to distract myself. But I guess I needed an emotional outlet and it turned out to be this song. I sat down with the intent of writing first and foremost about the cat. But ultimately, I didn’t have much interesting to say about the cat. The cat is adorable but really serves as a vehicle to learn about the world, lore and characters of the forgotten city.
The idea of a city filled with abandoned sentient robots so ancient that they don’t even remember how they gained that sentience was fascinating to me. There are various theories about the Companions and how they came to be, but I found the idea that they simply don’t know and that uncertainty to be what was really interesting. So I chose to write from their perspective, unsure and theorising, based on some of the ideas the Companions put forward in game.
I hope you all enjoyed this slightly heavier and less cat-centric take on the game. It’s not often I flex those more serious writing muscles but I’m very proud of the result. Rest assured, there is some trademark Stupendium brand silliness, bureaucracy and sinister authority figure-ness on the horizon. Stay tuned!
Thanks to all of my fantastic Patrons for supporting the channel and making my videos possible!

Prod. by oo oxygenThe Stupendium2022-08-26 | ‘COSMO THE PARROT' PLUSH AVAILABLE NOW! http://bit.ly/CosmoPlush
In Steel Wool Studio’s ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach’, you take on the role of Gregory - a young boy who mysteriously finds himself locked in the neon-drenched ‘Mega Pizzaplex’ after hours. Forced to dodge the likes of Chica the Chicken, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator and the sadistic Vanny, but with the help of Freddy Fazbear to guide him, will Gregory uncover the mysteries of the Pizzaplex? And more importantly, will he survive to tell the tale?
Well, here it is! It’s been a long time coming! It’s been several years since I’ve dived into the world of FNAF, but as soon as I saw the first trailers for Security Breach, I knew what had to be done. This game was crying out for a ‘kick-ass 80s action anthem’, and I knew I had to be the one to do it. So, I channelled my inner Hasselhoff to put together this tune.
I eschewed my more typical, intricate lyrical style for this one in favour of an accurate pastiche - 80s action movie themes weren’t known for their complex rhyme schemes and clever wordplay. For this track, I really wanted to nail that feeling of a real old movie theme, so I chose to use some simpler lyrics and focus hard on ‘vibes’. It was a challenge to do, but I think the end result is awesome - I hope you do too!
I want to thank EVERYONE who helped this project come together. This was by far the largest production I have ever undertaken, with two sets built, an on-location shoot and heavily animated sequences, as well as custom props and the renting of 25,000 balls, this project could not have happened without the help of SO many people.
And I want to give an extra special thanks to my good friend Jolin for designing my avatar for this video. The life of the ‘StupendiBird’ started years ago as a piece of fan-art and the design has become so popular in the Stupendium community over on Twitter and Discord that it felt only right to officiate them into a real video. And when Jolin sent me a ‘Glamrock’ version one day, I knew this was the way to do it. Thank you to her for letting me use the character for this video and for providing all of the official art of the bird, both in the video and over on the merch store!
And finally, of course, I need to thank my incredible Patrons. I know I say it every video but it’s true, videos like these would not be possible without your amazing support. Thank you!
I’m about to take a holiday for a few weeks, but I have a few projects in the works and I should have one with you shortly after I get back. Until then, enjoy your time at the Pizzaplex…

The Stupendium is a musician, animator and content creator, creating weird, wonderful and usually incredibly nerdy songs and animations. Join them on their journey to obscure, niche internet stardom! They have some pretty decent videos, wonderful facial hair and a great sense of discomfort describing themselves in the third person.CANT TEACH THIS | Two Point Campus Song! The Stupendium2022-07-22 | I'M IN THIS GAME?! WISHLIST TWO POINT CAMPUS NOW! bit.ly/3IZivjg
In Two Point Studios' 'Two Point Campus' you are charged with guiding the next generation of minds as you build your dream University for the world's upcoming chefs, musicians, secret agents, medieval knights, wizards, dairy based sports personalities and quite possibly, Stupendiums. A short while ago SEGA reached out to me to ask if I'd like to BE IN THE GAME and of course I said yes! So I am thrilled to be able to say that I am one of five creators globally who might just show up on your Campus! Each creator appears in their own specific level and you'll find my sparkly orange self walking the halls of the performing arts campus in the town of Upper Etching. Please be nice to me!
This video was a lot of fun to make, even with the very tight timeline I had to work with. It was quite refreshing to go all the way back to 2018 and make a video in the style of my original Two Point Hospital song, a simple green screen shoot and pure silliness. I've never done a song as a direct sequel to a previous song before and I thought it would be interesting to re-purpose the original instrumental from my Hospital song. It just fits the vibe so well and after hours of searching I couldn't find anything that could match it!
A monumental thank you to SEGA and Two Point Studios for the opportunity to be a part of such a beloved series and of course to my incredible Patrons for making this content possible.
All going well I'll be back with another, much bigger video very soon!
...Or it won't get finished in time and it'll come out when I get back from my upcoming holiday. But either way, there is a BIG video on the horizon! Stay tuned, you won't want to miss it!

So whilst I work on my next large-scale project how about another remaster? Probably my most requested remaster to date!
Frostpunk is one of my favourite games from the past few years and Shelter From the Storm has always been one of my favourite songs from the early days of the channel. It was one of the first times I really tried to push what I could do with both storytelling and rhyme and when people ask me what some of my favourite lyrics I've ever written are, a lot come from this song. But it is definitely showing it's age. It was also my first real attempt at large group vocals and harmonies and in hindsight my loose grasp on choral work combined with my not terribly competent mixing could definitely use some TLC.
So I'm thrilled to present to you this fully remastered version of the track, along with a remastered video now in 4k with improved visuals! A huge thanks to oo oxygen for their incredible work brining new life to this song.
I hope you enjoy this new take on a Stupendium classic and that it tides you over as I work on a whole bunch of new projects!
